Chapter Four

Tan Soo Mi

"Where did you learn that?" Da Hyeon asked quietly as we sat in silence in his room.

I sighed. "I best tell you everything." I mumbled quietly.

I spent the next three hours telling him every detail about my life up until now.

His eyes were wide.

"That's why my aunt limits my friends to you and Mi Ra, why she hid me from the outside world..." I forced a small smile onto my lips and he smiled in return nodding.

Two nights later and I was singing whilst washing a table in the club. I, yet again, felt eyes on me. But I ignored it. It felt like more than one persons eyes, but at the same time we were at a club, many people will be having fun dancing.

So why did I feel so many pairs of eyes on me?

"Hey beautiful." Someone grabbed my hips and span me so my lower back was on the table, I was facing this man. He was tall and buff, clearly a henchman or someone from a really small gang.

Da Hyeon had advised me not to fight again, so now I was just hoping and praying that someone would help me. Plus as much of a fighter I was, I don't think adrenaline would help me through this one.

His lips went for mine and I dropped my cleaning items out of shock and closed my eyes flinching away. There wasn't much else I could do, Da Hyeon advised me to go for the innocent girl act. If that meant this, then I guess so be it.

When the hands were gone, and there wasn't anybody trying to kiss me. I opened my eyes. There stood fourteen boys and one unconscious body.

"T-Tan Soo Mi." I stuttered. I hadn't seen what they had done to that man, but I didn't need anyone to tell me. I knew there wasn't a way I could take on the Fourteen men alone.

"Please don't be scared of us, we promise we won't hurt you." Two boys reached out their hands as a reassuring gesture, but my eyes widened when two tattoos were visible. Both indicating they were from two different gangs.

The gangs that ran Seoul.
