The air was silent as the men stood their and watched each other, the cop against two men who had a teenager and child. His partner got out of the car and aimed his gun at the two cons as he sighed nervously. 

"Stay where you are!" He shouted as he watched them. Their squad car was on one side of the bridge and the cons were in the middle.

"Put your hands in the air!" His partner yelled. Tarn glanced to Helex and nodded once before they each put their hands in the air. The cops were surprised and slowly stepped forward.

"Miss, please come to us." Chase said seriously. She glanced at the two men then the cops before moving towards them. The cops had her move behind them then slowly approached the men. Tarn glanced to the two girls then over to Helex. He wasn't ready to go to jail yet. The cops made them turn around and they cuffed them.

Tarn looked to his comrade and his face twitched slightly. Helex whipped around and kicked Chase before he head butted the other cop. Tarn got his hands in front of him and grabbed the keys. He took the one cops gun as Chase managed to recover from the kick. The DJD leader quickly freed his comrade and glanced to Chase as he whipped out his gun. Tarn aimed his gun and fired just as Chase did the same. The con was trained well and managed to avoid the bullet. Chase grunted as he was shot in the shoulder and fell back. Helex took the gun and walked over before kicking the cops gun off the bridge.

"Come along girls if you want the officers to live." Tarn said seriously and looked at them. Miko shook her head as she stood in front of Peregrine.

"Never. We aren't going anywhere else with you." She growled angrily as she clenched her fists tightly. Chase grunted as he got back to his knees. His partner rubbed his head as he sat up. Chase set a finger to his lips with his good hand as he watched him.

"Alright then." He said calmly and Helex gave him the gun. The cop got up quietly and moved towards them. Tarn whipped around and shot the man in the head. Miko screamed as she hugged the child close. Her eyes widened as the cop fell to the ground. Chase stared with eyes wide as he looked at his partner. He glanced up at Tarn as he set the gun to his head.

"Let's try that again. Come along, girls." He said seriously. Miko fought back tears as she picked up the child and walked towards them. Chase didn't move as he watched them and tried to think of a way out of this. Tarn glanced to the car then the way they had to go. He smirked as the girls got close and Helex grabbed Miko's arm.

"Officer Chase." Tarns said as he moved the gun to the mans tag. He stared at it and scoffed a little. "Catch." he smirked. Helex gripped the teens shoulders and picked her up with ease before he tossed her over the edge of the bridge.

Miko screamed as she tightened her grip on the child and tried to grab something with her free hand. The cop's eyes widened and he lunged over the edge as he reached for her. He grabbed her arm but went over the edge, his other arm quickly grabbed onto the bridge and he panted quietly. His injured shoulder screaming in pain as it shook and held on to the bridge. He heard slow clapping as Tarn walked over and smirked.

"Nice catch, Officer Chase. I have to say I'm impressed." he said as he looked over the edge at the girls. The raging water two feet below them. Peregrine looked down at the water, she whimpered and clung to Miko. The cop grit his teeth, his injured arm shook and he buried his face in his blood stained sleeve as he fought the pain. He glared back up at the villains as they walked over and looked at him. 

"Don't let go." Miko whispered to the child as she held on to the cops hand and the little girl in her arms. Peri nodded and held on, wrapping her arms and legs around her. They could tell the cops arm was hurting as it shook from the strain and the wound. He looked at them and saw the fear in their eyes.

"D-don't... worry..." he grunted through gritted teeth. "You're... safe... now...." he said as he held on to them. Miko felt her wrist hurting but knew it wasn't his fault, he was trying to make sure they didn't drown. He looked back at the cons as they watched him and the leader chuckled cruelly before he glanced to his man and motioned for him to go to the fallen cop.

"Such a hero." Tarn said sarcastically as he slowly set his boot on the cops hand. "You better hold on, Officer Chase." he sneered as he pressed his boot on the man's hand, shifting his weight to crush his fingers.

The cop grit his teeth more as a strained noise of agony came out. The cons smirked darkly as he watched him and ground the heel of his boot on the mans hand. Chase buried his face in his blood stained sleeve again as he fought the pain. He panted and shook more, feeling weaker by the second. 

"What's the matter?" Tarn smirked again. "Are you slipping away?" He asked as he raised his foot to stomp on his hand.

Chase looked up at him weakly and realized he wouldn't be able to hold on. He had to keep the girls alive no matter what. Tarn grunted as he was punched in the face and stumbled back. He lost his footing and grunted hitting the ground. He blinked in surprise and looked to his attacker, no one could sneak up on him like that. He couldn't hide his surprise as it crossed his face.

Heatwave narrowed his eyes as he watched his father get up, he stood in front of his friend and clenched his fists. Helex helped Tarn up and they moved back, the leader shrugging his comrade off angrily as he glared.

"Make your choice little Firefighter." Tarn seethed as he wiped his mouth with his sleeve. "Save your friend from death, or stop me from hurting your mother again." He growled angrily. "Choose like you did when you were a boy." He smirked darkly and they ran off back towards the cabin.

Heatwave clenched his fists and took a step to follow but stopped suddenly and looked to Chase. He glanced back to where his father had disappeared and yelled angrily. He rushed to his friend and grabbed onto his arm. He grunted as he pulled the three of them up. He yelled from the strain but refused to let go. Kade came running towards him with a few medics and paused as his eyes widened.

He rushed over to help him and they got them to safety. Heatwave carefully laid Chase down and the girls hugged him tightly as they shook. The medics carefully took over as the firefighter rested briefly. 

"I knew you were strong... but dang." Kade said as Heatwave knelt there and panted heavily. The firefighter looked at him and then glanced to Chase and the girls who were being treated.

"We need to get back to the cabin." He said seriously and looked at him then stumbled back towards their car. "Chase and the girls will be safe now." He said as he forced himself to run back to his vehicle. He was tired but he knew he couldn't stop, not yet.

Soundwave silently knelt by his mother and carefully put his jacket over her to keep her warm. He glanced to the two cons who were tied up in the shack corner, he glared darkly before looking to his mother again. She stirred and whimpered in pain as she moved. He hummed softly as he brushed her hair out of her face.

He wondered where the cops were, weren't they right behind them? Where was Megatron?

"S... Soundwave?" Beta whispered and he looked at her again as he smiled gently and looked over her injuries. He couldn't tell if anything was broken, he hoped not. 

"I'm here..." he whispered and smiled a little as she looked at him tiredly. "You're safe now...." he said and she sighed shakily as she gently gripped his hand.

"Don't make promises you can't keep." a voice said and the young man whipped around to see Tarn standing in the doorway. His eyes widened in surprise but he didn't dare speak. "You've gotten in my way one too many times." his father growled and glanced to the other two. Helex moved passed him and freed his friends before bringing them outside.

Tarn clenched his fists tightly as he watched his son. Helex came back to the doorway as he waited. The leader pulled out his gun and aimed it at Soundwave.

"Tie him up." He said seriously as he watched the young man. Helex moved forward and Soundwave jumped up, ready to fight. "If you attack then the monster dies!" Tarn boomed. Beta winced and their son glared darkly before he let Helex tie him up.

They tied his hands to a beam on the ceiling above his head, his feet dangling almost a foot off the ground. Helex tied some items to his feet to weigh him down. Soundwave winced and grunted as he felt his limbs stretch uncomfortably from the strain. The con then worked on creating a whip with a frayed rope and tied the ends with nails and bolts. While Helex worked, Tarn grabbed Beta and forced her to walk to the exit.

"Don't hurt him!" She screamed as she looked back to her little boy. "Please! Tarn don't hurt him! I'll do what you want! Just-" he backhanded her and Soundwave winced before he was filled with rage.

"Be silent." He hissed as he looked at her and glared darkly. "You've made our boys soft and they need to be punished." He said seriously.

"No... no no no please!" She screamed and glanced out into the woods. She suddenly started running towards the trees. She didn't care that she was barefoot at this point.

"Megatron!" She screamed at the top of her lungs. "Megatron!" She cried, letting her adrenaline fuel her beaten body. "They're going to kill my boy!" She screamed. Tarn was hot on her trail and tackled her to the ground before he smacked her hard. He grabbed her by the hair and dragged her back. She didn't give up and screamed louder. He shoved her down and started beating her with a stick.

"No!" Soundwave yelled angrily as he watched. "Let her go Tarn!" He shouted and the killer stopped.

"Helex, Vos. Get her in the car." He spat as he tossed her to their feet. "They're making too much noise." He growled and went towards his son. He took the whip and grabbed his son by the face. "I want to make you suffer so badly. You and your pathetic brother who thinks he's a hero." He growled angrily. Soundwave glared and spat in his face then grit his teeth.

"You're wrong. He is a hero.. and he's a better man than you'll ever be." He seethed angrily through gritted teeth. Tarn narrowed his eyes and went to his back before he whipped him hard with the rope.

He kept himself from crying out as his father whipped him. It hurt to move as the weights around his ankles pulled on him. The rope dug into his ankles and cut his skin. Helex had removed his socks and shoes to prevent them from protecting his skin. Tarn was furious with his son for not making any noise. He kept whipping him until Vos told him to hurry up. He could hear cars coming. Tarn stopped and growled angrily before tossing the whip and going to the door.

"They got passed the barricade." He growled angrily before looking back at his son. "I'll be back to finish this." He said seriously. Soundwave didn't respond as he hung there by his wrists and blood dripped down his back.

Tarn glared darkly at his nearly unconscious offspring and left as he closed the door. Beta was in the backseat sobbing as she watched for her son. She ignored her own pain as she stared at the horrible men.

"We better hurry." Vos said seriously as he glanced to the woods. "The cops will be here soon." He hissed. Tarn checked to see how many bullets there were in the cops gun as he debated on a calculated firefight.

"We better not waste time then." He said seriously and shot Vos. Nickel covered her mouth as her eyes widened and the man went down. He had just enough time to look at his leader before he was shot. He gasped as he gripped his side and looked at him in shock.

"What did-"

"What's the number one rule in our organization?" Tarn asked coldly as he cocked the gun and checked it. Vos furrowed his brow in confusion as he winced.

"I-"

"Never harm another member of the Decepticon Justice Division." He interrupted and looked at him as he narrowed his eyes. "You broke that rule when you struck Nickel." He said darkly and shot the man in the head.

Nickel paled as she stared at the scene before her. Beta covered her mouth as she watched them. She couldn't believe this. Tarn walked to the car and the remaining two followed him. Helex nodded at something he said and opened the door. They got in and drove off as Nickel sat beside Beta. Her eyes wide as she just stared at the floor.

She never told Tarn that Vos hit her. He just knew.

Megatron furrowed his brow as he walked along the road. He hadn't seen the cops or anyone else for that matter. He thought he had heard screaming and gun shots, but he wasn't sure. He thought he was following the Decepticons Justice Division, but he had gotten turned around. He stopped suddenly and cursed before kicking a rock as hard as he could. Of course he was turned around and lost.

Tarn had probably thrown him off somehow without him realizing it yet. He grumbled and cursed again before he heard a car speeding towards him. He quickly went into the woods and watched from the bushes. The car drove by carefully as it navigated without headlights. His eyes widened as he saw Beta sitting in the car while the it passed. The vehicle drove off and he ran out to the road as he narrowed his eyes. He glanced over his shoulder where the cabin must have been. He looked back to the car and clenched his fists.

One way or another he was going to end this once and for all. Even if it cost him his life.
