"What the hell's going on!?"

The woman who had cornered you two appeared to be very young. The shape of her eyes and her unruly blonde locks were a dead give away to being a relative of Bakugou.

Speaking of the grumpy old troll, you returned your attention back on him with a silent glare. "I'm sorry for disturbing you, miss. I was just leaving," You hissed your last statement.

Katsuki was having none of that however and met your anger with some of his own. "The fuck are you doing, brat?" He whispered through grit teeth.

"Katsuki, what the hell are you doing to this poor girl?" The woman frowned, getting nearer. That's when the realization of the opportunity that was bestowed upon you clicked. Your lips twisted into a devious smirk as his expression shifted to uncertainty at your features. This is what you get for unwillingly hauling me into your house, jackass.

"He was trying to drag me into his room."

The woman's line of vision couldn't have been quicker as she stomped over to the male. "BAKUGOU KATSUKI!" She shrieked, yanking him off of you and practically launching him into the wall. You almost regretted what you did....almost.

"EH? WHAT THE HELL, YOU OLD HAG!?"

"NEVER IN MY LIFE DID I THINK I WAS RAISING SOME SICK LITTLE PERV IN THIS HOUSEHOLD! WHAT THE FUCK WERE YOU THINK TRYING TO FORCE THIS GIRL INTO YOUR DISGUSTING ACTIONS!?" Her voiced boomed in his ear like megaphone.

"WOULD YOU GIVE ME A SECOND—"

"AND YOU THOUGHT YOU COULD JUST SNEAK HER IN LIKE THAT AND WE WOULDN'T NOTICE!? KATSUKI, I'M ABSOLUTELY APPALLED!"

Alright, this was getting out of hand. You didn't think his relative would take it this far nor that your joke would have this effect. Meanwhile the snarl on Katsuki's face was going more and more livid by the second. The playfulness within you dissipated as he kept eyeing you letting you know that this was all entirely your fault.

You were afraid to interrupt the shouting woman but you gathered your courage and stepped up. "Um, Miss!" You yelped to get her attention. It worked because she stopped mid-scream to face you. "AND ANOTHER THING—Yes, darling?"

You chewed your lip nervously as you flicked your gaze up to her, wanting to be as sincere as possible. "I-I was just kidding. I mean, he was trying to sneak me in, but he did it with good intention. He was just trying to help me," You responded, rubbing your arm. "I'm really sorry for causing you so much trouble tonight. I'll go right away, but please don't blame Katsuki for anything. He did nothing wrong."

The look on her face went from fierceness to confusion. You glanced over to Bakugou who appeared to be a lot calmer than before but still wore his signature frown. You gave him a weak smile and slung the strap of your bag over your shoulder. "Thanks again, Katsuki, and sorry about today."

You went forward to exit but were cut short by a swift movement behind you. A hand reached gently for your arm making you turn. "You're an idiot if you think I'm just gonna let you walk out of here in the middle of the night," Bakugou remarked. His gaze then shifted to the woman. "Hey old lady, she doesn't have anywhere to go I figured she could stay here."

She was irked by the derogatory name but was too perplexed by the situation unfolding to scold him. "Katsuki, who is this girl?" She questioned, a pensive brow resting against her features. She must have answered her own inquiry though because the next thing you knew her face lit up. "Katsuki, is this your girlfriend!?"

In just a snap you felt a sudden warmth rush to your cheeks. "Girlfriend...?"

"SEE!? THIS IS WHY I DIDN'T WANT THEM TO SEE YOU." Bakugou's scowl returned with a surprising blush.

The lady's eyes welled up with tears as she squealed with joy. "THANK GOD, HE HAS A GIRLFRIEND! WE WERE SO AFRAID HE WAS GONNA END UP ALONE BECAUSE HE'S SUCH A LITTLE SHIT!"

"EXCUSE ME, THE FUCK!?"

"MASARU!" She called into the house. "YOU HAVE TO COME DOWN HERE!!"

"GODDAMNIT."

Not long after another person joined your party. He was an older looking man with the same wild hair as Katsuki's except he was a brunette. "What's all the commotion, dear?" The polite man asked. "Who's this?"

"Katsuki's girlfriend!"

The man looked bewildered at the news. "G-girlfriend? Katsuki has a girlfriend?"

"DAMN IT, NO. DO YOU TWO EVEN LISTEN!?"

Everything was just unraveling so fast you couldn't keep up. Before you knew it you were shaking hands with both of the adults. "I'm Mitsuki, his mother!" She smiled broadly as her grip threatened to shake you like rag doll. "This is my husband, Masaru!"

His father smiled softly and took your hand. "A pleasure to meet you, Miss...?"

"(l/n), (l/n) (y/n)," You replied. You wanted to clear the air but his mother was on a roll and you couldn't bring yourself to interject.

"(l/n) (y/n)! Such a beautiful name! Can I call you, (y/n)? OH and you are just so gorgeous! How did my son manage to snare such a lovely and well-mannered lady! When you were defending him back there I was speechless! I have never heard anyone stand up for my Katsuki like that!" Mitsuki prattled on. "Have you ever considered modeling?"

"ALRIGHT, WILL YOU SHUT UP ALREADY!?" Bakugou finally stepped in. "SHE'S A FRIEND, SO WILL YOU TWO QUIT BEING SO DAMN ANNOYING!?"

Mitsuki's thrilled engagement stopped all of sudden and she was back to screaming at her son. "HAH? AND YOU DECIDED TO TELL US THIS NOW!? WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU? SHE MUST BE SO UNCOMFORTABLE!"

"MAYBE YOU WOULD HAVE HEARD ME SOONER IF YOU'D SHUT YOUR DAMN MOUTH FOR A SECOND," Katsuki seethed.

"There, there, dear, everything's alright. See? It was all just a misunderstanding." Masaru attempted to cool down his wife.

Mitsuki groaned and smacked her palm to her forehead. "More like a disappoint! Our son is gonna die alone." Katsuki's eyes flared along with a few crackling flames in his hands.

"But anyway, darling, you are more than welcome to spend the night in our home," Mitsuki smiled warmly. "As much as we'd love for our Katsuki to have a significant other we still very much appreciate that you two are friends! I can tell already tell you'll be a delight to have around!"

"KATSUKI! Don't be rude, carry her things upstairs! She'll be taking your room and you can sleep on the couch. Show her around and once she's settled in you two can come down for dinner," His mother barked. "Oh I wish you'd have told me we were going to have company! I would have prepared something special."

You knew she was only trying to be nice but you didn't want her to be stretching herself thin over your stay. "Please, Mrs. Bakugou, don't exert yourself on my account. I'm just grateful for your hospitality."

"Nonsense! You're our guest! And call me Mitsuki!"

She then dismissed herself as she and Masaru returned back into the depths of the house. And then there was just you and Katsuki.

He looked to have regained his composure but there remained a slight tick of irritation left on his face. He caught your duffel in his grasp and swung it on his shoulder. "You just gonna stand there gawking or are you coming?"

You nodded briskly and followed him up the steps. "Sorry, I was just uh...caught in the moment," You murmured. "Your parents are really nice...and enthusiastic."

"Yeah well you didn't fuckin' help when you said I was trying to force you in here," Bakugou retorted venomously.

"It was joke! I didn't think it would escalate that far. And besides I apologized for it."

He rolled his eyes just as you two were arriving to a door at the end of a hallway. All seemed normal until Katsuki froze as he reached for the doorknob. "Actually you know what? You owe me. You're sleeping downstairs after you made my parents think you're my girlfriend."

"What!? I did no such thing! They came to that conclusion on their own!" You scoffed.

"But that wouldn't have happened if you had listened to me when I said we needed to sneak in!"

"I can't believe you!" You glared at him in the dimly lit corridor. His expression bore stubbornness but there was something behind his eyes that made you unsure. The little emotion he was hiding had suddenly appeared when you two were going to cross the threshold into his room.

You cocked your head at him in question. "This wouldn't happen to be about something inside, would it?"

You caught him off guard as his eye twitched. "The fuck? Why would it ever be about that?"

"You shy to show me your room, Kacchan?" You smiled devilishly.

"Watch it, glow stick."

"Well then what are you worried about?" You inquired, your tone as slick and nonchalant as possible. He started sweating nervously as you neared the door. "You ever heard of privacy, you shitty brat?" He hissed and blocked your way.

"Katsu~." Your lips pursed as you toyed with him. You placed a hand on his chest and pushed him up against the door with a soft thud. "What do you have to hide?" Your voice came out like velvet making the male take in a deep breath. He stared back into your mischievous (e/c) eyes paralyzed by your titillating gaze.

Your finger reached up to curve the line of his jaw which had tensed since your interrogation began. Katsuki, never one to stay frozen, was about to retaliate your boldness with his when he finally came to his senses. But it was too late, his defense had dropped giving you the perfect opportunity to catch the doorknob behind him and toss it open with a twist.

Your eyes were the size of dinner plates upon seeing the shining spectacle inside. The room was glowing wall to wall with posters of the one and only Symbol of Peace, All Might. The more you searched the more items you found of the hero too. You spotted a couple figurines, keychains, and just about every other trinket in the book.

You were still taking in everything when Katsuki slammed the door in your face. "THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING, SHITTY BRAT!?" The male bellowed although it was obvious he was trying to hide his embarrassment.

"Oh come on, Katsuki! I saw everything already you can't get mad now!" You rolled your eyes. "I wasn't aware you like All Might so much."

"WELL HE'S GOOD AT WHAT HE DOES WHY WOULDN'T I?"

You grinned playfully. "Will you relax? I'm not making fun of you. I just think it's cute is all."

He practically was searing holes into your skull. "First of all, I ain't cute and second, I told you to fuck off! You're not allowed up here!"

"Aaaactually," You drawled out, "I am, remember? Your mama said I'm sleeping in your room tonight." You tapped him on his nose and slid around him to re-open the All Might shrine room. You walked in, your eyes still surveying every nook and cranny. There was just so much for your eyes to take in you were overwhelmed.

You plopped onto his bed which was surprisingly not All Might themed and sat back. "Why are you so flustered about this? I've got some hero merch too. It's not a big deal."

Katsuki scoffed and sluggishly paced his room. "Some would think this is excessive."

"You admire the dude don't you? Hell, I don't think I've ever met anyone who hasn't. The guy's an all around goliath who doesn't have his head in his ass. He's the truest hero we've seen in a long time. Even I am motivated by his selflessness and power," You defended, patting the spot beside you. The blond let out a frustrated groan but nevertheless sat down.

"So while yes I do think this is incredibly adorable, I also see that you are really inspired by All Might," You smiled. "With a role model like him you're bound to be a great hero yourself right?"

Katsuki sent you a ticked glance, but somehow his cheeks appeared warmer than they were before. "What do I look like a psychic?"

Your encouraging expression dropped and was replaced by one of annoyance. "You really are thick-headed huh?"

"Quit your shit, glow stick." He flicked your nose causing you to pout and soothe your pain. "Now are you done? The old hag isn't patient."

You sighed and reached for your bag which Katsuki had placed on the bed. "Is it okay if I take a shower before heading downstairs? I feel all sticky from the humidity at practice."

"Whatever, just hurry. Those old crones are gonna grind me for information while you're gone."

You gave him a salute as you compiled your necessities into your arms. "I'm sure you can hold out, captain." You earned a hiss disapproval from the blond but nevertheless his annoyance didn't hinder the fact that he was still generous enough to show you to the bathroom.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You made sure to keep your end of the bargain and kept the bath rather short, though it was difficult because you did enjoy a nice steamy shower. After slipping on a pair of shorts and a tank top you wrung out as much water from your hair as you could and made your way downstairs.
You were thinking about how disorderly you must be looking in that moment as you peeked into the kitchen. The first thing you saw was Mitsuki angrily placing in pieces of beef into bowls of rice while she scolded Katsuki for something you weren't present for. The blond himself was looking rather enraged but held his tongue.
That's when you noticed his father sitting at the table with a newspaper in hand. "Ah (l/n), you're back. I hope you found everything alright," Masaru greeted kindly.
"(l/n)?" Mitsuki spun around immediately at the mention. "Come on in! Katsuki, I thought I told you to set up the table! Grab any seat you'd like, (y/n), we're just getting started!"
You nodded in appreciation and positioned yourself at the far end of the table leaving an open chair to your right. After all the silverware was put out and Mitsuki set down the dinner you all gave your thanks and dug into the meal.
The food was just as amazing as it appeared. Your mother, when she wasn't away, would often cook but it was never anything as full course as this. Your stomach was gladly thanking you for the deliciousness when Mitsuki spoke.
"So (y/n), how did you and this lil shit meet?"
"I thought we were eating, not playing 21 questions," Bakugo snipped from beside you.
"Well we kinda got into a misunderstanding at school and then we just started talking," You shrugged nicely.
"I couldn't imagine what kind of a misunderstanding it was that lead to you two to becoming close," Masaru chuckled.
You smiled and let out a laugh, recalling the incident. "It was rather odd."
"And I take it you're aiming for a hero career too, just like our Katsuki? Your quirk does look like it has some kick to it."
You frowned. Did she know about that? "My quirk?"
"Oh yeah, we saw you on the news a while ago and you look like you'll be a really strong hero," Mitsuki grinned. "I know that day was a little blown out of proportion, but you don't act as if you had mal-intent. Everyone goes through hiccups with their quirks, it's just a matter of fine tuning them."
For the first time you actually felt good after someone talked about that day. You felt like such a freak whenever anyone brought it up. For once someone was sympathetic to your plight.
"Thank you, Mrs. Bakugou."
She waved away your gesture. "Mitsuki, please. No need for formalities with us. You are Katsuki's friend and our guest."
"She got transferred into 1-A because of that," Bakugou said as he took a large bite from his utensil.
"Really? What class were you in before?" Masaru asked.
"1-B."
"Oh I love that! The school is so diligent with its students! I'm telling you that school was the best thing to happen for Katsuki."
"They are...thorough," You replied with a weak beam.
After a few more mouthfuls of chomping on food, Bakugou pushed out his chair and stood up. "Alright we're going, thanks again old lady." You were just finishing up as well when Bakugou nudged your arm for you to follow.
Mitsuki rolled her eyes with sigh. "Fine, just remember to get to bed, separately. Your father and I are going out grocery shopping early tomorrow."
You bowed slightly as you dismissed yourself. "Goodnight, Mrs.—er, I mean, Mitsuki."
She smiled as the two adults gave you a quick wave. "Goodnight, (y/n), it was lovely meeting you."
Your nervous grin didn't leave your face even as Katsuki pulled you out of the dining room. The two parents' eyes met with a look of approval once you two left.
"What nice girl," Mitsuki said. "She compliments him pretty well, huh?"
"And not once did Katsuki blow up like he usually does," Masaru nodded in agreement.
Bakugou's mother hummed to herself as she watched the spot you two were last together. "I like her, I really do.... Let's hope this dimwit doesn't ruin anything."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Your parents are cool," You said as Katsuki slid closed the glass door to the backyard. "So anywho, what are we doing out here?"

"I don't know, I just wanted to get away from those prying assholes," He growled, pacing back and forth with arms crossed. "Now as soon as you leave they're gonna be on my ass about you."

Mid huffy stomp he looked up to see you staring at the sky. He followed your wonderstruck eyes and noticed how clear of a night it was. The pollution of city lights made it difficult to enjoy nature's natural one, but surprisingly tonight was spotless with only millions glimmering stars to give any indication of life above. They twinkled brightly and he found himself wanting to smile at how the ones on your cheeks mimicked their dance.

"It's gorgeous," You finally breathed out with a laugh. "I don't think I've seen so many stars."

He gave a nod and came up next to you. "Good catch, Sherlock. So what you're just going to keep craning your neck until it snaps?"

"How else are you supposed to stargaze?" You chuckled as you glanced at him with a shake of your head.

"I've got an idea or two..."

"Is that right?" You teased but were struck with a gasp when he suddenly scooped you off your feet. "Katsuki, what the hell are you doing!?"

"Showing you a better way to look at some stupid stars, genius."

"Wha—" You were interrupted by an explosion detonating in his hand and your throat letting out a shrill shriek. Panic shot through your body as you were rocketed into the sky and you aimlessly reached for something to hold on to. Once you had, you unconsciously buried your head into his chest and squeezed for dear life. It wasn't long before you felt a thud beneath you.

You peeked out with an eye and found you were on solid footing now but your elevation had changed. "What the actual fuck, Katsuki?" You sighed profoundly, clinging onto his neck.

"You're fine, glowstick, quit being dramatic." You were about to shoot something back when you realized how close his face was. Your arms were still wrapped around him and the way he had landed had you sitting on his knee. You could feel your cheeks burning bright as you leaned back only to lose your balance and fall out of his hold.

Your first mistake.

You tumbled backwards on his angled rooftop and would have probably slipped off if Katsuki's quick reflexes hadn't caught your arm in time. You were on your back barely grinding your feet to a halt as the blond snatched you up. You were in shock by how easily he was able to pull you up.

"Can you be any clumsier?" He chastised, keep a hand at your back in case you decided to fall again.

"How about a warning next time?" You retorted with a grumble. "What are we doing up here anyway?"

"You wanted to see some stars didn't you?"

"Yes, but..."

"But nothing. This beats your sore neck idea by a mile." Katsuki then carefully shifted down the slope of the roof and reached out for your hand. "Come on, or else you'll really break your neck."

You wanted to pout but he was right. You gave him your hand and with an alarmingly gentle touch, he helped you maneuver onto the side of the roof and on your back.

Your eyes were taking in the breathtaking lights above, but your mind was distracting you with the warm sensation of skin over your own. You bit your lip nervously, not sure if you should pull away when Katsuki squeezed your hand with his. "Probably smarter if you don't let go," He whispered. Your freckles were glowing pink from the contact but you nodded all the same.

The cool breeze of the night caressed your cold-sweating skin making you fully aware that summer was still in the air. You tore your gaze away from the sky and looked at him. "Do you do this often?"

"Stargaze? No, not really. There aren't any stars to begin with, how would I?"

You shrugged. "Well you brought me up here, I figured..."

"The only stars I see nowadays are the ones on your cheeks, night light," He smirked. "But my question is, why are you so enamored by these twinkly little shits when you've got perfectly good ones on your face?"

"They're not stars, Baku-butt, they're freckles. And I like stars, especially since we hardly get to see them because we fucked over the planet."

"As a kid my mom would take me to the park at night and tell me all about the constellations from a book we bought," You explained as you watched the orbs hovering above you. "And even if we couldn't see them, I'd pretend they were there so I could envision all their myths and stories coming to life."

Katsuki hummed. "Mmm, alright show me one."

This made you giggle. "I don't know if I can even remember them correctly."

"You're not dumb, I'm sure you've retained some kind of knowledge in there."

You sighed pensively, flitting your gaze over the moonlit night. "Hmm, then how about Scorpius? It was a giant scorpion created by Gaia sent to kill Orion."

"Damn, what did the guy do?"

"He was a hunter and he wanted to kill all the wild animals of the planet which obviously pissed off Gaia so she killed him."

"Brutal."

"It looks like a long, upside down 'T'," You said as you pointed to the string of stars. If Bakugou was being honest he had no idea what you were showing him but he nodded all the same. To him it all just looked like a bunch of glowing lights, but if it made you happy he would indulge in that joy.

"There's also the Hydra. That one just looks like along snake with a triangle head. You probably heard the story right?"

"Cut off one head, two more grow back?" Katsuki offered.

"That's it. The Hydra was one of Heracles 12 tasks. He killed it by severing each head and a buddy of his would sear the stumps so they couldn't grow anymore."

"That's pretty sick," the blond blinked in surprise. He could tell you were having fun enthusing about the different myths of each constellation and he himself found himself oddly fascinated by the strange stories.

"So Katsucky, what do you think about your partner?" You suddenly asked. "She's seems like a smart girl."

"Pink Cheeks? Yeah I guess she doesn't seem completely brainless. Not like Kaminari, Sero, Mina, and Kirishima who all share one brain cell."

You rolled your eyes and shook your head. "Oh come on, they aren't that bad."

"You haven't been in class long enough," Katsuki remarked. "What about that icy hot bastard? You got saddled with him didn't you?"

"Oh he's as intelligent as they come. Honestly, I have no complaints. We practically have this project in the bag," You grinned. "Although he is a bit quiet, but maybe that's just 'cause I don't know him too well."

"Don't get your hopes up, that asshole's always been like that."

"Ah and there you go taking everything at face value," You grumbled with a sigh. "If you live life like that everyone's gonna seem like an asshole. Is that what you thought of me when we first met?"

You turned to meet his eyes which were studying you curiously. The small frown on his brow made him look oddly attractive. "You were a hard nut to crack. I didn't know if you were being a bitch or just a dumbass with a death wish. Either way, you didn't turn out how I expected."

A toothy beam spread across your face. "Aw Bakugou, you going soft on me?"

His quizzical expression dropped in a snap and next he was peering at you with a glare. "Now I see that you're just a brat who loves to get on people's nerves."

"Hey!"

You pinched the skin of his hand which was still in your hold making him hiss in anger. "Well you're no stand up citizen either."

"What the hell does that mean?"

"It means you came off as a complete asshat when we first met!" You retorted. "You were so infuriating, and narcissistic, and pig-headed...!" You breathed in your steam and released once you'd calmed down. You then rested your cheek on the rough tiling of the roof, not breaking eye contact with the blond. "But ultimately, you weren't as bad as people said. You can still be conceited and high and mighty sometimes, but I know you do it 'cause you're confident in your abilities. You're so sure in yourself and most people our age don't have that."

You hummed to yourself as you shifted your gaze back to the night sky. "It's something I admire and also hate about you." Even though you had just served a backhanded compliment your tone did not reflect that at all. You were sure your face could catch fire at any moment while Katsuki was strangely taking pride in your words. All of a sudden he was more aware of how soft your palm was against the rough callousness of his skin.

"Why don't you tell me some more of you constellation stories, huh?" For some unknown reason you thought you could hear your heartbeat in your ears as his grip gently tightened around yours.

"Yeah...sure."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"There's a big dipper and a little dipper, but I don't see them right now."
Katsuki was trying for the millionth time to see what the hell you were talking about. He searched and connected the stars in his mind but he could never envision what you were describing the symbols to be.
"I'm gonna be honest with you, night light, I have no fucking idea what I'm looking at," He admitted, still peering into the night. He heard you murmur something but it was unintelligible to him. He glanced over to see what was up and found that you had knocked out against his arm.
To be fair, you didn't look completely asleep but very close to it. Your eyelids were heavy and threatening to shut.
"You're done for tonight, aren't you? Alright then, glow stick, let's go inside." Bakugou shook his head and sat up. You were immediately jostled from your mid-snooze and rubbed your eyes with a yawn. "Mm? You wanna go to bed?"
"I think you need it more than I do, stupid."
You didn't argue as he instructed to get on his back. You grumbled to yourself in fear as you wrapped your arms around his neck and hung on firmly. You were instantly hit with a strong scent of smoke and sweet sugar which somehow filled your chest with comfort. You placed your cheek against his back feeling the tone, brawn muscles shift as they lifted you up.
You squeezed your eyes shut as Katsuki hopped off the roof sending your stomach to your throat. But it didn't last long as a pair of crackling explosions caught your fall. Before you knew it you were back on his lush backyard with a quick thump.
"Alright you're alive, get off."
The sensible thing was probably to do just that, but your body refused. "No,"
You pouted, cuddling into him further.
"What!? I will drop you, brat."
"Pretty pleeeaaase?"
"Your ass will be on the ground in three seconds if you don't—"
You hugged him tighter with a broad grin. "Come on, Katsuuuu, pleeeeeaaaasssseeee?"
A look of annoyance crossed his face, but he didn't actually seem bothered. He growled to himself and adjusted your torso to his. "I'm gonna be here all night... fine. You fuckin' shit stick."
You beamed triumphantly as Katsuki walked you both back into the dimly lit house. He carried you up the stairs with such ease you wondered why you didn't make him do this more often. Finally, you reached his bedroom which he kicked open and wasted no time in throwing you onto the bed.
"You fucking little shit," He glared at you.
"Oh come on, I wasn't too heavy for you was I?"
"No, you're a goddamn leaf compared to what I usually lift but still, I ain't your fucking servant."
You rolled your eyes and plopped your head onto his pillow with a heavy sigh. "Oh Kacchan..." You smirked teasingly. "I guess this is it right?"
"Yeah, just don't touch my things or I will burn your fingers to a crisp," He warned, grabbing a few items as he got ready to leave.
As much as you wanted to poke fun at him, your mind was just too tired to retaliate. You gave in to a yawn and crawled under the covers.
Bakugou was on his way out the door when you suddenly spoke. "Katsuki?"
He glanced up in question. "Yeah?"
"Sweet dreams," You muttered warmly, enveloping yourself in the soft comforter and let out small sigh.
The blond watched as your breathing came to a slow and you were safe and snuggled in your sleep. He chuckled quietly and flicked the lights off; your freckles faintly shimmered in the dark. "Sweet dreams, glow stick."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~[?]~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

She felt her burning throat closing with every pant; her legs shaking with every stride. She knew her weak knees would give out on her soon and yet she still clung onto the hope that she would reach sanctuary. What little scraps she had scavenged from the morning were rising from her stomach like a mushy acid.

She could sense her last second coming to a halt as she made a turn into a dark alley but not before being clipped by a dangerously circular piece of metal. The disc sliced her ankle drawing a deep gash of blood. She cried out in pain as she slammed onto the concrete, fluids leaking from her mouth from the rawness of her throat.

She then felt a foot crash into her spine and a hand reach for her hair yanking it back. She screamed in fear. "You fucking bitch! You really thought you could get away?" The man above hissed in her ear. "You're just a quirkless little cunt. No one would care if you just dropped dead."

The man grinned as his hand produced another metal disc. This time he held it to her neck. "In fact, we'll be doing our species a favor getting rid of all the vermin right boys?" The other two males behind him nodded, beaming from ear to ear.

"But why don't we have a little fun before that huh? Besides, I don't think anyone would want to touch a quirkless bitch like you."

"H-H-help..." The girl croaked as loudly as she could, but her voice was shot.

"Shut her up."

She felt a boot stomp onto her head, grinding her cheek into the pavement. Then one of the other males reached down wiped his hand over her mouth. She tried to cry out again but she found that her voice was no longer with her.

She struggled and squirmed but the two other males roughly jammed their shoes into her wrists, her mouth moved but produced no any sound. Heavy tears ran down her eyes as the main man began to claw at her clothing.

The girl felt like she was spiraling. She closed her eyes in hopes to block out the scene and praying she'd survive it. Or by some miracle her nonexistent quirk would show up.

Her lungs were shutting down, hyperventilating—

All of sudden there was a wave of freezing air blasting from the opening of the alley. The girl's eyes went wide as she thought she saw snowflakes cascading to the ground.

But in a split second the males holding her arms screamed and she saw as the thick layer of ice encased their entire bodies. The man pulling her hair threw her aside to stare at the cause of his fallen comrades. He didn't get a chance to react however as spear of ice was sent flying and impaled him directly through the chest. The surprise in his eyes died with him as he slowly slumped over motionless.

The girl gasped as her voice returned and she crawled backwards, her back hitting the brick wall. She trembled in fright as the figure loomed closer and closer.

The person now stood in front of them deadly silent. From the dim light, she could tell it was a female and young one at that. She could be her age.

She held her aching wrists close to her chest as the girl leaned down, an odd smile crossing her lips. "You don't have a quirk do you?"

She shook her head, visibly confused and distraught.

The unknown being's beam grew broader, revealing the flickering lights on her face. She then extended her hand towards the injured girl. "I can fix that."

Holy shit this was 20 pages. Crazy how it gets like that and I don't even notice. Anywho, in celebration of spooky season I wanted to make a cute little short story for the next chapter. It won't be connected to the main storyline but I thought it'd be fun to do and it would help lighten the mood.

Or I can give the option of just continuing the story. But I will say my Halloween idea does involve a demon Bakugou and a possessed (y/n).

 I'll leave it up to your guys' vote! Happy reading! :D
