I woke up as my alarm rang in my ear I groan but then remember it's Friday

I turn my alarm off and just lay in bed for a bit since I was warm and comfortable

I hear a knock on my door "Come in" I said lightly still tired since I went to sleep late last night because Hayes wouldn't stop texting me

My door opened to reveal my mom

"Get up or you'll be late for school" she said and closed my door I sigh as I took my blanket off the cold air hitting my body immediately

Today I started my period so after I used the bathroom and brushed my teeth I went to my closet and chose a lazy day outfit

I got my Drake merch blue shirt with the little owl in the corner, black capri yoga pants, and my red Nike shoes

After changing I went over to the shelf in my closet that held all my hats and got my white polo player baseball cap I then walked out of my closet and over to my vanity which held my jewelry and makeup

I put on my diamond ear rings, and my gold Michael Kors watch

I sat down to do my hair, which I decided on a ponytail then put my hat on

For makeup I just did a natural look then sprayed my favorite perfume on

Once I was done getting ready I grabbed my black jansport backpack putting it on

I walked down the stairs but stopped mid way realizing I forgot my phone I run back to my room and get it then go downstairs for breakfast

"I'm taking you to school today" Alex said "Alright" I said not in the mood to speak

I already know I'm going to have a crappy mood today so I feel bad for anybody that has to deal with me today

For breakfast I ate a yogurt with strawberries and granola

Once I finished Alex and I head to school

I made my way to my locker as my attention was on my phone

I was on twitter liking quotes and tweets my friends posted

Once I reached my locker I unlocked it and grabbed my camera for photography class

I forgot to take it home with me during the weekend oops my bad

I feel someone behind me closely I roll my eyes thinking it's Liam

"What do you want Li-" I cut myself off as I turn around to see Hayes causing my eyes to widen

"What are you doing here!?" I said

"I enrolled" he smirked I was about to say something when I was interrupted

"Hey beautiful" I heard Liam say I turn to look at him "Hi" I smile giving him a hug

The bell rings which caused me to jump a little not expecting it to ring so suddenly

"Woah there" Liam said with his deep raspy voice

You could tell he was just as tired as I am right now

"Anyways, what class do you have right now Hayes?" I asked turning towards him

"Oh umm, Photography" he said

"Great you have it with me and Liam" I smiled at both of them

You and I both know I probably won't make it out alive

Ever since that day at the ice cream place I could tell they had a complicated past and by the looks of it they hate each other

Liam nor Hayes want to tell me what happened which bugs the hell out of me

"Lets go then" Hayes said

As we sat in our seats Mrs. Roberts asked Hayes to introduce himself even though probably half the class knows who he is

"Ok class so today we are joined by Hayes Grier, would you like to introduce yourself Mr. Grier?" She asked

"Uh, well I'm pretty sure most of you know me but if you don't I came here for a year but then transferred to online school for many reasons which you may know, uhh, oh and please just treat me like a normal student" he finished off

"You may sit next to Noah Manning" Mrs. Roberts pointed at the seat that happened to be in front of me

Noah Manning is unfortunately my ex boyfriend him and Liam used to get along but ever since Noah and I broke up Liam has hated his guts which I get since he's my best friend

"Today you guys will be able to walk around campus taking pictures of things you find interesting or get creative with something or someone, you will be with your shoulder partners so be sure to stick together," the teacher explained

"I will let this half of the class of go first, while the other half waits patiently"

First off, my side of the class got to go take pictures. Second, my girl best friend Carrie happened to be my partner so thank goodness and third, I don't have to deal with Liam or Hayes

They were both on the other side of class

After an hour and thirty minutes in class it was time to pack up

While waiting for the bell I got on my phone and into the groupchat since I haven't been on it all day

Layla: Warning I am on my period

Matt: Then adios✌🏼️

Cameron: I'm sure she's not bad😂

Hayes: Wrong, earlier in class I accidentally hit her with my pencil and she threw it right back at me but not only that but a book too thank god it wasn't a hard cover book tho

Layla: Well don't throw things at me🙃

Aaron: Oh and I texted her too and she got mad bc I was interrupting her photography class time

Aaron: She literally gave me a lecture

Taylor: Well damn😂

Layla: I hate y'all

I roll my eyes as I look up from my phone to see Hayes laughing at me

Layla: Bitch I suggest you stop laughing

Carter: Wait who are you talking to?

Layla: Hayes

Hayes: I think she's planing how she's gonna hide my body after murdering me in her mind guys she's scaring me rn

Gilinsky: Smh you shouldn't be scared of a girl😂

I hear the bell ring so I grab my backpack and walk out of class

I begin walking to math class when I heard my name being called I turn around and my eyes meet Hayes'

"What class do you have right now?" He asked "Science" I simply said "Oh I have English, I guess I'll see you later" Hayes said walking the opposite way

It's finally lunch time, right now me and Carrie are going to the table we usually hang out at

After about ten minutes Liam, Tyler, Jordan, and Justin joined us

Carrie and Tyler are dating they're the athletic couple in the group

And, well, the only couple in the group

They all think Liam and I are gonna end up dating and so does the rest of the school, I will admit Liam is a very attractive guy but I'm not ready to date anybody at the moment plus I would hate if our friendship got ruined

I was eating the fries I had bought when Justin reached out to get one

I slap his hand away "Mine!" I shout "Bitch" I heard him mumble "Why don't you say it louder and clear next time" I smile at the end

Justin and I have this sarcastic friendship so whenever we call each other names we know not to take it to the heart

"Bitch" he stretched out in my face I roll my eyes and push his face away "I love you Layla" he laughed giving me a side hug

I pushed him away again "Haha" I heard Liam laugh at him

I roll my eyes again as they land on someone

Hayes

I seen he was hanging out with the one person I absolutely hate

I feel anger build up in me

I slam my hand on the table as I get up and walk my way to him

"Why are you with this fake ass bitch?" I look at Hayes "Huh?" He said confused "Why are you with her? You could of hung out with me" I said

"Listen here bitch, he doesn't have to hang out with your lame ass group he clearly wants to be with the popular kids" Renee smirked at me

Renee used to be my friend but then she did something that made me hate her so much

Remember Noah? My ex boyfriend

Yeah well they were hooking up behind my back for three months

Noah and I dated for a year almost two years I felt so betrayed the day found out I'm still heart broken to this day but I got good at hiding my feelings

"Then he's at the wrong table honey" I say

"Because if I recall nobody likes you or your fake ass group, you guys are never invited to parties and nobody knows you so it's clear that you probably just want Hayes to give you popularity" I snap back

"Layla chill, I don't wanna hang out with your group anyways, as long as Liam is hanging out with you then I'm hanging out with Renee" Hayes said

I squint my eyes at him as I look at him up and down "Wow" was all I said before I walk off

I sit down between Carrie and Justin

I get my phone out and just block everybody out
