This issue goes a long way to prove the fact that we, as writers, like to play by our own rules, that it's wholly unlikely that if given the exact same prompt, two of us will ever write the same thing. Discuss.

I don't think there was ever any doubt that would be the case. Besides, if we all did write the same thing (or y'know, similar shit) then I'm pretty sure we wouldn't have reached the 46th issue of TK!

If you were flying solo on a cargo vessel several years into deep space, just like Armitage Shanks, what five items would you need to adequately pass the time?

It's fair to say I'd do everything possible to ensure the cargo vessel upon which I was flying solo would be carting cigarettes to some remote intergalactic outpost (because I'd totally run a mail order cigarette delivery service) so that's one thing I wouldn't have to worry about!

With that in mind... Caffeine, lots of caffeine, in whatever form I can get my hands on.

An enormous collection of rock and metal music, probably including Van Halen. Gotta' be able to get my mosh on every now and again.

I'm not entirely sure whether Netflix will be available that far out in deep space, but it'd better be.

Digitally stored literature.

And a towel, obviously...

In 'The Same Effing Story,' Armitage Shanks is named after a company renowned for making certain porcelain bathroom fixings. If you could be named after any real-life company, which company would that be, and why?

Red Bull. They've got their fingers in a whole lotta' pies...

Is this the kind of issue you'd like to see and be a part of again? Why?

It's definitely something I'd like to see TK do again, though it'd be interesting to have more writers involved. Double the amount, perhaps.

But whilst it's no doubt a pretty awesome issue I don't think it should be a regular thing. It's definitely an 'every now and then' kinda' issue.
