It was the time of night, the Mehta house was decorated beautifully. People were going there and a crowd of people was already present there. Ashish and Neela maa were welcoming the guest.

They were standing at a good distance but Neil can see her tears. Neil got sad but then he smiled and he sighed Avni smile. Avni smiled.

Dayawanti Mehta came to Neela maa and they talked. Neela maa nodded. She held Avni's arm.

Nm: Avni, tum apne room main jao and touch up kar lo.

Avni nodded and then she looked at Neil. She couldn't believe her eyes.

Neela maa smiled fakely to see people.

Nm: woh aaj engagement hai na to emotional ho gai.

They smiled. Neela maa sighed Avni to go. Avni nodded and she saw Neil one last time. Avni went. Neil was looking at her.

Neela maa came and she greeted the Khanna family and welcomed them. They came inside.

The makeup artist did Avni's touch-up.

The parents were present on the stage. Shweta forwarded the decorated plate to Neil and he picked up the ring from the box.

Neela maa sighed and smiled while clapping her hands.

Everyone was happy and they were enjoying themselves but their happiness was of some time. Neil's phone rang and Avni looked at him. Everyone's smile faded. Neil took out his phone. Neil charged his phone at the Mehta house. Neil was looking at the phone and Avni was also looking at his phone. Neil looked at Avni and then he looked at others. Neil was feeling awkward and guilty. It was DD's call. Neil picked up the call.

Neil talked in a low voice: Hello, DD, kya baat hai? Tu janta hai ke...

Neil stopped to hear the other side. Neil was shocked.

Neil: what?

Everyone was looking at him.
