Today was the day. It seemed like all the first years were buzzing about the joint mock exam between Class 1-A and 1-B. You personally couldn't sleep last night wondering what could happen following day. Nonetheless, dawn fell upon the city and UA students awakened with baited breath.

Itsuka and Ibara got to school before you did and unfortunately, they caught a glimpse of the harassment you had been getting recently.

"(l/n)!" Itsuka exclaimed once you arrived. She and Ibara were standing over your newly vandalized desk. "What is this?"

"It's nothing," You huffed to mask your embarrassment. "Probably someone who wanted to annoy me."

"This is serious, (l/n)! You're being bullied, and you didn't tell us? This can get out of hand if you leave it be," Ibara said firmly.

"I'm fine! You think I give a shit what anyone has to say?" You felt your eyes wanting to water, but you pushed it back. "Just drop it, I can take care of this."

"(l/n)..." Itsuka's expression turned to hurt. "You don't have to do this alone. Me, Ibara.... Bakugou, Kirishima, and Kaminari, we're all your friends, aren't we? We just want to help..."

"Who is it? Who's been doing this to you?" Ibara questioned.

You sighed. You were being overwhelmed by everything and had no time to process. "Just stop. I'm fine. Please, leave me alone."

Itsuka shook her head. "(l/n), we can't do that. We can't stand by and-"

"Alright, everyone we're suiting up! Go to your locker rooms and meet me outside in the training yard," Sekijirou announced in a booming voice as soon as he stepped in. You were glad he interrupted as you avoided the girls' eyes and sped out of the classroom.

You did as you were instructed and slipped on your custom made hero suit. This was your first time actually wearing it since the company that produced it had some trouble adjusting certain things. The designer working on the project personally reached out to you stating that he loved your quirk and wanted your debut as a hero to be absolutely perfect, right down to the outfit.

So he spent the entire summer and a month or 2 of the beginning of the school year to make sure your costume was exactly what he envisioned. He sent you several designs that were each great in their own way, but time and time again the artist was not satisfied. Finally, he concluded his work with this masterpiece:

A/n: Tried my hand at designing the suit. Lol sorry if it's shitty.

A deep indigo colored spaghetti strap with a heart shaped neckline which curved at the bottom exposing your hips. Within the indigo lie several twinkling colorful stars resembling a vast galaxy trimmed with molten gold. The back of the shirt was open as well, coming down to a v-shape at the base. Below was a pair of black shorts also lined with gold and consisted of a few baggy pockets.

For footwear, you were given long indigo socks that went to your upper thigh and were marked with a gold 'x' and with single band beneath it. The black boots were tall as well going past your knees and had three neon blue rhomboid shapes on the sides and at the feet.

On your hands were black fingerless gloves that wrapped around your wrist and faded back to indigo as they went past your three golden ringed elbows. Your upper left arm also had a black band of neon blue diamonds. The best part about the hand accessories, however were the brass knuckles attached to the gloves.

Lastly was the simple dark choker with two circular dots on the edge. Nothing flashy, but completed the look nonetheless.

The array of clothing was a tight fit, but they didn't hold you back physically. It was probably so the suit wouldn't lose functionality; and although so much skin exposure made you a bit self conscious it was necessary as your quirk required sunlight to power you.

You hurriedly painted on smoky blue eye and styled your hair to your liking before heading out to the field with everyone else.

"Aw man this is gonna be so much fun!" Kirishima cheered joyfully as Class 1-A were on their way to the training grounds. "Do you think (l/n) is here today? We didn't see her at breakfast."

Bakugou glanced down at his phone. He had sent you a message this morning asking where you were but you had yet to respond. "How should I know, shitty hair?"

"Well, aren't you guys kinda close?" Sero said.

"I guess they kind of are, but she's the same with us, no?" Kirishima replied.

Kaminari shook his head. "Not with me."

"Nor me," added Sero.

The red head frowned. "Oh...well she's opened up to me sometimes."

This caught the ashy blonde's attention. "What do you mean?" Did you tell him about that weird thing you had seen that night?

"Ah, nothing major. Just personal issues," Kiri shrugged.

Bakugou's curiosity still wasn't fulfilled, but he couldn't inquire further because Aizawa and All Might began rounding them up on the field. Class 1-B stood at a distance away from them when Eraser Head started lecturing.

"Alright, the rules of this mock exam are easy. Complete them and you'll pass," He said. "This time around you'll be allowed to use your quirks. We don't want everyone heavily injured so keep your powers steady and don't kill each other. I'm sure Recovery Girl would be at our backs if we sent bus loads of kids down to her office."

Sekijirou continued on. "The goal for today is to fight two students you previously had not battled before, one from 1-A and one from 1-B. You all will be examined based on skill, strategy, and overall execution. So don't think you can sit this one out."

"But most importantly!" All Might joined in with his classic grin. "Remember to give it your all and have fun! Go beyond, Plus Ultra!" Hearing the symbol of peace's mountainous and inspiring voice renewed the spirits of the students who chanted the motto along with him.

You couldn't believe All Might was there. You weren't an adoring fan, but the man was truly legendary. You respected his craft and what he stood for.

You were still starstruck by the hero's presence that you didn't notice the figure coming up in the corner of your eye.

"(l/n)?" The shocked voice burst you out of your daze. You glanced over to see a familiar set of spiky blonde hair wrapped up in a formfitting black muscle shirt bearing an orange 'x' across his chest. One look at him set your face ablaze. "Bakugou?" You gasped.

You both were staring at each other dumbfounded.

Fuck, s/he looks hot.

Even when you met Bakugou you always thought that he was a good-looking guy. He may be angry and scowling all the time, but that didn't take away from his looks. Now that intensity seemed to be off the charts because you couldn't take your eyes off him.

Aside from the tank that made his shoulders and his pecs look so incredibly muscular, he wore a pair of baggy pants and steel kneepads. On his arms, were these huge gauntlets shaped like grenades.

The silence between you two weighed heavily before you could find any words to speak. "U-um, hi," Your voice flittered unnaturally.

Bakugou was in the same boat as you. Never in his life had he seen you in something so revealing. Perhaps maybe once when he stayed over at your house and you wore some short pajamas, but even then that wasn't so...tight.

He physically had to stop his gaze from wandering. Did you always have such a full figure?

"Hi," Bakugou replied tensely. The teen was glad when his friends came over to interrupt because he wasn't sure how much longer he could keep up his cool demeanor.

"(l/n)!? Oh my god, bitch, you lookin' fine as fuck!" Mina hollered as she ran up to you. You crossed your arms self-consciously and chuckled. "Haha, thanks." Your eyes roamed over all of them, inspecting their costumes. Kirishima certainly had quite the open suit. Not that you were complaining about it, not at all.

"Is that really (l/n)?" Kaminari said with a whistle. The red head was also in awe, cheeks tinged pink.

"I think this is the first we've seen you in your hero costume," Sero mentioned. "Come to think of it, I don't think we've seen your quirk either."

"Aw man in that case let me take you on!" Kaminari grinned, tapping his radio earpiece. "Let's see if you can handle me!"

Bakugou finally stepped in and flicked the golden blonde in the forehead. "You're supposed to be fighting other people, ya idiot. You'd know that if you paid attention."

"Plus," You tsked teasingly, "I don't wanna hurt you." This earned you several hoots of laughter from the others.

"That sounds like a challenge," Kaminari smirked.

"Try me, Pikachu."

In the middle of your banter, you felt a hand touch your thigh. You immediately turned around and found a short boy with a strange head of purple balls. His face was wide with an unsettling smile.

"Hi..."

You frowned, but tried to remain polite. "Uh, hi."

"Mineta? What are you doing here?" Sero questioned, removing his helmet and placing it at his side.

"I'm here to ask if this girl will be my opponent for today," the boy said, his eyes not leaving you. His stare was making you quite uncomfortable.

"Mineta, you scum, quit ogling her!" Mina defended as she put an arm in front of you.

"I haven't heard a 'no' yet."

Kirishima furrowed his eyebrows. "Look, man, she's not interested. Back off."

"Who is this?" You inquired, surprised by their hostility yet still understanding why. This munchkin was a creep.

"It's Mineta, he's the class perve," Sero explained.

"It's nice to meet you," Grape boy's grin grew as he stepped closer to you. "Your skin looks so soft and your suit hugs all the right places-"

Before he could get to you however, Bakugou swiftly caught him by the back of his purple suit and lifted him off the ground. His ruby eyes bore into Mineta's with a menacing rage as terrifying as his snarl. "Listen here you shit-faced, pig fucking grape bitch, get the fuck out of here or I'm gonna burn off that pinky you call a dick so you'll be stuck walking around like the fucking troll you are."

Mineta looked like he was about to pee himself. He was shaking uncontrollably, scrambling to get away as he spiraled further into fear. "AAAAHHH! OKAY, OKAY! I'M SORRY, JUST LET ME GO! I PROMISE I WONT BOTHER HER AGAIN!"

Your eyes went wide. Bakugou truly had a vicious tongue and the temper to boot. You were speechless and clueless as to how to respond.

"A-alright, Bakugou, I think we've made our point. You can let him go now," Kirishima said, trying to break the two apart. The ash blonde glanced between you and Mineta. Begrudgingly, he removed his grasp on him only for the grape to then quickly run away screaming.

"That was um," You began to speak once you found your voice, "uh...thank you, I guess."

Bakugou scoffed, crossing his arms. "Don't. I didn't do it for you. The little shit's annoying as hell."

Mina rolled her eyes. "Can't you just take a compliment?"

Your spirits were in a much better mood in that moment until a familiar voice laughed hysterically within earshot. Your lips tightened into a thin line. "Hahahaha! WOW! What a display! You even got them picking fights for you! You must have kissed a lot of ass to get where you've gotten," Monoma sneered from a few feet away.

"What the fuck is he talking about?" Bakugou growled. He started gaining on him but you stopped him with an outstretched arm. "It's nothing. We should be going anyway. This practice is worth our grade."

He looked at you with skepticism but it was true. Time was limited.

With a gruff sigh of resignation, Bakugou threw his hands at his sides and marched off. "Fine."

You said goodbye to the others and waded through the sea of students looking for a partner. You finally landed on a girl with a short bob of brown hair and a black and pink body suit.

She introduced herself as Uraraka before the beginning of the battle. Based on her costume, you guessed her power had something to do with space; and you were correct as her quirk levitated a chunk of earth at you.

You sidestepped the attack, evading it by mere inches. But the girl was ready with another rock which she launched when you kept pursuing her. "How..?" She gasped in shock. "Not once have you used your quirk."

You wrenched your arm back and punched through the incoming object with the brass surrounding your knuckles. The rock crumbled at your feet. "Gotta conserve energy," You grinned smugly. "Otherwise, I'd end up like you, driving myself through hell just for one hit."

Uraraka pursed her lips. "You should worry about yourself!"

You guessed she was keeping her distance because of the last time the classes were together. You had fought Todoroki, someone who you later found out was one of the best in 1-A combat-wise, and Bakugou, the vengeful psychopath who you could stare right in the face without flinching. It went to show that you weren't someone to be taken lightly.

Uraraka, however, gave up her defense strategy and opted for a full frontal assault. She dashed forward her palm open like a claw. You still weren't sure exactly what her quirk was so you assumed she was about to manipulate the earth beneath you to catch you by surprise. But to your astonishment, you remained grounded.

You two ended up clashing hard, your shoulders ramming into each other. Just when you predicted you two would tumble something else happened. Your body became weightless. You gasped as all you felt was Uraraka's grip on your arms. Realization dawned on you.

Her quirk wasn't earth manipulation.

It was Gravity.

The short girl yelled as she tossed you behind her and slammed your back against the dirt with a sick thud. The impact knocked the air out of your lungs like a bat to a baseball. But it didn't stop there. No, your body was still defying physics so Uraraka wasted no time in pinning you.

She got a couple good punches in before you caught her fist and struck her with a pounding right cross. You threw her off of you but immediately after you lost your anchor and began floating once again. Not letting it deter you however, you activated your quirk for the first time.

Your hands tingled in that familiar way as they began to bathe in a deep purple light. Perhaps it was time to get serious, no more messing around.

The gloves you wore increased the intensity of the blinding beams shooting out from your palms while you rocketed yourself into Uraraka. You lifted her off the floor and kicked her side, tossing her a few feet away. While she was down you tried thinking of a way to stop yourself from hovering.

Your wish came a little early though because Uraraka pressed her fingertips together just as you had wandered 12 feet off the ground. "RELEASE!" Gravity returned to you instantly, sending you flailing back to the earth.

You blasted out a strong emission of matter before you could spatter on the dirt, effectively catching your fall. You swiftly landed on a knee unscathed. "You're good," You complimented with a cough. "But I know your quirk now. It won't be so easy fooling me anymore."

The round faced girl smiled proudly. "I know, but I won't give up. You don't hold back either!" She ran towards you with the same hand as before but you already knew what to expect. You caught her wrist in one quick motion and with the other hand you set off burning spark to hurl her away.

Uraraka cried out as she was flipped sporadically onto the ground. It took her a moment to get up from that one. "I won't be gotten rid of that easily!" She groaned with determination, her limbs trembling as she tried to rise.

"Great, I was just getting started," You winked. You threw your hands to your sides igniting the flaming white matter of your quirk and began gaining on her.

Her stance was shaky, big mistake. You launched yourself in the air and brought your foot down on Uraraka's rather weak form. She may not have anticipated this, however that didn't mean she'd take it quietly. The short girl received the brunt of the attack to her forearms but was able to catch your ankle with her hand.

You lost your body mass and were swung onto the floor with your shoulder aimed first. You hissed at the bruising pain and scolded yourself for not being more careful. Uraraka was formidable, but a little unpolished.

You saw that as she clambered onto you again and attempted to strike. Your temper was getting to you though. You quickly jolted up slamming your head into hers. The round faced girl yelped and gripped her head giving you an opening to push her down and place your hands right next to her head. You shot two beams of light through the ground as a warning.

"You made a good effort," You panted slightly, "But so much as move again and I'll blast you right here and now." You positioned an open palm centimeters away from her face.

The girl's eyes were wide in alarm as she nodded rapidly.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bakugou had just finished up his win against Kirishima when he absentmindedly glanced around the field.
Everyone was locked in battles with one another throwing weak kicks and punches and generally doing a flimsy job at fighting. He guessed it was because the teachers had warned them about being cautious but he wasn't going to half-ass this exam. He'd deal with their bitching at him later.
The blonde was going to go back to wandering when a certain duo caught his eye. On the outskirts of the grassy plane, two girls were duking it out with their fists drawn and no remorse. He recognized both the gals as you and Uraraka but was surprised by how well the fight was going on between you two.
Even though he had no previous knowledge on your quirk he didn't doubt your abilities. You were holding your own against the bobbed brunette without using your quirk yet as far as he could tell.
"Whoa, is that (l/n) and Uraraka?" Kirishima said in awe once he got up. "Just look at (l/n) go. She makes it seem easy."
He may have spoken too soon because the next thing they knew you were floating off the ground. Bakugou scrunched his eyebrows together as if that would help you somehow win the battle. For some reason, he was really rooting for you in this.
His concern diminished though as your hands ignited with a white streak of light. You were soaring above round cheeks like a comet and ran into her for another attack. The fight between you two was mesmerizing to watch, more so from your end. You both fought valiantly but it was obvious who had more strategy and skill. Bakugou was glad to see this side of you. He had to give you credit, you could seriously kick ass and look badass while doing it.
Just as the match came to an end and you were helping Uraraka up, a certain blue-eyed blonde waltzed over with a stupid smirk on his face.
"What happened? Couldn't find one of your fuck buddies to hand you a win?" Bakugou could just about make out what Monoma was saying. The ash blonde frowned upon what he heard. His footsteps started in your direction.
"What do you want, Monoma? Don't you have better things to do?" You retorted.
"Actually, I was looking for a fight. It seems you need someone to put you in your place, traitor."
You shot him a glare. "Fuck off, will you?"
"Make me, slut," Monoma snarled and pushed you by the shoulders.
Bakugou was on him in an instant shoving him so hard the copycat almost fell. "If you're lookin' to get your ass beat I'm right here, fucker!"
Monoma was caught off guard by his sudden appearance but his sick grin never left nonetheless. "God, I don't know who's worse, the raging asshole or the skank that follows him around." Bakugou was gonna punched the lights out of this fucking guy, if you hadn't blocked him.
"Don't! Nononono. " You intervened in front of him, keeping him at bay. "Just leave it alone, Bakugou! He's not worth it!"
"Yeah, listen to your little bitch, Bakugou! Just try and touch me and I'll kick your ass!"
The blonde grit his teeth. "SHUT THE FUCK!!"
Your spat was garnering awareness from the students and teachers around you. Kirishima and the others slowly started creeping in. "What the hell's going on?" Sero asked.
"Please help me," You gestured towards Bakugou, "He's gonna get himself expelled."
"You're nothing without these wild animals aren't you?" Monoma continued to rave. "You want to be just like them huh? Think that'll make you a better known hero? Might as well have just tattooed 'cum rag' on your forehead, it would give you the same amount of attention."
"SHUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH BEFORE I RIP OUT YOUR THROAT, YOU SON OF A BITCH!" Bakugou was livid. The most furious you had ever seen him. It scared you but you couldn't let him fuck up now because of you.
"Bakugou please listen-" He didn't let you finish as he tried to push past you. "BAKUGOU, STOP!"
"Fucking hell!" Kaminari cursed, jumping in to hold back his friend along with Kirishima, Sero, and Mina. Even with all of them, it was strenuous work to detain the explosive blonde. "Just let it go, man! This crazy fucker doesn't know what he's talking about! He's insane!" Kirishima hissed.
But Bakugou wasn't listening as far as you could tell. His eyes were narrowed on the copycat, breathing heavily through bared teeth like he would pounce at any moment.
You sighed stressfully. Your hands reached up to his collar, pulling him down to be at eye level with you. "Bakugou," Your voice was soothing but your anxiety was showing behind your eyes. "He is not worth a single one of those blasts by your hand. He is nothing. He is an idiot and you have to ignore him. Please." The blond stared at you for a couple seconds then glanced back at the smug bully.
"Do it for me," You begged. "Just drop all of this and do it for me....please."
You could tell he really wanted to kick this motherfucker's ass, but was finally coming to his senses. His eyes scrunched shut probably contemplating if he could get away with murder. Eventually, he decided against it and the tension in his body left.
"So, uh, are you okay now man?" Kiri questioned, still holding him by the arm like Sero and Kaminari.
"Fuck....I'm fine, get off me, losers," Bakugou growled, rolling his shoulders to shake them off. He then looked up at Monoma with a deadly glower. "And you, you're gonna get what's coming to you, fucker."
The copycat rolled his eyes. "Oh I'm so scared! You really showed me."
"Let's go," You said as you motioned Bakugou with a hand on his elbow and began walking away.
"You'll never be a hero, (l/n)," You heard Monoma's jeer carry on. "Just like your mother."
Your body suddenly went rigid and your pace halted. You turned around, rage washing over your features. "What the fuck did you just say?"
Monoma's face lit up realizing he had struck a chord. "Like whore mother like whore daughter. I should've known that's where you got it from."
You marched up to him, your eyes dark with wrath. "You keep her out of your goddamn mouth, do you understand me?" You barked ferociously. "Say what you want about me but watch your words about my mom! " You needed to walk away now or else you weren't sure what you would do to this idiot next.
Just as you were forcing yourself to leave, Monoma had to speak again.
"Why should I? It seems like she had a hard time keeping everyone else out of hers."
As soon as those words left his mouth, your tunnel of vision suddenly went black. The last thing you remembered was a searing hot sensation sweeping through your skin as your conscious shut off.
Hey guys! Sorry this one took a while to get out. I had a lot of information I wanted to get out in this chapter but I thought this would be a good stopping place before things finally go into motion. Now that school has started up for me again and I recently got a job, I'm gonna do my best to write as frequently as I can. I really want to finish this story and possibly make a sequel if things go well.
Hell, I've even been thinking about writing a one shot book for Bakugou 'cause I have so many scenarios I want to write. But I know I should focus on one thing at a time for now.
Thank you all so much for your patience and your kind words, it's really encouraging to hear from you guys. Hope you all enjoyed and I'll see you guys in the next chapter!
