Chapter One
Tan Soo Mi
I hummed quietly in the changing rooms, getting ready to go home.
"Soo Mi!" Da Hyeon called through leaning against the door outside the changing rooms. "Are you nearly done?"
I opened the door and he fell slightly, causing a small laugh to leave my lips, I was dressed in a jumper and a pair of black jeans, something much more comfy than the work uniform I wore.
"Good, I'm tired and I want to go home." He whined like a child, causing me to laugh more.
"Let's go then." I smiled and walked out the rear exit from the club, he followed, taking his car keys out of his pocket and pressing the button. His car flashed a few meters away. I felt him near closer. Da Hyeon was the only reason I managed to get the job, because my aunt wouldn't have let me come home alone, not the way Seoul was heading, at least three times a week lately there had been reports of shootings.
Everybody knew who it was though, it wasn't difficult to know that it was due to the two most notorious gangs of Seoul. I sighed and slid into the car and Da Hyeon slid in the other side. Once we had started driving, I kept turning the radio louder, singing along quietly.

It was wash rinse repeat with work and my life. I had finished school, I had a job, but because of the dangers of the city I had no social life. If I was wanting to hang out with one of my friends I went to either their house or they came to my house.
So that explained why I was sat with Mi Ra in the bathroom as she bleached my hair for me. She had finished a hair and beauty course, so I knew I could trust her with these things.
"I can't believe you're letting me choose your colour!" She squealed happily. I smiled as she leant my head over the sink and rinsed the bleach out.
"I can't believe it either, but I trust you." I grinned as she rubbed conditioner through my hair.
"I also can't believe your plans, I never knew you'd be such a reble." She laughed quietly. Just so my aunt didn't overhear.
Four hours later and I had locked my bedroom door and opened my bedroom window. The cold winter air nipping at my bare skin as I slid out the window onto the tree nearby. I shimmied down the tree and landed on the floor quietly. I snuck past the house and to where Mi Ra was waiting for me. I smiled and slid into the car and she drove off.
"I honestly never took you to be the type to rock bright pink hair and sneak out to a nightclub." Mi Ra laughed, her bright white car shimmering in the city lights.
I took a deep breath.
"Neither did I." I admitted quietly.
