"Sir, Mr. Oberoi is here"

      Said one peon coming into Dr. Kunal Sehgal's cabin.

"Ohh.... Ask him to come in two minutes"

      Dr. Kunal said looking up from one file. That peon nodded and left from there. After exact two minutes, someone knocked on the door.

"Come in"

      Dr. Sehgal said looking at the door. Dr. Sehgal's smile changed into the frown when he saw
a long haired man there. That man came inside and says in soft tone,

"Hello doctor."

      He said coming towards Dr. Sehgal's desk.

"Oh, Prof. Om you came?? I thought Mr. Oberoi came to meet me. And I was so surprised."

      Dr. Sehgal said shaking his hand with Om.

"It's equal to impossible Doctor."

      He said with a small smile and Dr. Sehgal asked him to sit. He sat on one chair.

"Yeah I know it's equal to impossible. But it's high time we need to make it possible Om."

      Dr. Sehgal said in serious tone and Om looked at him worriedly.

"What happened Dr. Sehgal, is everything alright?"

"Nothing is alright Om. How many times I have told you to bring your brother with you. He need regular checkups. But you never listened to me."

"I am sorry doctor. But you know him na. He thinks he is alright and don't need any treatment at all. Me and Rudy convinced him but he....."

"He is too stubborn. I know that."

      Dr. Sehgal completed his sentence and he just nodded.

"Yeah. You know na I blackmailed him then only he was ready to do all those tests. Warna he was not going to do that tests and all. That reminds me, his reports came?"

      Om asked in a serious tone.

"Yeah. It came n they are as per my expectations. Have a look."

      Dr. Sehgal said passing him one file.

"Is anything serious doctor?"

      Om asked before looking at those reports.

"Serious?? No Om not only serious, they are very dangerous. His health condition is too worst now."

      He said and Om's eyes gets moisten at that. He opened that file and looked at the reports.

"I understand he is stubborn but we have to take care of his health na."

      Dr. Sehgal said and Om just nodded looking at those reports. After reading them, he looked at Dr. Sehgal.

"Any.....Any solution Dr. Sehgal?"

"Yeah.....only one. And I told you about that before also. He needs a proper treatment. And proper means PROPER.."

      Dr. Sehgal said stressing on the word proper.

"Yes Dr. Sehgal but you know him na, he will never agree for that and......"

"Then we have to make him agree this time. Just think that it's his last chance."

      Dr. Sehgal said and Om looked at him shocked.

"L..... Last...C.....Chance... Last chance??....."

"Yes we have to consider it's his last chance. Let's see if we can able to make him agree by this."

      Dr. Sehgal said and Om was  lost in thoughts.

"Om, relax. We can save him. But for that we have to start his treatment as soon as possible, ok?"

      Dr. Sehgal said and Om just nodded. Dr. Sehgal continues,

"And this time treatment has to be done with so much care without skipping any tests, any medicines, any food."

"That's impossible doctor. You know him na? He will never do something like this."

"So you want your brother to suffer from heart attack or wants his heart to stop working?"

      Dr. Sehgal asked sternly. Om was taken a back after listening to Dr. Kunal Sehgal.

"N.....no doctor. I..... I want him fit n fine. But....but he..... What to do with him? How can I convince him?"

      Om said helplessly. Dr. Sehgal kept his hand over Om's.

"We have to be strong Om. For him."

      Om nodded.

"Ok doctor, I will talk to him. I will try to convince him."

      Om said and Dr. Sehgal smiled.

"Good. Om, I want to talk to you about something else too."

"Yes doctor, say it"

"I am thinking, your brother needs proper treatment now and more importantly best treatment. And for that we need one best surgeon."

      Dr. Sehgal said and Om looked at him confused.

"Best surgeon?"

"Yeah. Best surgeon. It will be good."

"Why not you doctor?"

      Om asked still confused about the term 'best surgeon'.

"He needs someone who will more good than me. Ummm.... Yeah I have one best surgeon for his case. And she will be best for him."

"She??...Who is she????"

"She is one of the best heart surgeon in this world. She is very successful at very young age. Till now her all surgeries are successful. And I am sure he will be perfectly fine if we give his case to her. 100% guarantee."

"Really?? If she is so good I am glad to give Shivaay's case to her."

"Yeah. But for that he have to be ready for the treatment first. I can guarantee about her treatment, but I can't guarantee about Mr. Oberoi's answer. Will he say yes to treatment or no.....For that he have to be agree na, she is a doctor not any consultant or his relative or friend that she will convince him for the treatment too."

      Dr. Sehgal said and Om chuckled sadly.

"Kaash...... Kaash it was possible doctor. But we can't able to convince him, how will she do that. You know him na, he is too stubborn and not listening to you, me or Rudy. Toh he will never listen to anyone else. Not also any consultant then forget that doctor about whom you are talking now."

      Om said and they both laughed.

"By the way doctor, She is in this hospital? Can I meet her? So that that we will decide about Shivaay."

"No she is not here in India"

"Really?? So that means we have to go to the other country for treatment?"

"No no. She is coming to India in next 2-3 days for her friend's wedding."

"So she is coming for her holidays na? Why will she take his case then?"

"You don't worry about that. She is always ready to take any case. Already she is going to handle two cases in this hospital. So I will talk to her about Mr. Oberoi's case too."

"Ok, as you say. Can I leave now?"

"Yeah. But talk with Mr. Oberoi as soon as possible. If he is ready we can start his treatment from next week."

"Ok I will call you."

"Ok fine. And I will inform you once I talk with her."

"Ok doctor byee."

      Dr. Sehgal said bye to him and he left from his cabin.

"I know she will be ready for this. But still I have to talk to her about this case."

      Dr. Sehgal said to himself before continuing his work.

Phoenix Hospital,
3:00 AM,

      Two young male doctors were hurriedly walking towards the operation theater of the hospital.

"There is only 1% chance. I don't think we can do it."

       Said one of them while walking. Another one nodded and said,

"Yes you are right. We can't able to save her. It's nearly impossible."

      "Impossible itself states I am possible." Came a stern female voice. Both turned and saw one lady doctor who was adjusting her mask. She came to them. One of the two tried to explain,

"But doctor T....."

"Your excuses can wait but not her life. So can we go fast now?"

       She said moving forward. They nodded and followed her.

"Instead of thinking negatively , you should think like what can we do to save her.... What if we perform this operation successfully... Then that happiness on her face, on her parents face is more times better than these baseless talks."

      She said and soon they reached the Operation theatre. They went inside hurriedly.

After 2 hours,

Outside of the Operation theatre,

      The three of them came outside while removing their hand gloves. 

"Thank you so much doctor, First for taking her case and now for saving her life."

      They three turned towards the voice and saw one couple in their fourties. They said it with tears in their eyes. That two male doctors just smiled.

"It's all because of her."

      Said one of them pointing towards her. She came to that couple and just smiled.

"You are really a god. You are an angel who came to the save my girl."

      The lady in that couple said to her. She just laughed.

"Hahaha. Mam, God is only one. But yeah he is in everyone's heart. So why will he allow anyone to damage his own place. So, he himself removed that hole from Nasya's heart. We are just helping hands."

"But still thank you."

      Nasya's father said and she smiled before saying,

"She will be fine soon. Take care of her now. N excuse me please."

       She said and left from there removing her mask. She came to her cabin and ran to the restroom.

      She opened the tap and washed her face with cold water. And then wiped her face with towel and looked into the mirror.

"Hushhh..... Finally... Now feeling energetic again."

      She said setting her hairs properly. And then walked back to her cabin and sat on her chair. She took her phone which was on table and was about to open it when she heard a voice from intercom, that said she needs in the imergency room right now. As soon as she heard this she stood up. Then she kept her mobile back and ran out of her cabin with her white coat.

After 1 hour,

      Finally she have done all her work and was ready to go home now. She entered into the lift and smiled as she saw Dr. Martin there.

"Going home?"

      Dr. Martin asked and she nodded.

"You have done fabulous job lady. Three surgeries in last 45 hours. I am proud of you"

"Thank you Dr. Martin"

      She said smilingly.

"You are here from more than 48 hours now. You must be very tired. Go n rest. "

"Yeah I am very much tired but with that I am happy and satisfied too. All three surgeries went well."

"Yeah. And now you are totally free and can enjoy your holidays."

      Before she says something they reached the ground floor and came out of the lift.

"Yes, can't wait for it. Now I have to go byee."

         She said with a bright smile and turned to go but Dr. Martin stopped her.

"I forgot one thing. You can enjoy as much you want, but don't forget to bring some mangoes n m...mi...mit...mait... what's that?"

      He said scratching his head trying to pronounce it correctly.

"Mithai??"

      She asked controlling her laugh.

"Yeah that one. Last time your mom bought for us, and that was very delicious. I have fallen in love with it n want to taste it again."

"Sure Dr. Martin I will bring one separate big box for you.Happy?"

"Very much."

     He said with a wink and big smile.

"Ok, now I am leaving byee."

"Byee."

      Dr. Martin said and she ran from there and came to the parking area and went towards her car. She kept her bag at backside and then opened the door at driver's side. She was about to sit in the car but stopped as she heard,

"Aaniekha....."

     She smiled widely as she heard that voice and turned. There was one old lady standing with the help of walking stick. She closed the car door and came to that lady.

"Naani, How many times I have told you my name is Annika...not Aaniekha"

"That's what I said my child, Aaniekha."

"Naani...... Annika....A A.....Anni....And it's...k..k.Annika..... now say it."

"Aa...nie...ka..... Aanieka"

     That old lady said and she hits her own forehead. Then hugged that old lady and smiled.

"Aaniekha also sounds good by your mouth naani. N my naani can call me by any name which she likes, right? Leave that, tell me how are you n Mr. Lee is all ready to go home?"

"I am fine my child but now I am happy and sad too."

      She broke the hug and looked at that lady.

"Why? What happened to my lovely naani?"

      She asked taking her hands in her.

"I am happy because George is perfectly fine now n we can go home in next 2-3 days. But I am sad that I will not able to meet you from tomorrow na?"

"Ohh my naani, you are sad about that? Don't worry I will come to your house to meet you...You promised me that you will cook some good dishes for me, right?"

      She asked and that old lady smiled.

"Yeah yeah. I have decided already what will I make for you."

"Naani you are so sweet."

      She said pulling that old lady's cheeks. They both were busy in talking about some random stuff when one nurse came there.

"Mrs. Lee we were going to do some tests of Mr. Lee n he wants you beside him for that."

      That nurse said and she gave teasing smile to that old lady.

"Mr. Lee is in so much love with you, naani. See he wants you near him all the time. When I did his surgery he was saying please take care of my wife if she cries too much. He loves you so much."

      She said and that old lady's cheeks turned into red.

"OMG naani you are blushing. At this age too?? Hmmm I am sure Mr. Lee also loves to see this blush, right?"

      She said and that old lady slapped on her cheek playfully.

"Don't tease me Aaniekha. You will understand when you fall in love, when you will find your soulmate."

"Naani, now don't come at me ok?"

      She said in fake anger and that old lady smiled.

"You are going to India right, n you love your India a lot. Then see you will find him there only. And you will come back here with him only. Yeah that means I have to prepare something for him too. Ok do one thing, when you likes someone then just ask him his favorite dishes and then tell me. Untill you guys creats your love story I will practice on those dishes and then make it when you will come to our home with him."

      That lady said dreamingly and she looked down hiding her pink cheeks from that lady.

"Naani, hold your horses ok? Stop imagining things."

"Ok I will start my imagination when you will call me after meeting him first time."

      That lady said controlling her laugh and she blushed.

"Naani, go to your George now. You are taking revenge na, fine I will not tease you now."

"That's like my girl."

      She smiled at that.

"Ok go now and tell Mr. Lee that I will come for their last checkup before leaving from here. I have my checkup round tomorrow morning."

      That lady nodded and she kissed her cheek and old lady left from there. She stood there waving her hand at that old lady as she was also doing the same.
     
"Mam, naani means what?"

      That nurse asked her after that old lady left from there.

"Naani means grandmother. Mother's mom."
     
      She said looking at her.

"Oh....but then how Mrs. Lee is your grandmother?"

"Haha. No she is not my naani by blood relation. But when I saw her I remembered my naani. And she also said I am like her granddaughter who is in medical college too."

"Ohh.... Got it."

      That nurse said with a smile.

"Ok now I have to go. Byee."

      She said and went towards her car. And then drove towards her house, Trivedi House.

Trivedi House,

      She parked the car in hurry and ran inside the house.

"Dad, mom..... I came."

      She shouted in the top of her voice. One servant, Maria came into the hall when she heard her voice.

"Annika baby, sir n mam is not in the house."

      Annika turned towards Maria.

"Really? But they said that they will....."

      Before she continues her phone buzzed. It was video message from Mr. HarshVardhan Trivedi, her dad.

"Aunty you go n do your work."

      She said looking at her phone sadly.

"Can I set breakfast table for you?"

      Maria asked and she just said nodded. And then moved towards the stairs. She opened that video message while climbing the stairs. She smiled when her dad waves at her. She increased volume and looked at the screen with grumpy face.

"Hello Dr. Busy Vardhan Trivedi, can I have appointment with you tonight?"

      She rolled her eyes on this and her father laughed.

"I know I know it's me who is busy right now. But what to do princess, too much work pending. And my one important meeting preponed so I left without meeting you today."

      She smiled and nodded at that.

"But see, you and me met before 2 days only. But I met your mom before one week. Can you imagine it?? I didn't see my jaan from so long. I think I will suffer from heart problem now if I don't see her soon. N then you have to treat me."

      Said HarshVardhan Trivedi in over dramatic voice and Annika laughed.

"You romance will never end mom-dad."

      She said looking at her mobile screen.

"Now don't curse our romance,ok? You are the outcome of that only. So behave. N by the way, you always laughs on our romance na, you just wait n watch when you will fall in love na, I am not going to leave you both. I will disturb you each n everytime."

      He said and she laughed and blushed at the same time.

"Ok leave all this. I am sending this message to tell you, me n your mom is busy for whole day. She will come home in evening. I know I know you must be angry with us. But what to do my jaan, too busy with work as I told you. N your mom is stuck with some complicated case."

     She reached her room by now and then jumped on her bed. And again continued watching that video.

"So, I am inviting you for the special date, that I arranged for three of us tonight. So that we three can spend some quality time with each other before you leave for India. So be ready for that in evening. N now just rest for sometime and then go to the airport."

"Airport??"

      She was confused.

"Forgot about it na? I knew it. How many times I have told you that eat almonds but you.....Ok now stop giving me angry glares. Bata raha hu. Mallika is coming today."

      She got up and stood on the bed in shock.

"OMG how can I forget about that?"

      She said while looking at the clock.

"Now don't waste your time cursing yourself. Go have some rest n then go to the airport."

      She looked at her phone again when her father said that.

"Ok now I have to go. Byee. Be ready on time. Love you."

      He said with a smile and she smiled back at him.

"Love you too Dad."

      She said and put her phone on bed.

"I am so stupid. How can I forgot about Mallika? Before she came I have to buy some nice gift for her. "

      She said thinking about what to get for her best friend.

"I can rest later. First I will go to the mall and then to the airport."

      She decided and went to the washroom to have a bath.

      She came back after having a bath and then came downstairs after getting ready.

"Annika baby your breakfast is ready. Eat this n have rest."

      Maria said when she came to the dinning table.

"Thank you aunty. But I am going to the mall after having it. I have to buy something for Mallika before she comes."

      She said and sat on the chair. But before she eat something her phone started ringing. It's from her hospital to inform her that there is some imergency and she have to come fast.

      She asked Maria to pack her breakfast and went to her room to get her bag. She came to the Maria again and took her tiffin box from her.

"But Annika baby, now what about gift?"

"I will get it at some other time aunty. Right now I have to go n treat my patient. N yeah if I don't come after 3 hours too, then ask driver to go n pick Mallika from airport."

"What?? But Mallika will feel bad if you don't go to the airport?"

"She will not have any problem aunty. She knows for me my duty n my patients always comes first, all other things are after that."

      She said and Maria just nodded.

"Ok I am leaving now. Byee"

      She said and left from there.
