Mahi  felt like crying for some reason since she came back from the temple. Last night also seemed to stretch longer than usual with no sign of sleep for her.

Right now she was sitting infront of the mirror as Pragati was tying a necklace around her neck. Suddenly she felt something and turned around just as a servant came there with grim expression.

"Maharani Adhiraj ji laut aaye hain aur badi rani aur bade maharaj bhi aae hain" She said.

"Aur chhote maharaj?" She asked as a known fear rose in her but she refused to accept it. The maid said nothing but kept her head lowered conferming her suspisions.

"Nahi.." She mumbled and ran out of the room without most of her jewellery with Pragati following her.

She stopped running once she came at the entrance and took slow steps towards the place Gauri was sitting crying her eyes out.

The sound of her anklelets echoed with the horrific sobs of the elder queen. The hope she held for so long shattered as tears rolled down her cheeks.

Adhiraj looked at her and then hung his head low in guilt of his inability to protect her husband as she walked past him and Shivansh.

She stepped beside Gauri to witness the veiw she feared the most.

Her love lying there, lifless infront of her. Reality hit her with full force as she fell on knees by his side and started  crying.

Pragati came running behind Mahi she looked at  Adhiraj after witnessing the scene infront of her. His eyes held guilt and pain which she read right away. She stood beside him and held his hand lightly squeezing it.

"Aapna vachan diya tha hume aap laut aayenge hamare paas......us vachna ko aap kese kod sakte hain" Mahi said between the sobs. Looking at his face again she totally broke down once again and kept her head on his chest as a fresh trail of trees started flowing from her eyes.

A figure walked towards the grand hall to see the royal family.

Madhav appeared at the entrance of the grand hall and his face fell seeing her bhabhi maa and Mahi crying so much.

'Hamare prem mein kadaachit inti shakti nahi thi jo wo inka rakshan kar paati' Mahi thought as she caressed Madhav's face.

"Ye aapki prem ki hi to shakti hai Mahi jisne mrityu ke pashchaat bhi hame ek chetna ke roop mein hi sahi kintu is lok mein rok rakha hai" Madhav said but nobody reacted as they can't hear or see him.

Madhav observed his family grieving his loss. Later on while the males went on to criminate his body he stayed back to watch over the females.

His eyes teared up as he saw his love taking the get up of a widow.

He wiped off his tears and pledged to not leave her alone even for a second now.
