-4 years later-

"Ow! Plasma!" Hux squeaked and shot a glare back at her.

"Hold still you big baby." She laughed and pulled at the white ribbon that would tighten the corset on his wedding dress. "You look beautiful." She finished off tying the ribbon in a bow.

Hux fixed the sleeves on his dress and smiled. "Thank you, I thought I'd look terrible."

Phasma scoffed and rolled her eyes. "You look good in dresses, It was probably the best idea Ren has ever had."

Kylo was in his own dressing room having something close to a panic attack.

"Kylo, calm down. For goodness sake!" Mitaka cried and grabbed the panicking Grooms hands. "You're going to be fine." He said and pulled Kylo to sit down. "Let me re-hem some things and then we'll be on our way."

Gradually the panic started to subside and he took a quick selfie for Snapchat and Instagram, he wanted to remember this moment for years to come.

"Dear, you look fine. Don't worry." Leia smiled and fixed Hans bowtie and adjusting his collar.

"This is our son and his fiancé, I don't want to embarrass them by looking like a hobo." He huffed and dusted himself off.

"Calm down, you're fine. Now remember, since Armitage–"

"Yes, yes I know. I walk him down the isle." He interrupted and soon it was time for everything to start. "Go sit, dear. I'll go to H-Armitage." He corrected himself and went to the back of the church where the isle began and the music from the organ blared, filling up the church of songs and smiles from friends and families. Of course Kylo's side of the church was full but Hux barely had anyone to invite.
Han waited for the "Bride" as Kylo called him to come to his side. He looked at his son, standing proudly at the end of the isle as if nothing could touch him, he kept his back to him, not wanting to see Hux on accident. (That was bad luck.)

Hux stood at the other side of the doors, leading into the church, sobbing while Phasma and Mitaka were at his side, trying to calm him down.

"You'll be alright dear, nothing bad will happen." Phasma whispered and rubbed his back. Hux had insisted that something was going to happen.
The door opened a bit and Han stepped out to see his (almost) son-in-law in tears. He looked between Phasma and Mitaka.
"What's wrong what happened?"

"He's having a panic attack, we've tried everything but he's not getting better." She whispered and watched Han pull him into his arms.

"Armitage? Just breathe. In and out, in and out." He whispered and Hux buried his face into his neck, crying softly. "Go tell them that it's going to be a minute, okay?" He pulled Hux over to sit down and he calmed him down. "What happened? Did something happen to set you off?" He asked.

Hux bit his lip and wiped his tears away, he felt dumb for being so upset, for being so scared and worried. "I-I..I saw m-my...my..father!.." He started sobbing again.

Armitage was walking towards the church and he happened to look to his left where there were some bushes, he walked over to look at a single rose on the bush which was very weird for this time of the year, it was nearly Christmas and roses don't bloom in the winter. He realized it was a fake flower when he got to crouch in front of it. Then it disappeared into the bush, he stood up and looked at the bush in confusion. "Is there someone in there?" He asked softly, thinking it was one of the flower girls playing a game with him.
Hux smiled and shook his head. "Come out, the wedding is about to–" He felt like his heart stopped. Suddenly he couldn't breath in absolute unadulterated terror.

Brendol looked at his son from the other side of he bush, standing there in a white dress. It was long sleeved with a corset on the outside. For years he's been hiding from the cops because of the shitty little brat. "I'm going to get you, you little shit." He snarled and ran off before anyone else could see him.

Hux ran away as fast as he could without tripping over the dress. Phasma crashed into the sobbing man and she didn't hesitate pulling him into her arms.
Mitaka was the next to join them, the loud sobbing and wheezing that was coming from Hux was more than a sign that something was very wrong.

"I'm sure it was just nerves. It's okay." Han managed to convince Hux that it was all just wedding nerves.

Soon the wedding went along as it should. Han escorted Hux down the isle and as soon as Kylo laid eyes on him his eyes welled up with tears.
"You look beautiful." He whispered when Hux stopped at his side.

"So do you." Armitage whispered back.

The Ceremony went on, they exchanged their vows and finally it was where they had to kiss. Kylo waisted no time, pulling his newly wed husband close by his hips and kissing him deeply.
Armitage cupped his husbands cheeks and kissed him back. "I love you." He whispered as everyone clapped.
Kylo took Hux's hand and walked up the isle with him, to the exit. People took pictures of them and congratulated them, the flower girls said they wanted to be as pretty as him. It amazed him how good Armitage was with kids, he took time to answer all of their questions and he just had a very motherly.
Soon it was time to go to the reception, Hux and Kylo walked there hand in hand. Without a care in the world. This was the best day of their lives and they were going to party the night away, never wanting it to end.

The reception was fun and Hux and Phasma danced for hours until they were panting and exhausted. Kylo ate so much cake he got sick. Mitaka fell asleep in a isolated corner of the room at about 11:00 pm. Han and Leia danced a little but mostly chatted with people from Hux's side of the family. His extremely supportive uncle was one of them, he was the one who insisted taking a multitude of pictures with Kylo and Hux.
Kylo knew his husband was having the time of his life, he really came out of his shell. Things changed rapidly from that day on the boat when Kylo said he loved Hux. Months later Armitage let him become a little more physical and months after that Armitage became comfortable enough to have sex with him. That was Kylo's main goal, not sex, but making Armitage comfortable with him to get to that point.
But soon like all good things the party drew to a close. Hux and Kylo put all of their wedding gifts in the car and started to clean up the room. Han and Leia stayed to clean for a while before going home. Phasma picked up Mitaka and carried him to her car to drive him home, soon it was just Hux and Kylo.
"Have fun, muffin?" Kylo asked, laughing at Hux's disapproval of the pet name.
"Yes, I had fun." Armitage huffed and felt Kylo's arms wrap around his waist and run over the corset, lovingly.
"You need to wear dresses more often, you look absolutely gorgeous." Kylo whispered and kissed him.
"Yeah, yeah. Save it for home."
"Oh baby, I can't wait to take that dress off and look at that pretty pale body of yours."
Kylo's words made Hux shiver agains him, but the moment was ruined when the door opened.
"Yo, who is it? Are you looking for your phone? We put it in the lost and found." Kylo approached the person.
There was the unmistakable sound of a gun cocking. "Kylo!" The gun went off.
Armitage felt a bullet tear a hole through his chest. It made him stumble back and fall.
'You're dying.' A voice in his head said. 'Armitage, you are dying so stop it.' Everything went into what felt like slow motion. He heard Kylo yelling but he couldn't actually Hear. The first thing that would kill him was blood loss but he couldn't deal with that, so next was the pain and the shock. There was a hole being ripped through his body and there was no way to stop it.
Hux thought of Kylo, it kept him calm. He just got married and Kylo was his column. The thing that held him up. The only one who could save him. The only one who kept him alive.

-26 hours later-

Kylo sat in the waiting room with police officers, family and friends. The man who shot Hux had escaped before the cops came. Because of that man, his husband was having surgery done on him at this very moment. The bullet sent fragments of bone from his rib cage into his heart and lungs, puncturing them.
"There is a 75% chance he will not live, sir. I'm sorry." A doctor said. Kylo couldn't cry, he just prayed to whatever there was, just let his husband live.
Five hours later Armitage Hux-Solo died from blood loss and puncture wounds to his heart and lungs. Now Kylo cried. He went in to see his husband, one last time.
"Armi...Baby. Please. You can't leave me, I love you." He whispered. "Please, muffin. Wake up."

Beep

Kylo looked up. The heart monitor just beeped. "Mom. Get a doctor."
"What?"

Beep

"Get a doctor!!" Kylo shouted and took Hux's hand. "Come on you stubborn man. Wake up and slap me, muffin!"

Beep
Beep
Beep

Armitage opened his eyes slightly and looked over at Kylo.
"Oh god." Kylo sobbed. "Don't worry, baby. You'll be okay. Just hang in there."
Doctors and nurses rushed in and continued their procedure.
Ren went back to the waiting room and cried tears of joy.

-3 hours later-

Hux was alive, just sleeping in recovery. In 29 hours a team of doctors saved Armitage's life, and the cops arrested Brendol Hux and his accomplice.
Nothing made Kylo happier that soon he would be able to carry his bride through the threshold of their new home.

-5 years later-
Hux picked up toys that were scattered on the floor. "Ah, Anakin, sweetheart don't hit your sister. Do you know what happens to boys who hit girls?" Hux asked, crossing his arms.
"They go to jail." Anakin huffed.
"Exactly, go to jail."
Anakin did the walk of shame to 'jail' which was actually a corner with a piece of paper with nice written letters that spelt out jail.
Kylo picked up Amity and sat her down at the table. "Armitage, go get Gretchet, Brendol and Ammalee."

Now I know what you're thinking, why would Hux and Kylo have a son name Brendol. Well actually, they named him not after Hux's father but after a old ruler that ruled a kingdom called Arkanis. The girls loved the name and they insisted that Brendol was named as such.

Armitage went off to get their children and sat them down at the table. "Okay Anakin, you can come out of jail."
Anakin was at the table in no time while Kylo gave them their plates filled with food.
"Happy Anniversary, Armitage." Kylo gave Hux a small box and smiled.
Hux opened it and looked down at a small necklace in the shape of a live heart.
"Open it." Kylo chirped and the kids watched eagerly.
Armitage opened up the heart and there inside was a picture of Him, Kylo, Anakin, Amity, Brendol, Ammalee and Gretchet all together, smiling. "Oh Kylo." Hux got up and hugged him tightly. "I love you babe."
"I love you too, my muffin."
