Chapter Twenty-Four.

Trickster6y: Kuro-chan!!!

Trickster6y: Come on,  I have really some important news to tell you.

Sherlock_Geek1216: Oh,  good morning to you too.

Sherlock_Geek1216: So,  what is this news? 

Trickster6y: I went out with Shin-chan,  and I know he might not count it as a date but I do,  I mean it wasn't awkward and I had so much fun.

Trickster6y: however I wanted to kiss him goodbye but I couldn't since you know I don't know whether he hate or love me, 

Sherlock_Geek1216: well,  he went out with you,  right?  That means that he actually loves you,  I mean why would he go out with someone he hates? 

Trickster6y: he can be a little hypocrite sometimes you know..

Sherlock_Geek1216: how so?

Trickster6y: when he is dealing with criminals,  he sometimes seem hypocrite, but it's alright I understand that it's his job so I don't really blame him for lying or so.

Trickster6y: on the contrary,  I really adore this thing about him,  I like how considerate he is and how caring for people he seems,  although I hate how he always throws himself in the face of all the dangers most of the time,  I think that's it's something like I don't know,  but I like him and everything about him. 

Trickster6y: am I so whipped?  Even if I am,  I don't really mind it,  I mean I know I have hurt him before and said some really offensive and heartless stuff but in fact,  I meant none of it,  I wanted to confess and start a relationship with him,  because he is worth it,  worth more than it. 

Trickster6y: I really wish I could say all those things in person,  I mean,  when I see him or try to tell all these stuff out,  I get so shy and being shy is not one of my traits,  so I don't know,  I guess it's like that when you're talking with the one you love.

Sherlock_Geek1216: um,  I really think you should say all these stuff to him in person and I am more than sure that he would have a good comeback. 

Trickster6y: a good come back?  As in a good way of rejecting me?  No no,  I am not saying that,  not because I feel embrassed but because I don't wanna lose him,  I would rather pretend to be his friend who has no romantic intention towards him than having to be his enemy or forcing myself to forget about him. 

Sherlock_Geek1216: I don't agree with you,  I think that you should really tell him what you think,  although I must say that I'm surprised that you're telling me all these things. 

Sherlock_Geek1216: you know considering I'm a stranger and all,  for all you know I might be a serial killer gathering information about either of you to kill or I can be a reporter who knows your real identity and is just looking for a good article to get an easy promotion. 

Trickster6y: oh trust me,  I am sure you are not even a criminal,  I have known Shinichi for so long and you know that he is always working with criminals and I'm mostly tagging along with him so I can tell a shady person when I see one. 

Trickster6y: besides,  if you're a serial killer,  it wouldn't be possible to harm me,  I might appear nice but I'm not when it need to,  and you won't kill my Shin-chan because he would he under my protection.

Trickster6y: I think I would like it if you are a reporter,  I mean nothing is better than being famous right? 

Sherlock_Geek1216: I guess it depends.

Trickster6y: well,  although I would love and stay more to chat with you since it is so nice and so,  I gotta go ahead and take my Shin-chan out for lunch. 

Trickster6y: see you!

Shinichi sighed as he put his phone away,  he wasn't really sure how to think about the whole situation,  he knew he would be in denial if he acted like he didn't love—or at least,  care about the thief and now having heard his confession (even if it was in an indirect way.)  He was a little confused.  I mean,  Kaito would hate it if he found out that the one who had been listening to his secrets all this time was none but him right?  The only person who wasn't supposed to know about these secrets unless when Kaito tells him himself. 

He groaned,  running a hand through his hair as he turned his attention to the case in his hand,  now,  back to something that would hopefully make him forget about his complicated life.

Minutes passed,  as he kept reading the papers before him, then he closed the file,  smirking at it,  as he took his phone out,  and dialed the inspectors number.

"Megure-keibu!" He said excitedly,  "I think I solved the case you sent me this morning!.. Yeah,  yeah I'm sure of it." A pause on the other side,  "Sure,  I'll be on my way!"

Kaito smirked watching his detective storming happily from his house,  well,  now it's about time he makes an appearance,  right?  Don't get him wrong!  He wasn't invading his privacy,  he was just making sure that Shinichi wouldn't be busy if he invited him to go to some restaurant right now. 

He hoped off the tree he had been sitting on for quite a time,  not being aware of being watched since he was so enthusiastic about the fact that the detective is now free. 

And,  he headed toward the detective.

On the other side of the garden,  the young scientist watched the couple bantering as a smirk covered her features.  Well,  well,  she had been quite disappointed when he had broken it off with that agency girl,  since she had nothing to tease her dear friend with.

"Yo!  Shinichi!" Kaito screamed,  as he hoped toward his detective, throwing an arm around his shoulder.  "Where are you heading to?"

Blushing at the gesture but trying to hide it,  the detective replied. "I am heading to the police station,  and I'm sure that's the last place on the planet you would like to go to."

"It is,  but on the other side,  I would do anything for my dear Shin-chan." The magician grinned. "So I don't mind keeping you company."

"Well,  then if you say so."

"So,  what's the case about?" The thief asked.

Shinichi's eyes gleamed with pure interest as he started to tell him about every single detail he had found about the case, Kaito liked this look on him even if he felt a little jealous and hoped that he would look at him the same way he looks when he talks about those cases he loves dearly.

As they entered the police station,  greeting the officers, Satou raised an eyebrow at Kaito then leaned toward Takagi side. 

"Ne,  who is that guy with Kudou-kun? " She asked. 

"Him?  I don't know his name but I think I saw him a couple of times before with Kudou-kun,  I think he is a friend of him or something." The detective replied to his lover as he put the case file on his desk and turned toward the magician's direction.

"A friend." Satou repeated then chuckled. "You know he doesn't look like a friend to me."

Alarmed,  the other stood up for a moment. "You mean he looks dangerous? " over the time,  Takagi has come to trust Satou's judgment since she was nearly right on all the situation they have ever accounted. 

"No, you silly detective." Satou laughed. "I think he likes him,  they are quite a match if you ask me."

"Uh,  you don't even know him,  how are you sure that they are a match?"

"I can tell a handsome man when I see one." She winked at her companion causing him to blush,  as they went back to their work.  Keeping in mind that she was definitely going to ask about the new comer.

Takagi glanced at her for a moment then sighed and turned back to the case in their hands.

What did he love about her?  He wondered.

Once they were out of the station,  Kaito threw an arm around the other's shoulders,  grinning.  He lead the way.

"So,  where are you taking me?" Shinichi asked,  sighing. "I have to tell you I'm not a fan of kidnapping so it would be better if you let me know where we are exactly going."

Pouting,  the magician replied playfully. "But that would ruin all the fun! You know a surprise isn't a surprise if it doesn't remain a secret."

"Uh,  give me a break,  I'm really tired of all your surprises."

"But,  you have to admit that you love them all!"

"What makes you so confident?"

"You are still letting me accompany you, I doubt you would go somewhere you hate."

"You know Takagi-Keji and Satou-san was talking about us,  I could tell from the way he was looking at us."

"I figured, since I was listening on them."

The detective smacked him, "You know this is rude,  you shouldn't listen on people!"

"Hey,  I'm a thief, that's what I do!"

"You know I could use this confession and get you behind the bars,  right?"

"Honestly,  I would rather you use another confession." The magician winked.

Shinichi blushed and looked away.  "Stupid."

"So,  do you wanna know what they were talking about?"

"Is it important? "

"Yes,  it is."

"Then tell me."

"I'm sorry,  Shin-chan,  but despite how precious you are to me,  I hate making empty bargains."

"You can't ask for a payment when you are the one offering,  that's now how it works."

"It is in my book." The magician smirked. "And I assure you the payment is sufficient and easy."

"And what is that payment?"

"A kiss." The magician grinned. 

Shinichi blushed again,  for what seemed like the millionth times and smacked the magician then walked away.  "Forget it,  I don't wanna know what they were saying!"

"Hey!  Wait up." The magician called as he chased after him. "But they were talking about important things for detectives."

"I don't care,  Kaito!"

"Where are you going? That's not the right way!" Kaito called,  still trailing behind the detective.

Shinichi smiled as the waiter came closer to them asking them what they wanted to have,  "I think I would—"

"We will have a couple of steak plates and some juice, please." Kaito cut in cheerfully.

"All our juices are fresh and organic,  I'm sure you will enjoy them."

"Thank you,  we will get two lemonades then.".

Once the waiter was away,  the detective glared at his companion. "Hey!  I didn't want to order that." He complained,  forcing himself not to stomp his foot since well,  he isn't Conan any more.

"I know you wanted coffee but you drink this thing on a daily basis so I thought it would be nice to change it since well you're losing weight."

"I am not." The detective replied quietly. 

"You know you are." The magician said. "Anyways,  you know there's a karaoke bar here if you wanna try it out after we finish eating or an arcade whatever you choose."

"I assure you a karaoke bar is the last place you would like to go to with me." Shinichi stated,  feeling a little embarrassed.

Raising an eyebrow at him,  Kaito inquired. "And why is that?  I'm sure you have an angelic voice, Shin-chan."

"No,  and I'm not going to sing for you,  for two reasons, the first is I don't want your ears to bleed and the second I hate Karaoke."

"So, the arcade then?"

"Yeah,  that's a better idea."

And their food came.

Honestly,  Shinichi thought that he would have to solve at least three cases since they went to three different locations,  on the contrary,  nothing was killed. He smiled at the fact as he stared at Kaito who was breaking a new score in some game,  he had to admit that well,  spending the day with the magician was actually an enjoyable thing,  in fact,  he liked it. 

"Take this,  you stupid game!" Kaito screamed,  excitingly,  causing the whole place to stare at him. Paying no attention to the eyes bearing through his soul,  he turned to Shinichi and smiled. "You know I'm starting to like this place. " He informed as he struggled to gather all the tickets he won. 

Helping him,  Shinichi chuckled. "I can see why."

"Such a shame you didn't want to try most of the games here, I assure you they are quite nice and challenging."

"No,  no,  I'm good."

"Come along, let's get our prize." He said as he headed toward the cashier.

Kaito smiled at the man,  who looked quite astonished with the incredible amount of tickets the magician offered as he greeted him. "Good evening."

"Oi,  we have a really lucky winner here." The man grinned." Come on,  young man,  choose any prize you would like."

Kaito eyed the prizes for a few moments before his eyes landed on some huge brown stuffed cat then he nodded at it. "I want this!"

"Here you go!" The vender said as he gave him his prize and took away the tickets. "Enjoy it!"

The couple nodded at him as they left the shop.

"Here,  take it." Kaito handed the toy to the detective. "It's as cute as you,  that's why I chose it."

Shinichi stared at the toy for a moment,  before smiling warmly at the other. "Are you sure you don't want it though?"

"I actually won it for you."

"Thank you." The detective blushed  and took it.

Trickster6y: I just had the best day of my life,  and I enjoyed my time so much.

Sherlock_Geek1216: what do you want?  I wanna sleep.

Trickster6y: anyways,  we went to have some lunch then we went to the arcade and we had so much fun and I won a teddy bear for him,  it was so nice and cute. 

Sherlock_Geek1216: that's good for you,  can you leave me sleep please?

Trickster6y: Fine,  Fine,  I'll bug you in the morning. 

Trickster6y: Good night! 

End of the chapter.

So,  the story is coming to an end,  which is a good thing since I want to write another one but I don't want to start it before finishing this one so yeah!
