Madhav woke up listening to someone shouting. He got up rubbing his eyes like a kid trying to get rid of the sleep in them.

He looked at Mahi frowing in her sleep due to the loud voices. He snapped his fingers as sheild type structure appeared around the bed blocking away the noise and Mahi again went in a deep sleep.

Madhav smiled at her cute face and then vanished from there to check what the shouting was about.

Location: Royal Court, Khilchatra

Khalid was shouting at his court of ministers as the revenue collection has declined suddenly. Keshav on Mahi's order has decreased the revenue collection making Khalid recieve lesser monthly credit.

"Hamare hukm ke bina ye nirne kesa liyaa gya.....kisne liya" Khalid roared as the minister controlled themselves from giving him a reply...they can't let him get suspicious of Mahi.

"Hamne diya" Keshav said entering the court as Madhav sat on Khalid's throne with closed eyes listening and enjoying the chaos his love created.

"Mahamantri.....pranam" Khalid said with clenched teeth. Keshav fisted his hands as the things Mahi told him came back to his mind.

"Hume lag ki kar kuchh adhik hi baadh gaya tha isliye hamne ye aadesh diya......aapko koi aapti" He asked as Khalid nodded reluctantly.

Days went by and the Khilchatra drowned in chaos as Mahi's heart slowly started filling with satisfaction and longing for Madhav.

"Kya keh raho!!!" Khalid yelled as servant informed him of a protest people has started against him and some warriors who were defending them physically by killing the soldiers who went to stop them.

Listening to all this Haseena remembered the conversation she had with Mahi and her blood ran cold.

She got up and ran outside the palace to the temple where Mahi would be.

Location: A Shiv Temple Outside Palace, Khilchatra

Mahi was sitting infront of the shivling praying. A smile appeared on her face as a memory came back in her mind when some kids laughter fell in her ears.

Flashback

Madhav and Mahi were in the royal gardens playing around. After Madhav have made the promise to spend the last few weeks before the war with only Mahi their bond and love have only gotten stronger.

Mahi's chuckle rang in the air as a bindfolded Madhav tried to catch her but failed as she got away.

"Kya hua Maharaj.....hame pakadna asambhav pratit ho raha hai??" She said and doughed another one of Madhav's attempt to catch her.

"Esa kuchh nahi hai Maharani....aap sachet rahiye.....hum pakad lenge" He said in a cute voice.

Mahi laughed again as his attempts kept failing. Madhav followed the sound of her anklets and her fragrance trying his best to catch her.

Mahi looked behind her to find herself alone. She stopped running and looked around.

"Pakad liya" Madhav's voice fell in her ear as his arms wrapped around her waist. She turned her neck and smiled at him opening his blondfold.

"Aapne to wakai hume pakad liya" She said freeing herself from his grip and walking behind him as his eyes follwed her.

"Kintu...." She said keeping her head on his shoulder.

"Do bara pakad ke dhikaye to hum mane" She said pushing him froward and running away as he huffed and ran behind her.

End Of Flashback

Madhav who was sitting behind beside Mahi looking at her grinned seeing her smiling.

"Maharani sahiba!!!" Hassena's voice broke his trance but Mahi remained unaffected.

"Yeh sab aap hine kiya hai haina..........kintu hume ye nahi samjh aarha ki hamare shauhar ke samrajy mein jo bhi ho raha hai wo aap akeli kese kar rahi hain.....wo bhi bina apne kaksh le nikle" She said raising her volume.

"Prem mein bahot shakti hoti hai Begum ye duniya hila sakta hai.......ye to fir bhi aapke Sultan ka chhota sa samrajy hai. Hum ye sab apne prem ke liye hi to kar rahe hain" She said her eyes still closed, hands still joined.

"Kintu kyun, mante hain hamare shohar ne galat kiya kintu is tarah unka jeevan barbaad karne se kya milega aapko, aapke Maharaj nahi lautenege........Madhav mar chuke hain...wo kabhi wapis nahi aane waale" Hassena said as pissing off Mahi who opened her eyes immediately.

"Kya milega hame.......sookun...hriday mein jo agni jal rahi wo shaant tabhi hogi jab hum aapke shauhar ke pran lenge.....jese unhone hamre Madhav ke liye the" She roared turning to Haseena starling her while Madhav just sat their enjoying the tigeress, his tigeress roaring.

"Ab aap bas dekhiye Begum apni ankhon ke samaksh sab barbaad hote hue......jese hamne dekha tha" She said and left.
