*Memories* 

Aarav had been away from home for a photography project. It has been almost two weeks, I spoke to his picture "without you, I feel so lonely come back soon" 

Suddenly she started to feel dizzy, she sighed as it had happened with her two-three times. I sighed, my phone ranged and a smile appeared on her my face. 

I picked up the call and said "Aarav.. when are you returning?? I am missing you badly" 

"baby I will return by tomorrow first you tell me how are you managing the food without me?" he asked. 

"Aarav.. you know I am a bad cook jaisa banta hai kha leti hun" I replied.

He laughed, he spoke "tomorrow I will cook delicious food for you" 

I smiled hearing him and said "come soon" 

After some time I ended the call. I stood up from couch but again felt dizzy, I sat back with a thud and held my head. 

I sighed, I should visit the doctor otherwise Aarav will scold me for being careless about my health. 

I went to Ahana's clinic. She was surprised to see me, I smiled at her. 

"Manvi after a long time.." she said.

I sat down on the chair and said "yea.."

"after your marriage, Aarav had forgotten me.." she complained 

"it's not like that, you know he is always out for his photoshoots, magazine shoots.." I replied. 

"I know.. he is popular among girls" Ahana said jokingly. 

I laughed, I told her about feeling dizzy a few times and vomitting. She did my few tests and said "well.. I hope it's what I am thinking.. tomorrow I will get the reports and inform you about it" 

I shook my head in yes and left the clinic. 

The next day, Ahana called me and informed me of something to which I was left shocked. I asked for reassurance "Are you sure??"  

"yes.. congrats" saying which she disconnected the call. 

I jumped on the couch in excitement and screamed aloud. I just could not believe it, I then felt something. I quickly opened the door and saw Aarav standing there with a smile on his face. 

I hugged him tightly on the door itself "AArav...." 

He wrapped his arms around my back "I missed you" 

I broke the hug and let him in, he noticed my expressions and asked: "today you are extra excited.. why?" 

I took his palm and kept it on my belly, tears brimmed down my eyes. He looked at me with confusion. 

"now we will be a complete family Aarav.." I said

He was left surprised, he questioned"What?? I am going to be a father?" 

I nodded in yes, he lifted me up in his arms and started turning around "woohu.. what a news.. Manvi" 

He then carefully lay me on the couch and leaned on the top of me. He glanced at me lovingly and smeared my head "now you have to be extra careful, no more running around the house and been clumsy" he instructed. 

I smiled and agreed, he stood and went straight to the kitchen. I picked up his bag and took out his dirty clothes. I was shocked to see the blood on his shirt. 

I quickly went to the kitchen and made him face me, I checked his hands and face. He was confused with my act and questioned "What are you doing?" 

"Are you hurt somewhere?" I asked, eyeing him seriously. 

"no.." he denied. 

"then why there is blood on your blue shirt?" I asked showing him the shirt. 

He smiled and replied "one of my team people got hurt and it's his blood" 

I was relaxed hearing him, he pulled me closer and said "You got so worried.." 

"yes, if you get even a single scare I can't see it" I informed.. 

"Aww.. what If one day I disappear and never return?" he asked.

I shot a deadly glare at him and hit him hard on his chest "Don't ever say that.. I will kill you" 

He smiled and pulled me into in his embrace kissing my forehead... 

Present Time

Tears slipped down my eyes and I murmured "I will kill you for disappearing like this.." 

I was in the police jeep along with police officers and Mayank. He assured me "Aarav will be with you.." 

I nodded affirmatively. 

I was desperately dying to see him, I kept my hand on my belly. He will be so thrilled to see my swollen belly as the time he disappeared it was not visible. 

Within an hour we reached Pune Hospital, my heartbeat started to rase seeing the board. Everyone stepped out of the jeep, Inspector Vinay talked with the local police inspector. 

Mayank asked me to come out, I stepped out of the jeep and he took me into the hospital. There was complete silence, no one was telling me what had happened to Aarav? They took me straight to the room and I was left shocked reading the name on it. 

I stopped at the door itself, compounder opened the door. I took baby steps inwards, I saw someone lying on the stretcher with covered in white cloth. 

I went closer, the face was covered. I slowly forwarded my hand and uncovered the face. I was taken back and was left in a state of shock. 

Tears brimmed down my eyes, and I jerked him away "Aarav.. wake up.. wake up.." 

I shouted aloud.. 

But he was not responding. He was lying motionless with closed eyes. No, he can't leave me alone in this cruel world alone. 

"wake up Aarav" I screamed at him. 

Mayank tried to console me, but I pushed him back "no.... he can't die" I shouted aloud. 

"Manvi.. he meet with an accident in Delhi while returning back and was in a coma for 3 months, he was then shifted to Pune for operation but his brain injuries were very deep.. we are very sorry" inspector Vinay informed me. 

I kept my head on his chest and cried out loud hugging him tightly. 

"Aarav... I love you" 

"Manvi.. you are pregnant don't run" 

"you have to eat good food" 

"I will be back soon and won't go anywhere till your pregnancy is over" 

The doctor said "it's good you came otherwise we were about it burn his body.." 

He had been in pain for three months I was not with him during his hardship. He needed me the most, I closed my eyes "don't leave me.. like this alone" I whispered. 

Ahana kept her hand on my shoulder, I looked up at her and shouted "if you had picked up his call.. he would have been alived" 

She touched me, but I jerked her away. I felt pain and screamed "Aaah..." 

She cupped my face "mannu please don't take stress it's not good for your baby.." 

I lost my consciousness in her arms. 

3 days later

I was back to Mumbai, I was sitting down on the floor with Aarav's things around me. The police helped me perform his last rights and handed me his stuff when I back to my senses. 

I picked up his camera and checked the pictures. There were my pictures mostly, tears brimmed down my eyes. 

Then I touched his shirt which was covered in blood, I attached it close to my heart and closed my eyes. I screamed out loud "Aaaravvvv..........." 

His last smiling face came in front of my eyes, the day he left home and I opened my eyes with a jerk. I picked up the pictures which police clicked on the morgue. I  carefully looked at them but did not find anything strange..

My inner soul was not ready to accept he had left me alone only with his memories.

I hugged his picture tightly and cried whole night remembering our precious memories.

At night I saw something in my dreams and I was left shocked...
