Chapter Thirty Two

Tan Soo Mi

"We'll call off the war." Namjoon spoke as I sat beside Taehyung in hospital. He was to stay in overnight to make sure he didn't have concussion. "You saved Taehyung and you didn't have to."

"Okay." I spoke quietly.

"But can we have our building back at least?" They asked. I sighed quietly.

"You can have all of it back."

"How much?" Namjoon reached for his pocket.

"Free." I smiled softly. They stood there with their eyes wide. "I don't think Soo Ra will go to you anytime soon though."

"Oh..." Jungkook frowned.

"You broke her. She wouldn't usually fight but she's been training to fight. She can easily beat Da Hyeon in a fight..." I hummed.

"Ah, you're all still here. Visiting hours ended half an hour ago. One of you can stay though. Just in case he wakes up."

"She can stay-"

"I meant next of kin-"

"She's his girlfriend." Namjoon spoke. "You'll be fine here with him for the night won't you?"

"I-I..." I was blushing like crazy and I looked down nodding.

The boys chuckled.

"Okay, I'll have to ask you six to leave then." The nurse smiled and all the boys left. The door shutting behind them and it went quiet except for the heart monitor behind him.

I sighed quietly looking at his bruising and already bruised face.

"I'm so sorry..." I whispered quietly slowly holding his hand and linking our fingers. "If I had just paid you all instead of making a big fuss about it, you wouldn't have been hurt and-" my voice cracked and the tears started falling. I had caused the one person who helped me recover to be hurt. How could I?

Kim Taehyung

I woke up to a weight on my arm, I blinked a few times adjusting to the dimly lit room. The only source of light coming from a lamp in the far corner. I looked over at where the weight was coming from and saw Soo Mi, asleep holding my hand.

My heart swelled at the vision of her until she shifted slightly and wet trails of tears were visible as she slept. I sighed quietly and used the corner of the blanket covering me to wipe them away and she shifted again.

Was she comfy hunched over with her head on the bed?

I sat up slowly and let go of her hand before slowly reaching under her arms and lifting her up onto the bed and almost as quick as she touched the mattress her body automatically tried curling and cuddling into me. I smiled softly down at the girl and laid back down, her head making its way onto my chest with her arm loosely around my middle. I wrapped an arm around her and held her close.

It was all cute and cuddly until one sentence shattered my heart.

"Tae... I'm sorry..." she spoke quietly, still fast asleep cuddled into my sides. I gulped slightly, swallowing the lump in my throat. She gripped onto my shirt and fresh tears fell.

I did the one thing I knew calmed her down. I hummed quietly before turning into singing. Her tears slowly stopped and her breathing became more regular and I smiled.

She was so precious. She might have been a gang leader much more scary than any gang in Seoul. But in the end, she was still human.
