Hello guys. This idea just popped up in my mind yesterday after watching the episode(24 July 2018 - ep no.2698)

Thought it would have been better this way. Wanted to see them together, so just thought to pen it down. Here it is.!

(There is no Mansi-Anmol drama.)

"Main ne humesha tum pe trust kiya hai Naira, Har baar tumhare sath khara raha hun main."he spoke sternly, pointing his finger at her.

"Haan kiya bohot baar kiya, par jab karna chahiye tha tab nahi kiya."she said ignoring the sharpness of his eyes.

"Had hoti hai Naira kisi cheez ki."he again spoke, albeit calmly.

"Wohi tou main bhi keh rahi hun Kartik.. Had hoti hai kisi cheez ki. Tang agayi hun main taany sun sun kar...."she shouted but was interrupted by his even more louder voice,"Or main tum se.!"

"Mot sirf Shubham ki nahi hui thi Kartik... Humare rishty ki bhi hogayi thi..Mar gaya hai woh!"she yelled on top of her lungs. He was hurt deep inside by her sentence but damn..!His Ego..! 

He replied calmly,"Tum ne maara hai usey..! Or jo mar gaya hai usey dhhone ka koi matlab nahi hai.!"

Naira:"Ab humare pas sirf ek hi raasta bacha hai..!"

Kartik:"Haan.. DIVORCE..!"

Naira:"Haan.. DIVORCE..!"

He stepped forward, looking into her eyes,"Is baar jab sign karne jayen ge na tou sochna nahi pare ga."

"Zaroorat hi nahi bachi ab sochne ki.. Faisla ho chuka hai..!"she replied sternly, ignoring the pain she was suffering.

Kartik:"Haan.. Humare liye ab yehi sahi hai.!"

Naira:"Shayad..!"

Kartik:"Shayad nahi.. Pakka."

They turned into opposite directions. 

Tears rolled down her cheeks. She couldn't even feel the plethora of emotions she was going through. She just wanted to tell him that she loved him and nothing more matters. Her feet refused to move and her knees went numb.

He glued to his place, not facing her. As much as he hated her, he wanted to believe that she was right. But truth was what he knew. He was betrayed. Fresh tears escaped his eyes and he rubbed his face roughly to get out of this confusion.

He was hurt. She was broken. He couldn't trust her. She tried trusting him. She wanted to be with him. He wanted to hold her close.

But that wasn't possible. She was tired of being misunderstood and He was tired of explaining that He was right.

But now all they want is a DIVORCE..!

They both turned around at the same time. One look at his face and she couldn't take it anymore. She ran to him only to get caged in his strong arms. He wrapped his arms around her waist, gently stroking her hair. Her arms muffled around his neck, she inhaled sharply while caressing his neck. She cried and cried until tears refused to leave her eyes. Tears made their way down his cheeks, resting on her shoulders.

She pulled back. He craved for the missing warmth. They locked their gaze, tears cascading down their eyes.

Aahatein... Bichri saanson ki hain

Yaadein teri... Band aankhon mein hain

Tujh se juda man, Teri yaadon ki dhadkan

Jagaye mujhe

Aisi khaamoshiyon mein chhupe dil ke naghmy 

Sunaun kise

He held her hand as tight as he could and whispered," I'll always love you..!"

Raina na beete bane

O moray Saiyaan

Naina na roothay maney

She entwined their hands, losing herself in his hold. 

Tere hi saaye mein 

Khaawbon ki baahon mein

Apni kahani likhun

Hanste huay pal mein 

Roty huay pal mein

Bas teri zubani bahun

He pressed a kiss to her forehead and she smiled up at him.

Aisa apna naata kya rishta kehlata bas

Teri ban ke rahun

O moray saiyaan

Raina na beete bane

O moray Saiyaan

Naina na roothy maney

She stepped backwards, slightly pulling her hand back from his hold. 

"This was the last time we were together..!"he whispered stiffly and she rubbed a tear that escaped her eye.

"I couldn't put up...put up with that.. so ..I..I  just ran back to you. I am.. sorry.!"she replied.

She ran as fast as she could. He rooted to his spot, until she disappeared in thin air. He was lost, lost in his own world. He was beyond depressed. He couldn't name the emotions he felt. The time she left, he was like someone just stabbed his heart. 

"Naaaiiirraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa..!!!"he shouted and fell down on his knees, not able to control his pain anymore. As much his mind was telling him that she was the reason of his brothers' death, his heart was constantly reminding him of the thousand ways in which she just helped his family. The girl who was with him every time he needed her could never do this. 

He lifted his head up and saw himself standing there. That shadow of him was white and was immersed in purity.

He got up quickly and stood just in front of the shadow.

Shadow:"She isn't the reason for his death."

Kartik:"She is."

Shadow:"Just think for once. She was there by your side every time. She just wanted to save him. He thought that everyone would stop trusting him if anyone would know about this. She just came to know that. She curses herself day night that why Shubham trusted her only. But he did. Even if she would have told you, you might not be able to save him."

Kartik:"This is the problem. She doesn't trust me. "

Shadow:"She does. More than herself. She thought for everyone. May be that's her mistake. She loves you and trusts you. May be this is her mistake. You're the biggest fool Kartik. You never understood her. You never listened to her. Just started hating her for no use. Remember? She forgave Mansi for her mothers' murder. That happened. This is the truth Kartik..! Even if it was an accident, Mansi is the murderer of her mother. And, here you're punishing her for the sin she isn't responsible for.? She didn't kill him, neither did she killed your relation. Its your EGO that finished it.!

It disappeared. Kartik began looking here and there but of no use. 

"Yeh mujhse kya hogaya? Nahi.. Nairaaa..!"he mumbled and ran towards his car.

All the while tapping his hand on the steering and mumbling anything and everything. He just wanted to meet her as fast he could. He stopped the car in front of the Singhania house. 

He ran inside shouting her name. Naitik told him that she isn't here and she went to meet the lawyer.

He ran back to his car and drove off as fast he could.

She kept on walking, lost in her own world. His words ringing in her ears,"Tum ne maara hai usey.. Is baar jab sign karne jayen ge na tou sochna nahi pare ga.. Haan.. Divorce.."

She fell down on her knees, breaking down. She felt as if she was torn apart.

Zindagi nayi raahon mein hai

Yaadein teri.. Band aankhon mein hain

Phir bhi khamoshiyon mein kyun beeti wo yaadein pukare mujhe

Dil ki gehraiyon mein chhupe tere qissey rulayen mujhe

 Somewhere she knew that it was her mistake too. She should have told him. But he refused to even listen to her. She reminisced how he told her that there is nothing between them, No Love or No Trust.!

It broke her. He dropped her down from such an extent that she wasn't even able to count her broken pieces. 

And she fell.

She fell so hard that the pain was unbearable.

The injuries in her heart were fatal.

The pieces of her lied on the ground.

And the only thing that could fix her was gone.

HE WAS GONE..!

And then, she heard, "Nairaaaaaaa..!"

He saw her sitting in the middle of a secluded street, far from the city. He ran to her and shook her hard. She got startled and looked into his eyes. They held sincerity and love, all for her. But she thought may be, her eyes were getting betrayed. So, she just got up and began walking, only to be followed by him. He kept on reducing the distance between himself and her. But she couldn't trust him anymore.

"Naira.. Please.. See, I'm here to take you with me forever. We're not getting divorced. You'll always remain Mrs.Naira Kartik Goenka."

She stopped, turned around and whispered,"No.. We're getting divorced." He stepped forward and shook her shoulders,"I am sorry Naira. " She jerked his hands off before shouting,"Sorry for what Kartik? For not trusting me? For not being there with me when I needed you? For hating me for no use? For letting me go? For killing our LOVE? Or FOR BLAMING ME FOR SHUBHAMS' DEATH?"

"I told you, I wanted to save him. I wanted everyone to trust him. You might not be able to save him even after I would have told you? It hurts Kartik. It hurts to realize that the person you thought would be there with you no matter what, is the reason why you're way too broken today. How could you do this to me Kartik..? You broke my heart.. You broke us..!" She broke down, hugging him, her head resting on his chest.

Kaisa sulook Zindagi tu kar rahi hai

Mujhe paraya tu mujh hi se kar rahi hai

Jaise ke akhri si saans chal rahi hai

Yaadon se teri lipat ke

Faryad itni kare

Yahan wahan hai tu, Mujh mein rawan hai tu

He kissed her hair softly and she came back to her senses. Stepping back, she turned around after whispering,"Its over..!"

He looked on as she left.

The sun rays disturbed him as his eyes shot open. He realized he is at the same place where she left him last night. His head was supported by a tree and his messy state was the proof of his love. He got up slowly and her face flashed in front of his eyes. He needed her. He wanted to make sure she is happy. Even when it costs his happiness.

"Kartik.."a low voice broke his trance and he turned around only to find her standing there with eyeballs immersed in tears.

He walked up to her.

"Naira.. Tum jaao yahaan se. I'm not right for you. You have the right to be happy and live your life. You cannot be happy with me. I know, I may hurt you once more. Ple..."He was forced to stop as he found her lips on his within a second. They kissed passionately, showing all their love, anger and hurt at the same time.

He pulled back, their foreheads resting against each others.

"I love you.."he whispered.

"I love you more.!"she replied. His lips automatically curved up in a smile which was transferred to her too.
