<Y/n p.o.v.>

I was in the middle of flying.

According to my calculations and the percentage of Flora coverage I believe I have found the location of the temple, which should make achieving the relic all the more easier.

As I continued my analysis of the forest I realized I was starting to drop.

I then decided to try something.

I morphed my arms into four large thin wings.

And with those wings I took flight.

To be honest I wasn't sure it was going to work.

I wanted to continue flying but then I saw Jaune still flying.

I say flying but I really mean falling.

As I was about to intervene I saw what looked like Pyrrha's spear, I think it was trying to save him.

Judging from the speed and trajectory...IT'LL BE TOO LATE!

So I swooped in and sped to the spear.

When I got to it I immediately kicked it, putting it on the right track.

I saw the spear hit Jaune's hood.

"Thank you" Jaune said.

That was all I heard before I flew into a tree branch.

As I hit it the tree branch reared back and....

FLUNG!!!

I was launched backwards.

"SHIT" I shouted as a strong gust of wind sent me hurdling everywhere.

It wasn't a normal gust too...

All I saw before I was grabbed was black feathers.

Mental note...save flying for emergencies!

<Ruby p.o.v.>

I landed in the forest.

I then sprinted into the Forest.

Gotta find Yang, gotta find Yang, gotta find Yang, gotta find-

"YANG....YANG" I shouted, calling out to her.

Oh this is bad this is really bad, oh what if I can't find her, what if someone finds her first?

There's always Jaune. 

He's nice. 

He's funny.

I don't think he's very good in a fight though.

OH what about Blake?

So mysterious, so calm.

Plus she likes books!

Well then again I'm not sure I'd be able to hold a conversation with her.

What about Y/n?

He's smart, funny, caring.

And he could probably keep me warm whenever I'm cold whilst we're doing homework together.

Plus he helped me with Roman.

Ok so there's Y/n as a possible candidate, oh gosh I'm sounding like Jaune.

Okay who else do I know in the school?

There's Yang, Jaune, Blake, Y/n, and...

I then had to stop before I ran into...Weiss.

As I stopped I made eye contact with her.

She squinted her eyes whilst I smiled at her.

She turned around and walked away.

"Wait where are you going...we're supposed to be teammates" I said sadly.

I stood there pouting.

A short bit afterwards Weiss came back.

"By no means does this make us friends" Weiss said dragging me away.

"YOU CAME BACK" I cheered.

Once she let go she began speed walking.

"What's the hurry" I asked.

"I will not let my mission be delayed because you're too slow, I swear if I get a bad grade because you're-" Weiss said.

Being the awesome person I am I zipped in front of her.

"I'm not slow see, you don't have to worry about me" I said.

"When did-" Weiss asked.

"Weiss just because I don't exactly know how to deal with people doesn't mean I don't know how to deal with monsters" I said.

I placed my arm around her.

"You're about to see a whole different side of me today Weiss, and after it's all over you're gonna be like 'wow that Ruby is girl is really really cool...and I want to be her friend" I said.

<Weiss p.o.v.>

I watched her zoom away.

Honestly that girl gets on my nerves.

I heard rustling in coming from the bushes.

"You may be fast but you excel at wasting time"I said.

The rustling continued, all around me in fact.

"Ruby" I called.

The rustling increased.

"Ruby" I called again.

I realized I was in danger.

As I looked around I heard growling.

I turned to the source of the growling.

It was coming from....A BEOWOLF!!!

"RUBY" I shouted.
