Mahi was getting ready for her mehendi plus sangeet function. Yes, both the functions take place at the same time, at same place because she wants it.

She smiled at the reflection she saw in the mirror. She was fixing her ear piece when her sisters entered the room to take her downstairs.

"Aai hai aai kya lag rahi hai" Haritika said winking, while Priya whisteled lowly. Arpita, the youngest of the four hugged Mahi.

"Aap bahot pyaar lag rahe ho" She said as Mahi pulled her cheeks.

"Thank you khargosh" She said as Arpita chuckled.

"Achha ab chalen, jija ji palke bichhe bethe hain" Priya said as everyone laughed seeing Mahi blush.

Downstairs

Aavyan was sitting with the whole college gang and Shivika. While others were talking and having fun, he was anxiouly waiting for Mahi to arrive.

"Imtehaan ho gayi intezaar ki.....aayi na kuchh khabar mere yaar ki" Mahir sang as he noticed Aavyan looking way too excited.

"Ye hame hai yaken bewafa wo nahi.....phir wajh kya hui...intezaar ki" Bani continued as Aavyan lowered his lashes blushing.

The sound of ankletes made all of them look towards the stairs except Aavyan. Mahi sat down a few feets away, from Aavyan looking at him with a smile.

"Ek baar palken uthake apni rani ko dekh to le" Bella said as Aavyan looked up and his breathe got caught in his throat.

She was looking so beautiful in that attire, he can feel his heart slam against his ribcage, almost ready to jump out.

After the mehendi was done the sangeet performances began and the first one was Behir and Vani.

Mahi smiled as two couple danced on the stage. The next people to hit the dance floor was Shivika .

Mahi laughed seeing both of them happy and so in love. Her brother was someone she has always loved and protected and seeing him happy felt nice.

Her eyes widened as Priya and Haritika danced on the song. 'These girls are total crazy' She thought as Vaishnavi and Arpita got up for their performance.

Applause rang in the room as the last performance finished. Mahir looked between Aavyan and Mahi who were talking through their eyes, with a smirk.

"Mein kya keh raha tha" He said getting everyone's attention. Aavyahi broke the eye contact turning to him.

"Hum sabne to dance kar liya, ab ek dance to dulha dulhan ka bhi banta hai" He said as Aavyahi's jaw dropped.

"Thik keh rahe hain Mahir ji, ek dance to banta hai" Bella said as everyone else also agreed with them.

After a lot of convincing and whining Aavyahi agreed to dance. Everyone took a seat excited to watch the couple dance together.

At the end Aavyan took Mahi's hand and pulled her closer as the music stopped. Both of them were totally lost in each other.

Their trance once everyone clapped and whisteled watching their performance. The couple blushed getting down the stage.

It was night time, a peaceful silence covered the house as Mahi sat infront of the mirror removing her jewellery when the dance moments flashed in her mind again.

A smile appeared on her lips as she thought about her love. He is pure, kind and filled with love. The calmn to her storm, the shore to her sea and the Krishn to her Radha.

Her line of thoughts broke when a gunshot rang in the house followed by a scream. She immediately ran out of the room.

Her eyes widened as she saw one of her worst nightmare infront of her, Shivay was lying in the pool of his own blood.

Everyone came in action as they rushed him to the hospital where he was immediately taken to the OT.

After The Operation

"ESE KESE NAHI MIL RAHI!!!!" Mahi roared at Ridhima as she informed her about her failure to find the medicine Shivay needed.

"Shhh....shant ho jaao Mahi, gehri saans lo" Aavyan said as Mahi hugged him finally letting herself cry. She has sent everyone else home with bodyguards, since it was best for their safety.

"Ye sab kya ho gaya?" She said as sobs wrecked through her body. Aavyan tightened his grip as tears slipped down his cheeks too.

"Koi raasta to hoga Mahi....hum ese haar nahi maan sakte" He said as the voice of heel hitting the floor made them pull away.

"Tum!!" Mahi exclaimed as her blood started boiling.

"Haan mein. Aur pata hai kya mere paas tumhari problem ka solution bhi hai, ye jo hai mere pass" She said opening her fist to reveal her holding a medicine bottle.

"Aaa.....itni jaldi kya hai" She said pulling her hand back when Mahi tried to snatch it from her hand.

"Mahira..."

"Mein tumhe ye davaa dedungi lekin meri ek shart hai" She said cutting Mahi off.

"Kya chahiye tumhe"

"Aavyan" She replied making Aavyan's eyes widen and Mahi to fist her hand.

"Agar apne bhai to bachana chaahti ho to kal apni jagah mandap mein mujhe bethao aur meri aur Aavyan ki shaadi karao"  She continued.

"Aur sirf naam ki shaadi nahi, mujhe biwi ka har hak chahiye" She said eyeing Aavyan as the events of that day came back in his mind making him hug himself.

She extended both of her hands, one held the medicine and other was empty waiting for Aavyan's to be given into her's.

Aavyan looked at Shivay through the window, he was fighting for his life while Mahi can literally feel her heart shatter between her love and brother.

Her eyes widen as Aavyan slipped his hands in Mahira's. He took the medicine from her another hand and gave it to Mahi with a painful smile.

"Shivay ki jaan bachane ke liye mujhe ye shaadi....manzur hai" He said as tears dropped down his eyes as well as Mahi's and only person happy in this whole scenario was Mahira who was smiling a war winning smile.

Tomorrow is going to be a eventful day...
