Late at night around 11:45 pm Sans watched Gaster go to bed, He must be finishing work early for today and then once the door shut Sans snuck down into the dark lab, "what where you really up to?" He asked quietly unlocking Gaster's office, immediately heading over to the cabinet and pulls out the files one by one skimming over each of them looking for key words that would stand out.

Minutes turned to hours of pure reading under a single flickering desk lamp... Sans groaned tired when Papyrus walked in with a cup of coffee wearing a lab coat that Sans remembered trying on but it dragged on the ground when  he walked around but it fit Papyrus perfectly "Hey big bro" Papyrus rubbed his eyes putting down the cup of coffee on the desk. "Paps what are you doing h-" Papyrus came around the desk and hugged Sans softly bonking his head into his brothers,(( Skelekisses amoungst family members are little head bonks meaning i love you in a family way)). 

"Just checking on my smarty pants big brother, can I help you anything?" He asked supping his cup of coffee. "Just reading through files can you put away these folders?" Sans smiled a little getting back to work drinking the coffee. "of course!" Papyrus took the stack and put them back to cabinet and began to organize them back into there specific folders.

Sans opened up 2 files; Files 1144 and 1145. Sans read through the headlines in the files as his hands begun to shake "L.Sub #1 I will name Sans and 1145 i'll name Papyrus... these two are my first prototypes to survive in a non liquidated environment and there status shows possible intelligence will continue to monitor them" Sans read this line over and over. "Sans, Saaaaaans? SANS" Papyrus called a few times as his brother read intently.

 Sans looked up his gaze looked shocked and he no longer was smiling "I was go- whats wrong?" Papyrus asked noticing his brothers change in emotions. "w-where done for tonight" He shook his head shaking trying to get up without falling over and get away from all this when he Papyrus grabbed his arm. "whats wrong?" Papyrus asked in a more stern tone. "You wouldn't understand even if i told you.. s-so stay out of it ok?" Sans growled slightly snappy, Papyrus looked saddened by his brothers response. 

"I see..." Papyrus let go of his arm and backed away as Sans got up and took the files with him, He didn't even bother cleaning anything up."So im useless to you..." Papyrus backed off "Papyrus no.... just I dont want to see you get hurt" Sans looked at his brother sympathetically "where are you going?" Papyrus asked as Sans walked away "to bed" Sans responded coldly, but papyrus knew sans was going to go read in his bed all night. Papyrus sighed softly "alright" He follows his brother upstairs taking the two cups back upstairs
