<Yang p.o.v.>

I was walking through the forest.

The forest was incredibly misty.

I was calling out to anyone.

"Hello" I called.

No response.

"Is anyone out there" I called.

Still nothing.

"Hello...I'm getting bored here" I called.

I heard rustling in some nearby bushes.

"Is someone there" I called.

As I looked into the bushes...

"Ruby, Y/n is that you" I called.

It wasn't Ruby or Y/n.

"Nope" I said.

I jumped back as an Ursa tried hitting me.

I activated my gauntlets.

Another Ursa appeared and tried hitting me.

I jumped back.

As the first Ursa came at me I hit it with my gauntlets, shooting it back.

The other one tried attacking me so I gave it an uppercut then I kicked it away.

"You guys wouldn't happen to have seen a girl in a red hood would you...or atleast a boy with a black coat, he tends to be not far from her" I asked.

They both roared at me.

"You could just say no" I said.

One tried swiping at me.

I dodged it easily.

"Geez you two couldn't hit the side of a ba-" I said.

I noticed a long gold strand of my hair fall to the ground.

THEY HIT ME!!!

"You..." I said.

They looked at each other.

"YOU MONSTERS" I shouted.

And with that I powered up and launched myself at one of them.

I quickly punched, uppercutted, then gave it a ton of punches as it flew through the forest.

Once I finished with it it smashed through the trees.

I turned to the other one.

"WHAT, YOU WANT SOME TOO" I said.

It roared at me then....died?

As it's body fell I noticed how it died.

Blake had killed it from behind.

Once she retrieved her weapon we stared at each other.

"I could've taken him" I said.

<Weiss p.o.v.>

I was surrounded by Beowolves.

I got into a battle stance after I was pushed back.

Remember your training Weiss.

Head up.

Shoulders back.

Right foot forward.

Not that forward.

Slow your breathing, wait for the right time to strike and...

"Now" I said.

I thrusted forward.

As I was about to hit a Beowolf...then Ruby appeared and ruined it.

"GOTCHA" Ruby said.

I tried to move out of the way.

As I tried stopping I launched a wave of fire at a tree.

Ruby got attacked, and when she did she was pushed into me.

"Hey watch it" Ruby said.

"Excuse me, you attacked out of turn, I could have killed you" I said.

"You'll have to try a lot harder than that" Ruby said.

The big Beowolf howled.

Before we could do anything we all heard something.

We all looked up and...

BLAM!!

Something had just smashed into the big Beowolf.

It was...Y/N?!

He had just appeared from where the Beowolf came from.

Did he just fall from the sky?

He ran to us.

"Hello Ruby" He said.

"Y/n" Ruby cheered.

Both Ruby and Y/n went into battle stances.

First my attack was interrupted, second I set fire to the forest, thirdly Y/n ignores me, and finally....THE FOREST IS ON FIRE!!!

"We have to go" I said.

Y/n picked up Ruby and ran with me away from the fire.

Once we got far enough Y/n placed Ruby down.

"WHAT WAS THAT, THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN EASY" Ruby asked.

"Well perhaps if you had exercised even the slightest amount of caution with the placement of your strikes I wouldn't have set the forest on fire" I said.

"Ok please calm down" Y/n said.

"What's that supposed to mean" Ruby asked.

THIS LITTLE-

"I'm just surprised that someone that talks so much would communicate so little during an encounter" I said.

"Well I'm sorry that you need my help to win a fight, I'm just fine on my own" Ruby said.

"Well congratulations on being the strongest child to sneak your way into Beacon, bravo" I said as I walked off.

I heard Ruby attack a tree in anger from my comments.

Little did we know a giant black feather landed on said tree.

<Pyrrha p.o.v.>

Jaune and I were walking through the Forest.

We heard explosions.

"Did you hear that" Jaune asked.

"Gunfire, it seems some of our comrades have encountered the enemy" I said.

As we walked through the forest a branch hit Jaune.

"Jaune, I'm sorry" I said.

"Heh it's ok, just a scratch" Jaune said.

I walked to him.

"Why didn't you activate your Aura" I asked.

He was confused.

"Your Aura" I said.

"Gesundheit" Jaune said.

"Jaune, do you know what Aura is" I said.

He scoffed.

"Of course I do...do you know what Aura is" He asked.

He doesn't know.

"Aura is the manifestation of our souls, it bears our burdens and shields our hearts, have you ever felt like you were being watched without knowing that someone was there" I asked Jaune.

"Uh yeah" He said.

He managed to understand that.

"With practice our Aura can be our shield, everyone has it, even animals" I said.

"What about monsters" He asked.

"No, the monsters we fight lack a soul, they are creatures of Grimm, the manifestation of anonymity, they are the darkness and we are the light" I said.

Jaune understood more.

"Right, that's why we fight them" Jaune said.

"It's not about why, it's about knowing, understanding both dark and light helps us manifest our aura, everyone has some of both, by baring yourself outward you can deflect harm, all of our tools and equipment are our conduits for Aura, you can project yourself and your soul when fighting" I said.

"IT'S LIKE A FORCEFIELD" Jaune said.

"Yes, if you wanna look at it that way" I said with a smile.

I walked to him.

"Now close your eyes and concentrate" I said.

I placed my hand on his head.

"Uh...ok" Jaune said.

I began unlocking his aura.

"For it is in passing that we achieve immortality, through this we become a paragon of virtue and glory to rise above all, infinite in distance and unbound by death, I release your soul, and by my shoulder protect thee" I said.

I felt a bit weak.

"Pyrrha" Jaune asked.

"It's alright, I used my Aura to unlock yours, but the energy that protects you now is your own" I said.

The cut on his face healed.

"You have a lot of it" I said.

Jaune looked at himself.

"Wow" He said.
