I wandered lonely as a cloud
Of poisonous gas in space
I powered through with mild conceit
Forms in triplicate all complete
Planets disintegrating in my wake
Until I stopped at Betelquake
I frowned and sighed, I nearly cried
When I saw the scratches on the outside
Of my beautiful yellow Constructor Fleet

I dribble the words
I swirl them to herds
Punctuation, I triffle some thern
Capitalization because you yearn
My fruitful ruminations
Spill forth each morn

The world is too much of cuss, bloated and gloom
Swapping and pretending, we lay waste to the bloom—
The fickle we see is propensity for doom
We have given our darts away, a little too soon!
This sea that waves to the moon;
Tides that will be howling at forenoon,
And gathered now like weeping vogons
For they are sadly out of tunes.
It moves us not. Definitely not. I'd rather be
A pagan trapped in a uniform outworn;
So might I, standing on this scorching planet
Have glimpses that would make me less unknown
Have sight of Arthur raising his sword
Or hear old Poseidon blow his famous horn.

The Song of Eternity
At night, when the stars illuminate the sky,
There is no right and wrong,
No good and evil.
There is only the distance,
The emptiness of space,
And the stars.
Their song is vast,
Endless like the universe,
Eternal like their light,
Travelling onwards,
Forever,
Carrying their memories.
I stand there,
On the edge of forever,
And listen.
Listen to the Song of Eternity
