Next Morning..

It's already 8 in the morning and Vineet was still sleeping peacefully.

Daksh was in the washroom, taking a shower when he realised that he had forgotten the towel. He turns off the shower and slightly opens the door of the bathroom and shouts.

'Vineet.. Vineet uth.. Jara towel pass kar.. Vineet.'' He shouts, but his voice didn't affect Vineet.

'vineett. Uth..'' Daksh shouts again, Vineet sleep gets disturb by his loud voice, but he ignores him and sleeps in a more cozy position, hugging the pillow and turns to the other side.

'Vineet' this time Daksh shouts angrily.

Vineet put a pillow on his head, so that Daksh voice wouldn't affect his sleep..

Daksh sighed, as by now he understood that Vineet is not going to get up from bed.. He wore his pants and stepped into the room. He takes the towel from the cupboard and turns. His eyes fell on Vineet, who was sleeping on the bed.. Daksh smirk as an idea strikes his mind, he picks up the water glass from the side table and splashes it on his face. Vineet opens his eyes instantly and sits up with a jerk.

'what the hell?? Ye kya kiya tumne' Vineet shouted glaring at him.

Daksh grinned at him,''aab soo. Uss samay se towel towel chilla raha hoon, aur tu sun ke bhi unsuna kar raha hai. Aab so jaa aache se, blanket odh ke' Daksh said teasingly

'jaise abhi aaya, waise hi pehle bhi toh aa sakta tha. Chillana jaroori tha, ek towel ke liye meri neend kharab kar di' Vineet makes faces.

'tu ne mujhe towel nahi di badle mei meine teri neend bigad di. Hisab barabar' Daksh winked at him..

In reply Vineet hit a pillow on his face, Daksh glared at him but hit him with the towel and the fight began. Both started a pillow - towel fight.

They were busy fighting when Sakshi entered the room and was left shocked to see them fighting. She shouts.

'kya ho raha hai ye?? Vineet, Daksh kyun lad rahe ho dono?? '' Shakshi asked as she marched towards them.

''Mom! Dekho main soo raha tha aur Daksh ne mere upar pani phek diya 'Vineet complaint pointing to Daksh.

Daksh retorts,''pehle isne mujhe towel nahi diya. Main bathroom mei naha raha tha, iski wajah se mujhe aadha naha ke towel lene aana pada.'' Daksh too complained.

' ye towel bhula gaya toh iski galti hai... Main kyun apni neend bigadu 'Vineet exclaims his point.

Shakshi had it enough,

'' bass karo dono, Daksh jaa ke nahao aur Vineet tum bhi jaa ke nahao.''she ordered.

' main iske saath kyun nahau 'Vineet question making faces.

'main tumhe tumhare bathroom mei nahane ko bol rahi hoon, Daksh ke saath nahi. Shakshi clarifies hiting her head.

'ohhh' Vineet smiles at his stupidity.

'jao, baithe kya ho. '' Shakshi said, Vineet descended from the bed and left the room.

'kuch kaam tha aapko' Daksh asked as he knows their mom won't visit his room without any purpose.

Shakshi looks at him for a few good seconds then proceeds,''haan! Ek jaroori kaam se kuch dino ke liye main kolkata jaa rahi hoon. Toh main ye chah rahi thi ki.''she looked at him with some hesitation as she knew what she was going to say may hurt him.

'ki' he asked with some confusion.

'ki main Vineet ko apne saath le jaun taki...'' Shakshi's words remain incomplete as Daksh cuts her in between..

'taki aap vineet ka ilaz wahan ke kissi aur doctor se karwa sakke?'' Daksh asked, looking directly into her eyes.

She didn't reply and looked away as he got it right.

'kyun mom? Main toh kar hi raha hoon na, fir kyun??'' Daksh question, his voice stern.

Shakshi turns to him in an instant,

' kyunki mujhe ye janna hai ki usse hua kya hai, Jo tum mujhe bata nahi rahe. Aab aise mei mere pass aur koi rasta nahi bacha iske siwa Daksh.'' She replied, gazing at him with fierce eyes.

' jaane kya chupane ki koshish kar rahe ho tum. Chahe jo bhi ho main iss mei vineet ko pisne nahi dungi. Kisse aache doctor se uska treatment karwa ke thik karungi usse. Main tumpe aur bharosa nahi kar sakti. Tum usse thik kam aur paagal sabit karne pe jyada tule hue ho.'' She said angrily.

Daksh takes bachsteps and sarcastically smiles at his mother, ''aacha hai, le jao!! Jahan le jana hai le jao. Main hota hi kon hoon rokne wala. Pyar toh kabhi mujh se tha hi nahi aapko, lagta tha aap bharosa toh karti hongi mujh par aaj ye galatfehmi bhi dur ho gayi..' he left from there to bathroom, without without waiting for her reply.

Shakshi sighed, she knew this was gonna happen but she didn't have any other option.

Around an hour later.

The family was having breakfast. Vineet was staring at the other three one by one, as all were silent which is unusual.

' sab ne maun vrat rakha hai kya??''He asked, looking to the other three, breaking his silence.

' nahi toh.. Tumhe aisa kyun laga??'' Sakshi asked, looking at him.

'sab itne chup hai, toh mujhe laga kahin aap logon ne moun vrat toh nahi rakh liya.'' Vineet said giggling.

'Aab khane ke samay toh chup hi rahenge naa bhai' Avantika said smiling to him.

'wo toh hai, par aise kabhi hota nahi hai naa. Koi bole naa bole, ye hai naa. He turned to Daksh, ''Ye meri sweety toh bolti hi hai, ' Vineet said, pulling Daksh's cheeks.

Daksh didn't react, he concentrated on his food.

'kya ho gaya? Aaj nahi bolega, mera naam maat bigad, mere gaal maat khich.. Haan?'' Vineet asked teasingly.

Daksh looked up from his plate and said. 'mere bolne se kuch hota hai jo bollu. Koi fark toh padna nahi hai, toh bolu kyun' he said looking at their mother.

'aise kyun bol raha hai?' Vineet asked, now he's suspicious.

'kuch nahi, iske baare mein jyada maat soch. Aaj office maat jaa, mere saath hospital chalna hai tujhe.'' Daksh said changing the topic.

'par kyun?' Vineet asked confusedly.

'bas regular check up ke liye!'' Daksh replied firmly.

Avantika was about to say something but Shakshi indicates her not to be quiet, as she doesn't want to hurt Daksh again.

'kitna check up karwayega. Log mahine mei ek baar karwate hai aur main pichle teen mahine mei 10 baar karwa chuka hoon. Itna check up toh kissi bimar ka nahi hota jitna main bina bimar hue karwa raha hoon.' Vineet makes faces.

'meine kab kaha tu bimar hai, ye bas ek aam check up hai aur kuch nahi.'' Daksh exclaims and takes a sip from his coffee.

'nahi main nahi jayunga. Pichli baar tumhari wo nurse mera pant khich rahi thi. Kitni muskil se main apni izzat bacha ke bhaga' Vineet said, making a grumpy face.

'kya?? Nurse ne aisa kyun kiya??'' Avantika asked, she was shocked to learn the truth.

Daksh shook his head,

' iske waist pe injection lagan tha aur ye nakhre marne laga issliye wo zabardasti injection dene ki koshish kar rahi thi aur kuch nahi 'Daksh clarifies.

' Vineet, aise kyun kiya tumne. Agar galti se injection kahin aur laag jata toh kya hota? Aur Daksh tumhari wo nurse aisa kaise kar sakti hai. Tumhe dhyan rakhna chahiye tha naa.' Shakshi scolded both.

Both hung down their heads. At the same time Daksh's phone rings. He excuses himself and picks up the call as it was from Dr. Mathur.

''Jee Dr. Mathur'' Daksh says

' Dr. Shergill, meine delhi ke doctors se baat kar li hai. Wo log yahan aane ke liye taiyar hai. Wo log kuch der mei yahan pahunch jayenge patient ke saath. Aap bhi aa jaiyea!" Dr. Mathur said from the other side.

'okay Dr. Mathur, main kuch der mei pahunchta hoon' Daksh said and hung up the call. He headed to Vineet.

'Vineet chal, humein abhi jana hai' Daksh said patting his back.

Vineet looks at him,'bhar pet nasta toh karne de' Vineet said, taking a bite of his bread.

'baki nasta hospital mei kar lena! Abhi chal' Daksh made him stand.

Daksh holds his hand and turns to leave when Vineet says 'aare mom ko bye toh bolne de!' Vineet exclaimed and freed his hand, he turned to Shakshi.

Vineet hugged her and said 'bye maa' Shakshi patted his cheeks.

'bye.. Aur haan aache se checkup karwana koi nakhra nahi samjhe' Shakshi warned him to which he nodded.

'Vineet chal, late ho raha hai' Daksh said as he needed to meet Dr. Mathur.

Vineet looked at him,'tumhe bye nahi bolna kya?? Vineet question.

' chal late ho raha hai 'Daksh said avoiding his question.

Shakshi sigh,' Vineet tum jaa ke car mei baitho, Daksh thori der mei aa raha hai, mujhe uss se kuch Important baat karni hai ' Shakshi said convincingly.

' ye galat baat hai. Aapko hamesha ussi se important baat karni hoti hai 'Vineet said, making a sad face.

' Vineet 'Shakshi looks at him, he sighs.

' haan, haan.. Ja raha hoon 'saying so he left the house.

Daksh who was silently observing all this, took forward steps, when Shakshi called him..'Daksh!'

He stopped at his track but didn't turn. Shakshi moves in front of him.

' dopahar tak wapas bhej dunga Vineet ko. Bas check up karna hai uska, uske badh aap jahan chahe le jana, jis se chahe uss se treatment karwana' Daksh said, staring at the floor.

Shakshi lifted up his face, his eyes were moist.He was hurt she knew it. A fresh tear escaped from his eyes as Shakshi cupped his face. Shakshi wiped his tears.

'I'm sorry beta, meri wajah se tumhe hurt hua. But mera woh matlab nahi tha.'' Shakshi said with a heavy throat.

Daksh again down his gaze,'don't be sorry mom, aab ye baatein mujhe jyada affect nahi karti, aadat jo ho gayi hai. Aab koi feelings hi nahi bachi hai jo hurt hoga, pathar ho gaya hoon naa andar se!!'' He looks at her.

''Aapko sorry bolne ki jarurat nahi hai, sahi kaha tha aapne ki aap mujh par bharosa nahi kar sakti. Aap kya koi mujh pe bharosa nahi kar sakta. Shayad main kissi ke bharose ke layak hi nahi hoon. Issliye shayad sab kuch khota chala jaa raha hoon.'' Daksh said painfully, a tear rolled down his eyes.

' aisa nahi hai beta.'' Shakshi holds his hand, her eyes too become watery seeing him in pain, she can't see her son in pain but since a few days both her son's are in deep pain and she can't even do anything.

'aisa hi hai mom, aisa hi hai. Kissi ka bhi toh bharosa nahi jeet paya main. Naa aapka, na uska jiss se maine itna pyar kiya, issliye toh wo mujhe chor ke chali gayi, agar bharosa hota toh ruk jati, ek baar mauka hi de deti apni baat shab it karne ka!'' Tears roll down his cheeks,''Main toh chhoti tak ka bharosa nahi jeet paya, nahi toh aaj iss tarah yun mujh se naraz naa hoti ki ek baar meri taraf dekhe bhi naa. He points to Avantika, who was sitting there, staring at her plate blankly. Aur naa hi aapka, nahi toh aap Vineet ka ilaz kissi aur se karwane ki baat naa karti. Issliye sayad aaj itne log hote hue bhi main akela hoon. Sab ka vishwas kho diya meine, sab kaa!! 'tears continued to roll down his eyes. He rubbed it off, and then looked at her and said,''par aap chinta maat karo aapke bete ko main sahi salamat dopahar tak bhej dunga. Bhej dunga usko!'' Saying so, he turns to leave when Ahakshi holds his wrist and makes him turn.

She cupped his face and said,''Vineet se jyada aab mujhe tumhari chinta hone lagi hai. Vineet ki baatein pareshan kar deti hai mujhe par tumhari baatein mujhe darra rahi hai Daksh. Tum mujhe kyun nahi batate ki ye Ruhana kaun hai, kyun wo tumhe chor ke chali gayi, bolo Daksh' she jerks him a few times.

He removed her hand from his face,'''mujhe late ho raha hai maa, main jaa raha hoon' he left the house without giving any reply.

Shakshi set down on the chair, tears were continuously rolling down her cheeks. Avantika kept her hand on her shoulder, Shakshi looked at her tearily.

'aapne aap ko sambhalo Mumma' she wiped her tears.

'kaise sambhalu main khud ko, mera beta takleef mei hai, ghut ghut ke jee raha hai wo. Apne dard ko dil mei dabaye baitha hai.' Shakshi broke down in tears, she can't bear it but she has to as Daksh is not ready to share his pain.

'Mumma aap shant ho jao, nahi toh aapki tabiyat kharab ho jayegi' Avantika tried to calm her.

Shakshi holds her hand,'Avantika tujhe pata hai Ruhana kaun hai? Kahan rehti hai? Kuch bhi pata hai toh mujhe bata, main aaj hi jayungi uske pass, usse samjhayungi, apne bete ki khushi ki bhikh mangungi.' Shakshi cried, she just wants to see her son happy and she can do anything for the same.

Avantika didn't say anything but hug her mother, her eyes were moist as well.

'I hate you Ruhana! Tumhari wajah mera ek bhai dusre se nafrat karta hai, Big. B tut gaye aandar se aur aaj mumma bhi tut gayi. Sab tumhari wajah se!! I just hate you! Meine naa kabhi tumhe dekha hai aur naa kabhi dekhna chahti hoon!'' Avantika thought as she believed everything that is happening around them is all because of Ruhana who breaks her brother's heart and so forth she hates her.

Daksh came out of the house wiping his tears, he didn't want Vineet to see him crying. He saw vineet waiting for him, sitting in the car. Daksh marched towards the car and settled in the passenger seat when vineet asked.

'ho gayi maa - bete ki important baat? Tum log bahut bure ho sari Important baat apas mei kar lete ho mujhe koi kuch nahi batata' Vineet complained like a five year kid, making faces.



'nautanki band kar aur chal, late ho raha hai' Daksh said rudely, looking outside the window.

Vineet didn't say anything and chose to be quiet, thinking his brother is still upset.

He gears up the car and drives towards the hospital. On the way, they stuck in the traffic.

Vineet turned to Daksh who was still looking out. Vineet kept his hand on his shoulder, Daksh looked at him.

'tu thik hai naa' Vineet asked in concern as he sensed his sadness.

Daksh jerk away his hand, 'apne kaam se kaam rakh.'' He replied rudely.

'abhi tak udas hai? Chinta mat kar sab thik ho jayega' Vineet said in concern, holding his hand.

Daksh jerks his hand again and shouts 'tujhe ek baar mein koi baat samajh nahi aati. Bola naa apne kaam se kaam rakh.''

'tu mujhe bhabhi ka address de. Main Delhi jaa ke unse baat karunga aur unhe wapas layunga' Vineet said, politely. He knows his brother is sad and that's why he'd shout over him to hide his pain.

Daksh raged 'ek baar aur agar tune apna muh khola naa. I swear, I'll slap you! Kitni baar bolna padega, mere mamle mei interfere karne ki koshish maat karo. Samajh nahi aata tujhe, paagal hai kya tu ??'' He shouts at the top of his voice.

His words hurt Vineet, he turns his face to the other side as fresh tears roll down his cheek.
