Shayam POV

I saw her walking across me and sat on the chair. Taking out her bag, she hung in across the chair and made herself comfortable on the chair.

"Are you crazy Shanaya?" Arjun asked and I was trying to keep my nerves under control.

"I know what I'm doing"

"What is that you want until you hang out with a killer?" I busted.

"None of your buisness" I can't believe she has the audacity to speak to me like that.

"Shanaya we're looking out for you" Rick said.

What happened was last night we were having our boys time on the beach near my resort at the countryside. We were planning to go to Miami but apparently all of us got some work and the plan didn't work out. So we settled for a day's off by the countryside.

"I don't want anyone looking out for me" she said shaking her head.

Taking a deep breath in I stood up and walked towards her.

"Where's your father? What is he doing until you go and date a killer like him?"

"Don't you dare bring my father into this" she snapped at me.

"And I'm not dating him yet. I already told you at the party" she said.

"Why are you with him anyways? Dating or not dating doesn't matter. Still you're in danger for hanging out with him. He's a killer Shanaya. No one knows when someone's aiming for his head with a gun" Rick said, trying to make her realise.

"I know everything ok? You don't have to teach me anything. For your information I'm also a buisness women and I can take care of myself"

How dumb can she be? God!

Walking out of the living room, I went to the kitchen. Opening the fridge, I took out a water bottle and drank all the water cold water in it to keep my blood from boiling.

"I know you're not mad enough to hang out with him knowing he's a killer. You want something related to him right? We'll help it, just name it" Arjun asked.

She sighed and got up. Following me, she took the bottle from my hand and drank the remaining water.

"Nothing. I want nothing from you guys, thank you for asking though"

We boys looked at each other and just were more confused.

"Then why the fuck are you even here?" I busted.

"Maybe I like him. Want to spend sometime with him" she said it in a cool manner as it she doesn't know what she's saying.

"What?" Rick asked again, not believing what he heard.

"Guys, I need to talk to her alone" I said.

Pulling her hand, I brought her to the back side.

"What are you doing?" She tried to pull her hand away from me but my grip tightened.

"Do you want me to call your dad?"

"I'm not a child" she finally got out of my grip. Looking at her wrist, I saw red marks from my hold. Massaging it with her other hand, she kept blowing air in it.

"Are you that cheap? Selling yourself to get some hifi contacts or even money?" I was trying to trigger her to get the answer.

"I am new to buisness and he's teh best source around. So I might have to give something to get something right?" She winked and I can't believe my eyes.

"I'll help you" she looked at me confused.

"I'll help youe company get deals and even partner with you to grow your company. Name the cash you want and you'll have it right away" I offered her literally anything.

"Nah. I don't want anything from you"

"But you're playing dirty to get from him? Or even thinking about Fernandez?"

"I might use him or Fernandez too"

"You're not that type"

"What if I'm?"

"You're seriously challenging me? Don't make me keep you under control" I threatened her.

"I'm not your puppet. I can do whatever I want. Who are you too me anyways?"

I took a deep breath in.

"Look at me" I demanded.

"Do you really like him?" I asked hoping she'll say no.

"I mean he treats me so good and takes care of me like a .."

"Enough" I screamed. I can't hear more of this bullshit.

"I'm taking you home right now" I said, trying to get her hand again.

"Don't you dare" she kept moving back and escaping from me. Having no other choice I carried her in my arms and she squealed.

"Put me down you idiot" she kept hitting my chest and I walked towards my car.

"You don't get to decide with whom I hang out"

Hearing her scream, Arjun and Rick walked out of the house and came running to the car.

"I'm taking her home guys"

Putting her inside the car, I quickly ran to the driver seat and changed to child's lock so she can't open it. Her eyes were burning and in one split of a second her hand connected my cheek and that caught me off guard.

"Never do it, I repeat never"
She got out of the car and stormed out.
