Aavyan sat by the window of his room as a chilly night wind blew pass him. He was looking at the part of garden he proposed Mahi at, the place where he was suppose to get love and not pain.

A sigh left his lips when he closed his red and swollen eyes as the memory came back to him. The night that has bought this suffering was clear in his mind like it was just yesterday.

Flashback

Aavyan pulled Mahi towards him when he saw someone aiming a gun at her makking her fall on top of him.

Mahi looked at Aavyan, his eyes held fear and worry and that pissed her off. The guards came up to help their boss followed by Shivay who took Aavyan inside.

While they were engaged in a fight Mahi noticed Mahira sneaking in the mansion and rushed behind her. Just as Mahira was about to open the door of Aavyan's room Mahi pulled her off and both the girls got in a fight.

They didn't realise when they reached the terrace while fighting. Mahi grabbed Mahira's hand as she tried to punch her and twisted it making her scream in pain.

Aavyan was pacing in his room with so many questions in his mind. What the hell was happening? Was he caught in a mafia fight? and most important. Where was Mahi?

Suddenly his heart skipped a beat and something shifted inside him. He knew this feeling very well, he was going to loose something presicous.

His heart started beating at a inhuman pace as he opened the door and rushed out of the room. Hearing commotion from the terrace he ran to the terrace.

"MAHI!!!!" He yelled as he saw Mahira and Mahi fighting on the edge of the terrace. His world stopped as Mahira kicked Mahi off the roof. He  ran forward to the edge and caught the hold of the pocket knife Mahi had as a weapon against Mahira.

While Mahira left the place in a hurry seeing Shivay done with her men and entering the mansion.

Aavyan's face contarcted as pain kept shooting through his hand. His arm was not only getting scraped from the wall but the blade peirced his hand more and more as he held the blade side of the knife.

Seeing him in such pain was unbearable for Mahi her eyes filled with tears as she started letting fo of the knife.

"Nahi....nahi nahi....Mahi please nahi" Aavyan said realising what she was about to do but only got a smile in return as she finally let go.

She first hit her head on the extended tree branch  and then fell in the pool as Aavyan cried seeing the pool water turn red slowly.

End Of Flashback

And this was not even the worst part. His heart cracked when the doctor said Mahi has suffered a memory loss and only remembers bits and pieces of her life and he was not in them.

For many days Aavyan struggled to cope up with those incidents. He stayed locked in his room without eating or doing anything. All he did was cry and exhaust him to the point of sleeping.

Shivay and Ishika got engaged after he told them about his and Mahi's involvement in underworld but without any celebration because it was done more for making Shivay's support to them reasonable, keeping them safe and less out of love.

Seeing the life slowly leaving his brother's soul making him a alive corpse pained Ishika to ger core. She decided to send him to New York until somethings get sorted and she finds out the exact will of her father.

In New York Aavyan became a top singer in no time as he sung both hindi and english songs. Technically his dream was coming true but his eyes once filled with love were now divoied of any emmotion.

Till date Rudra's beating has only broken him physically but whatever happened with Mahi broke his soul. He was just surving life instead of living it, like it was a burden.

The next morning Aavyan woke up in the same position, beside the window sill. One more night of crying himself to sleep.

He got up and strerched his body cracking his neck a bit. He checked his phone for any messages to only find that he has to record a song for Shivay and nothing else. He smiled at his lock screen, a picture Mahi agreed to take after a lot of pleading, and smiled unknowingly.

After wiping the corner of his eyes he went to get ready. Here Mahi was all set to leave for office, Shivay was the new CEO but Mahi was still the owner. She was waiting for Shivay when Aavyan came out of his room ready to leave.

'He is hot' Her mind said as she stared at him openly and a blur memory of a guy flashed in her mind.

Before she can even get a clear view the image disappeared. Aavyan looked at her distressed expressions but said nothing, he can't because even if a single thing realted to the past or his feelings slipped from his mouth nobody knows how Mahi would take it and what effect would ir have on her.

As Mahi sat beside Shivay in the recording room looking at Aavyan strumming his guitar on the other side of the glass she felt very familiar like it has happened bedore. She lost herself as he started singing.

Sapna jahan dastak na de

Baaton se thi tadaad mein

Their first meeting flashed in Aavyan's mind. The way Mahi's arrival started changing his life for better, he didn't even notice when he started falling for her.

Mere dil mein jagah Khuda ki khaali thi
Dekha wahan pe aaj tera chehra hai
Main bhatakta huaa sa ek baadal hoon
Jo tere aasmaan pe aake thehra hai

She came as a light in his life pulling out of the hell's darkness that surrounded him from all sides, to him she was as important as God.

Taa-umr main tera saaya banu
Keh de toh ban jaaun bairaag main
Kehde toh main teri maaya banu
Tu saaz hai, main ragini
Tu raat hai, main chandni

The day he he decided to propose her was a beautiful memory at least half of it. The time they spent together was something he still cherished and would always keep cherishing.

He prayed to God every single day to have some mercy on him and return at least her friend Mahi to him. He was ready to pay any prise for making her normal again even it meant that he has to keep his feelings inside forever.

As he sung another picture flashed in Mahi's head as it started aching.

She held her head for a minute once the image vanished again. She stepped out of the room she saw people crowding around Aavyan appreciating him.

She went and stood infront of him as everyone returned to their work. Aavyan looked at her confusingly while Mahi's mind started filling with blur images.

"Mahi? tum thik ho" He said as Mahi swayed from side to side holding her head. She rasied her finger in his direction but before she can say anything she lost consiciousnes as Aavyan caughr her.
