<Y/n p.o.v.>

I was walking around Vale with Ika and team RWBY.

Decorations were littered everywhere.

There was even a giant banner that said "Welcome to Vale".

"THE VYTAL FESTIVAL, OH THIS IS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL" Weiss shouted happily.

"I don't think I've ever seen you smile this much Weiss, kinda weirding me out" Ruby said.

"Ruby I'm scared" I said hiding behind Ruby.

"How can you not smile, a festival dedicated to the cultures of the world, there will be dances, parades, a tournament...." Weiss said.

"WAIT THERE'S A TOURNAMENT" Ika asked.

He pushed me aside to hear more.

"Oh the amount of planning and organization that goes into this event is simply breathtaking" Weiss said.

"You really know how to take a good thing and make it sound boring" Yang said.

"There there Yang" I said hugging Yang, making her laugh.

Weiss turned to us with a scowl.

"Quiet you" Weiss said.

We walked to a railing that showed a view of the docks.

"Remind me again why we're spending our friday afternoon visiting the stupid docks" Yang said.

"They smell like fish" Ruby said holding her nose.

"I can't smell shit" Ika said with a chuckle.

"Than take off your mask" I said.

He laughed.

"I've heard that students visiting from Vacuo will be arriving from ship today, and as a representative of Beacon I feel as though it is my solemn duty to welcome them to this fine kingdom" Weiss said.

"She wants to spy on them so she can have the upper hand in the tournament" Blake said.

"You can't prove that" Weiss spat.

"Part of the way I hunt features a lot of that so we can compare notes Weiss" Ika said.

Whilst no one was looking they shook hands.

"Woah" Ruby said as something caught her attention.

Everyone turned to where she was looking.

It looked like a store robbery.

We walked on over.

Two detectives were investigating the scene.

"What happened here" Ruby asked.

"Robbery, second dust shop to be hit this week, this place is turning into a jungle" Officer 1 said.

"That's terrible" Yang said.

Curious.

"Hey they left all the money again" Officer 2 said.

"Just doesn't make a lick of sense, who would need all that dust anyway" Officer 1 asked.

Who steals Dust instead of money?

"You thinking White Fang" Officer 1 asked.

"I'm thinking we don't get paid enough for this" Officer 2 asked.

"Perhaps we can help them. Ika and I both have scanners that can detect even the smallest of details perhaps we find whatever Human or Faunus that-" I asked.

"Hmph the White Fang, what an awful bunch of degenerates" Weiss said.

Blake turned to her.

"What's your problem" Blake asked.

Weiss turned to her.

"MY problem, I simply don't care for the criminally insane" Weiss said.

"The White Fang are hardly a bunch of psychopaths, they're a collection of misguided Faunus" Blake said.

"Misguided, they want to wipe humanity off the face of the planet" Weiss said.

"So then they're VERY misguided, either way it doesn't explain why they would rob a dust store in the middle of downtown Vale" Blake said.

We all just stared at her.

"Blake's got a point, besides the police never caught that Torchwick guy I ran into a couple months ago, maybe it was him" Ruby said.

Torchwick....I read his file, he's done a lot of crummy things.

"That still doesn't change the fact that the White Fang are a bunch of scum, those Faunus only know how to lie, cheat, and steal" Weiss said.

"That's not necessarily true Weiss" Yang said.

"Besides we don't have evidence that a Faunus was involved" Ika said.

"HEY STOP THAT FAUNUS" Someone shouted.

We turned to the boat out on the docks.

A yellow haired monkey Faunus was being chased by some sailors.

"Thanks for the ride guys" The Faunus chuckled.

He jumped off the boat then dangled from the lamp-post by his tail.

"YOU NO GOOD STOWAWAY" One sailor yelled.

"Hey, a no good stowaway would've been caught, me I'm a great stowaway" He said.

A cop threw a rock at him, he dodged it.

"Get down from there this instant" Cop 1 said.

The Faunus threw a banana peel at his face, much to the cop's dislike.

He then jumped away from the cops, then ran away.

He then ran past us, not before giving Blake a wink.

"Well Weiss, you wanted to see the competition, and there it goes" Yang said.

"QUICK, WE HAVE TO OBSERVE HIM" Weiss said.

We chased after him.

When we chased him around a corner-

BANG!

Weiss ran into something.

The Faunus escaped.

"No he got away" Weiss said.

"Uhh Weiss..." Yang said.

She turned to what she tripped over...it was a girl.

She had orange hair, green eyes, and-wait!

I scanned her and I saw that she was...a machine!

Ika and I turned to each other, he must've noticed it too.

Weiss immediately hopped off her.

"Salutations" The girl said.

"Umm...hello" Ruby said.

"Are you ok" Yang asked.

"I'm wonderful, thank you for asking" The girl said still lying on the floor.

"Do you wanna get up" Yang asked.

The girl thought for a split second.

"Yes" The girl said.

She stood back up.

Everyone took a step back.

"My name is Penny, it is a pleasure to meet you" Penny asked.

"Hi Penny, I'm Ruby" Ruby said.

"I'm Weiss" Weiss said.

"Blake" Blake said.

Good introductions so far-

"Are you sure you didn't hit your head" Yang asked.

Nevermind.

Blake hit her with her elbow.

"Oh I'm Yang" Yang said.

"The name's Y/n, nice to meet you" I said.

"Ikagaki" Ika said with a gruffy voice.

"It's a pleasure to meet you" Penny said.

"You already said that" Weiss said.

The girl looked like she was in deep thought.

"So I did" Penny said.

"Well sorry for running into you" Weiss said.

"Take care friend" Ruby said.

"Farewell Penny" Ika said.

Ika said bowed towards Penny.

We walked away.

"She was weird" Yang said.

She's a machine?!

It seems the others didn't notice.

"Now where did that Faunus riff raff run off to" Weiss asked.

Suddenly Penny was standing in front of us.

"What did you call me" She asked.

CRAP!

"Oh I'm sorry, I didn't think you heard me" Yang said.

"No not you...you" Penny said talking to Ruby.

"Me" Ruby asked.

She began stuttering.

"You called me friend, am I really your friend" Penny asked.

Ruby's team shook their heads.

"I don't see any reason as to why you can't be our friend" I said.

"Gaining allies is always welcome, friends are extra special" He said.

Ruby's team fainted.

"SENSATIONAL, WE CAN PAINT OUR NAILS, AND TRY ON CLOTHES, AND TALK ABOUT CUTE BOYS" Penny cheered.

"If you don't mind me asking but...where are you from" I asked.

"I'm going to fight in the tournament" Penny said.

She's gonna fight?

"Wait, you're fighting in the tournament" Weiss asked.

"I'm combat ready" She said with a salute.

This girl kinda reminds me of....well me.

"Forgive me but, you don't look exactly look the part" Weiss said.

"Says the one in a dress" Blake said.

"It's a combat skirt" Weiss said.

"YEAH" Ruby said.

Weiss and Ruby gave a low five.

"Wait a minute, if you're here for the tournament, does that mean you know that Monkey tailed....rapscallion" Weiss asked.

"The who" Penny asked.

"The filthy Faunus from the boat" Weiss said holding up a bad drawing of the Faunus.

"Why do you keep saying that" Blake asked.

Everyone turned to her.

"Stop calling him a rapscallion, stop calling him a degenerate, he's a person" Blake said.

"Oh I'm sorry should I stop referring to the trash can as a trash can, or this lamp post as a lamp post" Weiss said

This is getting too far.

"STOP IT" Blake said.

"Stop what? He clearly broke the law. Give him time and he'll probably join those other Faunus in the White Fang" Weiss said.

"YOU IGNORANT LITTLE BRAT" Blake said.

"I will put the both of you in time out if you continue to argue" I said as I put a blade at their necks.

They looked at the blade, then Blake walked away.

"How dare you talk to me like that, I'm your teammate" Weiss said.

She walked towards Blake.

"You are a judgmental little girl" Blake said.

"What in the world makes you say that" Weiss said.

Yang tapped on my shoulder.

"We should probably get going" She said.

I agreed.

"Where are we going" Penny asked.

<Timeskip>

The fight has continued for hours on end.

Even I was losing hope on discovering a solution, Weiss was just that ignorant.

"I don't understand why this is such a problem" Weiss said.

"That is the problem" Blake said.

"You realize you are defending an organization that hates humanity don't you, the Faunus of the White Fang are pure evil" Weiss said.

"THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS PURE EVIL" Blake said.

I coughed.

"*Cough* Skynet *Cough*" I said.

Ika snickered.

"Why do you think they hate humanity so much, it's because of people like Cardin, people like YOU, that force the White Fang to take such drastic measures" Blake said.

"People like me" Weiss asked.

"YOU'RE DISCRIMINATORY" Blake said.

"I'M A VICTIM" Weiss said.

Silence filled the air.

"You want to know why I despise the White Fang, why don't particularly trust the Faunus..." Weiss asked walking to the window.

Once she made it she placed her hand on the drawer.

"It's because they've been at war with my family for years. War as in actual bloodshed. My Grandfather's company has had a target painted on it's back for as long as I could remember, and ever since I was a child I've watched family and friends disappear. Board members...executed. An entire train cart full of dust...stolen. And everyday my father would come home furious, and that made for a very difficult childhood" Weiss said hitting the drawer as she finished.

Ruby walked to her.

"Weiss I-" Ruby said.

"NO, you want to know why I despise the White Fang, it's because they're a bunch of liars, thieves, and murderers" Weiss said.

"WELL MAYBE WE WERE JUST TIRED OF BEING PUSHED AROUND" Blake shouted.

Everyone was shocked, however I secretly already knew.

Since the first day of Beacon I've known she was a Faunus.

Blake realized what she said, then she ran out.

"BLAKE WAIT, COME BACK" Ruby said.

Everyone looked at Weiss.

"Leave her. If she knows what's right she'll get herself arrested" Weiss said.

"Weiss..." I said.

Once she turned to me I slapped her.

She was shocked.

Everyone was.

"Weiss you went too far this time. You would hate it if I called you a filthy Schnee wouldn't you? Look at the filthy Schnee, who's family causes nothing but trouble, who's bloodline is a disgrace-" I said walking towards Weiss.

"Stop it" She said.

"The Schnee family that has NEVER contributed to the world. The same family that has created a group of genocidal Faunus and has stolen the homes and lands of these Faunus-" I said.

"Please stop" She said crying.

I went right up to her.

"THE SAME FAMILY THAT SHOULD NEVER HAVE EXISTED. IF THEY WERE SMART THEY SHOULD JUST DIE" I said.

She was tearing up.

"Now you know her pain. And if you were as smart as you say you are you would see beyond race. Beyond the past and look forward, but what could be expected from the Schnee family" I said.

She was crying.

"I'm so disappointed in you Weiss...it hurts to know how you feel about Blake" I said.

I turned to Ika.

"You're good at tracking right? Go find her and make sure she's ok. I'll make sure to keep an eye out for her just in case she returns" I said.

"I'll go looking" Ika said.

The eyes on his mask glew yellow.

He looked at the ground and examined it.

He then ran out of the room fast, his heavy footsteps made him sound threatening.

Blake...please be ok.

<Blake p.o.v.>

I ran to the statue in front of Beacon.

I looked at the statue.

Why must the people stand brave whilst...the 'monsters' remain beneath their feet.

I grabbed my bow and I took it off...letting my ears free.

I wiped away a tear.

"Figured you were a Faunus..." A voice said.

I turned and saw Ikagaki and the Monkey Faunus from before.

"You look better without the bow" Sun said.

Ikagaki nodded.

I made a faint smile.

<Timeskip in Y/n p.o.v.>

"She's been gone all weekend" Ruby said.

"Blake's a big girl, she can take care of herself" Weiss said.

"Shut up Schnee" I said.

Weiss shut up.

"Weiss come on, she's one of our teammates" Yang said.

"Is she? We all heard what she said" Weiss asked.

I turned to Weiss.

"Maybe she is and maybe she isn't, either way she's missing and we need to find her" Yang said.

"A member of the White Fang, right underneath our noses" Weiss said.

"I just hope she's ok" Ruby said.

<Somewhere in Blake p.o.v.>

I sipped some tea.

Ikagaki was currently having an arm wrestling match with Sun and Sun was losing hard.

Not gonna lie it was very amusing to watch.

However I should be thankful since Ikagaki has let me sleep in his ship for the time being.

I don't mind sleeping in the ship but sleeping in a ship with giant dogs doesn't make it easy, however I should be thankful.

And Sun has stayed with me throughout this venture.

I suppose I owe them something.

"So..." I said.

They both looked at me.

"You wanna learn more about me" I said.
