To a bunch of bored teens out in the dust, roaring engines and dares are a way of life. Set in an astrobilly/atompunk/1950s retrofuture, this short story introduces the world and characters in my upcoming trilogy, 'Solswept.'

 2. No murdering one another. Occasional maiming and righteous wounding exempt. 

 3. Never leave the door open. There's no telling what will sneak in.
