"No, dolphins and sharks are not the same despite their constant mix up. How prejudiced of you!"

"WHY WOULD LASER DOLPHINS EVEN BE OUTSIDE OF A VILLAIN LAIR!?"

"YOU NEVER KNOW, BAKUGOU!"

You and Bakugou were on another one of your rants when Kaminari caught up to you two. "Funny running into you guys! Aren't you two going home?"

"I mean, if I could I would." You gestured to the overcrowded corridors. "Then again, I'm probably safest here at school."

Bakugou raised an eyebrow. "The hell is that supposed to mean?"

"Let's just say the area I live in isn't the nicest."

"Oh yeah, I noticed you and I go about the same way. Wanna walk home together?" Kaminari offered with a charming smile.

Seeing no repercussions, you shrugged in agreement. "Sure." You had glanced at the clock on your phone when Kaminari peered over your shoulder. "Hey, nice phone! Can I see what model it is?"

He tried reaching for it but you swatted away his hand. "Back off, slut. You're the one who fried my other phone in the first place."

"Aw, what! That's harsh!"

You guys had reached the heavy metal gate. "I'll see you tomorrow, Bakugou." You waved goodbye and headed off with Kaminari.

Katsuki muttered a 'see you' but felt oddly complicated as you left with the golden blond.

It was around 4 PM when you got a text from Bakugou.

Loud Mouth: Are you home?

Brat: Yeah? Why?

You know, Kaminari is nice and all but he kinda talks a lot

Brat: I can't do that

You sighed deeply and let yourself fall on the bed. Curse your kind nature!

You didn't know what you would do, but you'd find something. Maybe you'd just have to get used to walking home with him. Maybe he'd become bearable?

That still sounded like a huge hassle. You pushed the problem to the back of your mind for the time being and began focusing on the homework you had.

The next afternoon you tried to rush out of class to avoid Kaminari. Of course, the bustling masses of students made it more difficult. However, you managed to sneak around the students undetected to your delight.

You were one step away from freedom when an all too familiar voice called out to you.

"(l/n)! Hey wait up!"

You thought to pretend like you didn't hear him, but it was kinda already too late for that because you had frozen when he had yelled. You internally groaned and turned around.

But to your astonishment, Bakugou had interevened.

"Fuck off, Dunce Face, she doesn't wanna go home with you," He said, pulling back the blond flirt. He stepped towards you with an expressionless demeanor. "We going or what?"

You blinked. "Uh, y-yeah, sure."

"Sorry Kaminari!" You apologized meekly as you left the disappointed boy.

"Don't fuckin' apologize! I thought you didn't want him following you around," Bakugou remarked.

You shrugged. "I guess that's true. But um, I have a question."

"What?"

"I thought you said you weren't going to help me."

The ash blond glanced at you with piercing eyes. "That's not a question, that's a statement," He replied, turning away.

You figured this was probably his way of warning you not to pry on the details. You let out a sigh. "Well thanks anyway..... You know, the coast is clear. You can go home if you want. Don't you live in the opposite direction?"

"I'm already on my way there so what's the point? I'll just take you home then leave."

A half smile made its way to your lips. "Hmm, okay."

"BUT THIS IS THE ONLY TIME THIS IS HAPPENING."

After that day, Bakugou started walking home with you.
