CHAPTER THIRTY TWO

"WHAT'S WRONG with my baby?"

Drake husky voice making her look up on him. She dry her tears with her fingers and try to give him a small smile, showing to him that everything's okay.

It was a very emotional talk with her brother after a years of avoiding that topic. Reminiscing their painful past and all her heartbreaks only hurt her and made her cry. But it's also lessen the burden inside her chest.

"W-Wala, okay lang ako." Gumaralgal ang unang salitang binangit niya.

Mataman muna siyang pinagmasdan ni Drake bago lumipat ang tingin nito kay Dwaye. Her brother's face remain stoic before he stood up and give Drake a man to man hug.

"Congrats, brute." Her brother said meaningfully and patted Drake shoulder. "Finally,"

"Thanks," Simpleng sagot ng binata saka tumango na parang ang dalawa lang talaga ang nagkakaintindihan.

"See you later tonight," Dwaye mutter and kiss her forehead.

"See you, Kuya,"

Nang makaalis ang kapatid ay napaigtad siya nang ipalibot sa kanya ni Drake ang mga braso nito habang nakaupo pa rin siya. His lips was on the side of her neck. Alexza's aware that they are already catching some visitors attention while most of them are enjoying Blake's birthday party.

"You're being clingy again," she almost whispering.

"I like being with you this close."

"Kahit maraming tao?"

"Kahit buong mundo pa ang manood sa'tin sa ganitong posisyon ay wala akong pakialam."

"Kahit may mga babae?"

Medyo umusli ang nguso niya sa ideyang maraming babae ang nanonood sa kanila tapos ay ang mga mata ay nag-aapoy sa inggit at galit sa kanya.

Drake cackle sexily under her ear. She stiffened at the tingling sensation he brought her.

"Kahit libu-libong babae pa 'yan, ikaw pa rin ang nag-iisang babaeng pipiliin ko." Humigpit ang pagyapos nito sa kanya, ang mukha ay halos ibaon na sa leeg niya. "Ikaw lang ang para sa'kin, Alexza."

That's a heart felt. The overwhelming feeling inside her and the wild beating of her heart is too much for her at the moment. It was just a sweet simple words from him but it gives a big impact on her.

"Hindi ka na ba talaga galit sa'kin?" Medyo kabado niyang tanong.

"Hindi na ako galit sa'yo. Mas galit ako sa sarili ko."

"Bakit naman?"

Drake squeeze the tip of his nose on the sensitive skin of her neck, he's smelling her scent in a slow yet sensual way. Tumataaas ang mga balahibo niya sa katawan sa isang masarap na paraan.

His jaw stubbles tickled the skin between her neck and bare shoulder, that she needed to tilted her head sideward to avoid the tingling sensation and the familiar heat that starting to build up inside her, pero sa ginawa niya ay parang mas lalo niya lang itong binigyan ng saktong anggulo upang pagpiyestahan ang kanyang leeg.

Wala siyang nagawa kundi ang maglabas nalang ng mararahang hangin mula sa dibdib.

"Because I feel that I'm very irresponsible man. Hindi ko kayo naprotektahan ng anak natin," bumaba ang palad nito sa ibabaw ng tiyan niya at marahan na humaplos do'n. "But it was all in the past, we should both move on now and accept what happened to our son,"

"Help me accept it,"

"I will always by your side now, Alexza. I'll help you with everything, besides, we can make another baby...if you still want it,"

She blush at that.

She rested her head on his shoulder and place her hands on his arms above her stomach. She like his body heat and his seductive smell. She could stay on his arms forever.

"I want to have another baby," she whisper shyly, she's blushing.

Marahan na natawa si Drake sa leeg niya. Napanguso siya, sana naman ay hindi siya nito pinagbibibiro? Sa totoo lang ay gustung-gusto niyang magkababy ulit kahit na may takot sa dibdib niya. Gusto niyang maranasan ang magpalaki ng bata. Gusto niyang maramdaman ang maging ina, hindi sa sandaling panahon kundi sa habang panahon.

"We will make another baby then. You will need more energy tonight," he whisper under her ear. "I wanna make love with you until dawn."

Alexza swallow hard. His voice is just so sexy and he's irresistible. She could feel her body burning slowly.

"P-paano si Blake? Saan siya matutulog?"

"He will sleep with Dwaye tonight," kinintilan nito ng halik ang gilid ng labi niya. "Sa akin ka muna ngayong gabi, sosolohin muna kita,"

"Baka papagurin," biro niya.

"Papagurin din at papaungulin,"

Nanlaki ang mata niya at hindi kaagad nakapagsalita. Maang na napalingon siya sa paligid dahil baka may nakarinig, pero mukhang wala naman. Some visitors are just watching them with smile on their lips.

Sa wari niya ang iba ay mga business partner ni Drake at mga malalapit na kaibigan ng pamilya. They're very formal but still enjoying the party. Tila ba sanay na ang mga itong puntahan ang selebrasyon ng kaarawan ni Blake.

"Your mouth, baka may makarinig sa'yo."

"I miss you so much, Alexza." He suddenly whisper softly.

The longing on his voice was still there. His embrace tightened even more that they are really catching attention now. They're the only people there hugging like that and Drake doesn't seem to care.

"Palagi naman tayong magkasama ha, bakit mo pa ako namimiss?"

"I just miss everything 'bout you. I feel like having you now is still not enough. I wanna ask for more of you..."

"What can I do?" She whisper, caressing his veined arms that wrap around her.

"Marry me, Alexza."

Sa hindi inaasahang salitang 'yon ay napalayo siya kay Drake. Ito naman ay tuluyan ng napatuwid ng tayo, naninimbang sa reaksyon niya.

Kinakabahan na nagpakawala siya ng maiksing tawa tapos ay tumayo na rin, hindi niya binabalak na iwasan ito, ang nais niya lang ay magkaro'n ng distansya sa pagitan nila bago pa siya kapusin ng hininga.

"Y-you were just kidding m-me," pero sa isinisigaw na damdamin sa magaganda nitong mata, alam niyang hindi siya nito pinaglalaruan.

Ang kaba sa dibdib niya ay hindi na siya binigyan pa ng pagkakataong awatin 'yon. Walang pakundangan ang paghuhumerentado ng tibok ng puso niya.

Drake was standing in front of her, staring at her longingly and lovingly. His thick dark eyebrows lifted slightly, showing amusement. His sharp jaw line was sexily moving a bit.

Alexza took a deep breath silently to calm the wild beating of her heart. Her eyes drifted on his reddish lips when he seductively lick his bottom lips.

Then, he slowly kneel down in front of her making her eyes widened and her lips parted. She carefully look around and she saw everyone is looking at them. They already caught everyone's attention.

"T-tumayo ka riyan," sa sobrang hina ng boses niya kahit siya ay hindi na marinig.

Umangat ang dalawang kamay ni Drake at kinuha ang dalawang kamay niya, ikinulong nito iyon sa mga palad nito. His both knees is on the red carpeted floor. He's literally kneeling in front of her, worshipping her, devoting her.

Masuyo nitong hinalikan ang mga kamay niya bago nag-angat ng tingin sa kanya. Punung-puno ng emosyon ang magaganda nitong mga mata.

"There's so many words in my head that I wanna tell you." Drake said, raspiness on his voice. "There's so many things that I wanted to do for you...to be happy again. Please give me another chance to prove myself to you and to show you that I still deserve you."

"D-Drake," she called his name with her shaky voice. The emotions is too much that it made her speechless.

Her stomach fluttered and her heart is booming wildly inside her chest. She didn't expect him to do all these in front of so many people. The high and mighty Drake Villafuente is kneeling in front of her, asking to be part of her life, again. Literal na nakaluhod ito sa harap niya na para bang ang buong buhay nito ay handang i-alay sa kanya nang walang pag-a-alinlangan.

"And today, I promise myself one last time that I will never let this day pass without my last name on your name." Drake continue, his deep dark brown eyes was looking at her lovingly.

He let his eyes speak what's on his heart, his eyes tells her how much he wanted her on his life...and how much he loves her.

He swallow hard before he remove his one hand on hers and get something on his pocket.

Alexza bit her bottom lips and her tears roll down her cheeks when he opened the small red velvet box and saw the thick sparkling diamond ring on it.

She heard the happy commotions around them, everyone was clapping and cheering, but her eyes only focus on Drake. He blinked, his eyes became red and the sides of it watered.

"Miss Alexza Mendez," his voice almost cracked and it made the small sobs escape her lips. "Please, be my wife," he said it as if he's begging and hoping for her to be his wife.

"Mommy say Yes to daddy, please!" She suddenly heard Blake's voice around the crowd.

Alexza smile and wipe her tears before she nod to Drake. Nakita niya ang pagsilay ng ngiti sa mga labi nito na umabot hanggang sa mga mata.

"I...I want to be Mrs. Drake Villafuente," she softly said and smile at him.

With their both shaky hands, Drake slid the ring on her finger before he kiss it. Nagpalakpakan ang mga taong nakasaksi sa hindi inaasahang wedding proposal na 'yon.

Drake stood up and cupped her face gently before he kiss her passionately. Mas lalong umugong ang ingay sa paligid sa halik na pinagsasaluhan nila ng kanyang fiancé.

There's so many emotions on his every kiss. The way he kiss her, it tells her how much he treasure her, how much he was longing for her and how much he loves her.

She snake her arms around her neck and she answer his kisses with smile on her lips. Happiness filled her.

They are brushing each other lips and gasping for air. His reddish swollen lips tempted her to give him another gentle kiss. He chuckled softly at what she did. His minty breath hit her face and it made her close her eyes.

She felt him kiss her again and his lips went up on her forehead. Nagtagal ang paghalik nito sa noo niya habang marahan na sapo pa rin ng kamay nito ang pisngi niya.

"I love you very much," he whisper and rested his lips on her forehead again.

Her heart keep on dancing inside her chest. She could not suppress the smile on her lips. Alam niya at ramdam niyang mahal siya ni Drake, pero napakasarap pa rin talagang marinig ulit ang mga katagang 'yon mula rito makalipas ang ilang taon.

"I love you too, Drake." She whisper back.

She felt his lips for a smile on her forehead. Bahagya nitong binigyan distansya ang mga mukha nila upang magtama ang kanilang mga mata.

"Say it again,"

She pursed her lips while staring at her fiancé's beautiful sparkling eyes. His brows shot up amusingly, waiting for her to say the words again.

"Ang sabi ko...mahal din kita." Ulit niya ng walang kaabog-abog. "Happy?"

"Mas magiging masaya kung magpapakasal na tayo ngayong gabi rin."

Hinawakan nito ang kamay niya na para bang aalis na sila.

"Sandali," pigil niya, nakakapit sa braso nito.

Drake lazily stop mid-step and tilted his head closer to her, he eyed her carefully as if he's reading her mind.

"You say Yes to be my wife, right?"

"Yes," she bit the side of her cheek shyly.

"Papakasalan mo ako ngayong gabi rin." Pinal na wika nito na para bang hindi makakapayag kung hindi sila magpapakasal ngayong gabi rin!

Wala siyang nagawa kundi tumango nalang. Kung paano sila maikakasal ngayong gabi ay wala siyang ideya. Beach wedding pa naman ang pangarap niya, pero parang malabo yata 'yon dahil kapos na kapos sila sa oras para sa preperasyon para sa gusto niyang kasal.

Pero kahit pa gano'n, handa niyang isantabi ang pangarap na beach wedding basta ba tuluyan na siyang makasal kay Drake katulad ng pangarap niya ilang taon na ang nakakalipas. She wanted to marry the only man who made her heart race just by staring at her. Her one and only, Drake Villafuente.

"CONGRATS mommy ko and daddy ko!"

Blake voice echoed around the crowd using a wireless microphone when he congratulate them with excitement on his voice. He's standing at the center, at the back of the red couch while looking at them with awe.

"Thanks baby," she mouthed at him.

"Can I have my speech now?" Blake ask the host who's standing just near him. The petite woman nod at her son as an answer.

Nag-angat siya ng tingin kay Drake ng marahan nitong sakupin ng palad ang bewang niya at kabigin pa siya palapit dito habang ang mga mata ay nakatuon sa anak nila. All the visitors is now waiting for Blake's speech.

"First of all, I want to thank my daddy for always giving me a birthday party yearly. I love you very much daddy ko!"

Blake smile sweetly at his father. The twinkle on his innocent eyes never leaves him.

Drake shrug his shoulder and mouthed. "Love you too, son."

"And, I am grateful because I have my Tito-Ninong Dwaye, Ninong Zyron pogi, Ninong Brooke and Ninong Clane, who's always there for me to play with me and to give me many toys kahit hindi ko po birthday,"

Blake hands pointed the men who's sitting at the table for six, holding their glass of wine and lifted it.

"Cheers, little champ! Happy birthday!" The men said in unison.

Her son smile even grew wider. Sa wari niya ay bukod sa daddy nito ay hangang-hanga rin ang anak sa mga lalaking binanggit. Huwag lang sanang manahin ng anak pati ang pambababae ng mga gwapong lalaking 'yon.

Blake eyes suddenly drifted on her. He's carefully staring at her. She doesn't know what's on his mind but the way the kid stare at her, it hit something on her heart.

She gulp nervously and her grip at Drake's waist tightened. Why is her son looking at her that way?

"To my mommy," Blake voice echoed again. "Thank you for granting my wish to become my mother. A mommy that I was looking for...I was wishing for and I was longing for." Alexza blink, she could feel the heat at the sides of her eyes. Her heart melted just like that. "Thank you for completing my daddy, for completing our family and...for completing me. I feel like you filled the missing pieces inside my heart. I love you very much, mommy ko."

Alexza force a smile even her lips is shaking. Her eyes watered but at least she manage to control her tears now. She's being emotional in a very good way. Pakiramdam niya ay tunaw na ang lahat ng sakit at poot na nakatago sa dibdib niya.

She felt Drake lips on the side of her head, giving her a gentle kiss. And the crowd clapping their hands after Blake's hearty speech.

"I love you anak ko..." she said tenderly, staring back at her son.

Alexza chuckle when Blake ran towards them and hug their legs. Kakargahin niya sana ito pero naunahan siya ni Drake. Nakakunyapit ang anak nila sa leeg ng ama nito tapos ay titig na titig na  naman sa kanya.

Ngumuso siya.

"Bakit ganyan ka tumitig sa'kin anak?"

"Ang ganda-ganda mo mommy ko, saka parang pareho po tayo ng eyes,"

Napatingin siya kay Drake, ito naman ay pinagmasdan ang mga mata nila ng anak. Bahagya pa nitong inilapit sa kanya si Blake upang mapagkumpara nga ang mga mata nila.

Drake lips pursed while studying their eyes similarity. Then that sexy lips slowly form an amuse smile.

"The pupil is very similar. Parang iisa lang ang may-ari," Drake smirk. "Kaya pala..."

"Anong kaya pala?" Takang tanong niya.

Masaya siya na hinahayaan ang anak na titigan ang mukha niya. At masaya siya sa isipin na magkapareho sila ng mata, hindi niya 'yon napapansin dahil kahit sino ang tumingin kay Blake ay lamang na lamang ang pagkakahawig nito sa ama. Para bang sa mata nga lang talaga nagkatalo ang dalawa, dahil mukhang ang loob ng mata ni Blake ay namana sa ina.

"Because every time I stare at Blake's eyes...I feel like I'm staring at your eyes, Alexza." Drake said, looking at her eyes. "They're very similar. The eyes that always captivates me."

"Tama ako daddy, di ba? Pareho po kami ng eyes ni mommy,"

Hinarap pa ni Blake ang mukha ng ama sa mukha nito para talaga makita ni Drake ang mga mata nito. Napapangiti siya habang pinapanood ang dalawa.

"Oo anak, pareho kayo ng mata ng mommy mo,"

Maligayang tumango-tango naman ang anak nila tapos ay bumaling sa kanya. That's when she study and focus at Blake's eyes.

Alexza swallow carefully when she realized that she's actually looking at her own eyes while staring at Blake eyes. Her sight doesn't play tricks on her, those pair of eyes actually same as hers!

"Oo nga...pareho tayo ng mata anak." Wala sa sariling sambit niya.

"See mommy," Blake said smugly. "Tito-Ninong Dwaye told that to me long time ago. Ang sabi niya po sa'kin may kapareho ang mga mata ko. Ikaw pala 'yon mommy ko."

"Kaya magpapakasal na kami kaagad ng mommy mo para—"

"Para wala na siyang kawala sa'tin daddy! Tara na! Magkasalan na po kayo!"

Naglikot ang anak na nasa bisig ng ama kaya pareho silang natawa ni Drake. Excited na excited na talaga itong maikasal na sila.

Nahigit niya ang hininga nang ilapit ng fiancé ang labi sa tenga niya.

"Wala ka ng kawala...I will claim you and I will mark you as mine." Drake territorially whisper, making her knees trembled.

Iba pa rin ang tindi ng emosyon na naibibigay sa kanya ng fiancé kahit sa mga simpleng gesture lang. Paos na boses palang nito ay pinanghihinaan na kaagad siya.

"Sayo lang ako," ganting bulong niya, itinatago ang kilig. Itinatago ang malakas na kabog ng dibdib.

"Then let's change your last name with mine...before this day end."
