Fuming in anger Maya moved out of the hospital, she still couldn't believe that Vineet insulted her this much and Daksh, he didn't even stop him. How could he stay quiet at his fiancee's insult? She needs to do something, the brothers need a lesson and Daksh has to accept her. He can't turn away from whether he likes her or not but he has to accept her and their relationship and she'll make sure it happens. She can't fail again, she can't lose him again, no, never!

She kicked the small flower pot, it rolled to a distance, all the soil and plant shattered on the ground. She walked over it and smashed the plant under her feet.

''Iss paudhe ki tarah, ek din main tumhe aur wo sab jo mere aur Daksh ke bich aayega usse masal ke rakh dungi. Daksh ko apna banane se mujhe koi nahi rok sakta. Agar uske liye mujhe kissi ki jaan leni pade ya apni jaan deni pade toh main piche nahi hatungi. Iss baar main usse apna bana ke rahungi, kissi bhi keemat pe!'’ She muttered in much anger, gritting her teeth.

When she was fighting with her own thoughts and turmoil within, her phone rings, she checks the caller id and immediately picks up the call.

The firm voice from the other side shivers her,''ji main.. Wo… main.'' She wasn't able to say anything properly because of nervousness, her hand shivering.

''Ji main, kya?? Meine tumse pehle hi kaha tha yahan aane ko aur tum aab tak nahi aai! Where are you Maya?'' The person from the other side roars such that she almost jumps at her place, her face loses its color, her body turns cold.

“Main, dus minute mei pahuch rahi hoon!!” She assured, with a trembling voice.

Disconnecting the call she immediately ran out of the hospital campus and hired a taxi for her destination.

Covering a journey of 45 minutes, she reached an under construction building. The area is completely reticent, the workers around stare at her confusedly. Maybe they were surprised to see a girl there too in a doctor's apron.

Maya didn't care about them, she ignored their firm looks and ran inside, passing by the ground floor she headed to a small path, which led her to the back side of the building and passing by that she reached an abandoned iron mill.

Panting heavily she stood outside the mill when she felt a warm touch on her shoulder, Maya almost jumped at her place and turned back. She sighs in relief when finds Raunak who just came.

''You scared me!'' She glares at him.

Raunak sigh, the girl is always angry with him for no reason.

Without saying anything he moves inside, Maya follows him.

As they entered inside, darkness welcomed them, not even a dim light was on.

Maya and Raunak were looking around, trying to spot someone when they heard some sound, they got rooted at their place.

''Kya khabar laaye ho tum dono ya khali haath apna manhoos shakal dikhane aaye ho?'' A voice came from the darkness from a certain direction but Maya and Raunak weren't able to know the direction, so they tried to figure out the owner of the voice, searching in the darkness.

''Mujhe dhundne ki koshish karne se behtar hai tum dono apne kaam pe dhyan do, jo karne yahan aaye ho wo karo.'' The person shouts, his voice sharp.

''Jii.. Wo!!!'' Raunak tried to speak but was cutted by the unknown person.

''Ahn, Raunak! Toh tum jaag gaye, glad to see you. Mujhe toh laga shayad tum Ruhana ki nazar mei khudko sabit karte hi reh jaaoge! Don't you think, tum kissi aur kaam se yahan aaye the?'' The unknown person questioned.

Raunak was taken back such that he wasn't able to say anything. He surely was trying his best to win Ruahan, well he's doing things for her so obviously he will try to get her by any means. Maya nudged him, finding him lost.

Raunak clears his throat,'' main...main koshish kar raha hoon Master. Bahut jald woh sabut mere haath mein hoga.'' He says assuring him but shivers at his place, receiving scolds.

''Koshish nahi, anjam chahiye mujhe. Itna waqt nahi hai mere pass ki tumhari koshish mei gawa doon. Yaad rahe tumhari saason ki dor mere haath mei hai!'' The person warned him, this shook Raunak to the core. He really needs to clear his task as soon as he can, otherwise he has many things to lose.

Maya, hold on her breath knowing it's her turn now.

''Maya, tum janti ho tum meri favorite player ho. Tumse jyada aache se iss game ko kissi ne samjha hi nahi hai. Lekin lagta hai aab tumhe iss game ki jarurat nahi hai, isse jeetne ka junoon nahi raha tum mei aab. You're in the game just for namesake kyunki tumhara sara dhyan to Daksh pe laga hua hai jiska iss game se koi lena dena nahi, in fact Ruhana ka bhi nahi hai. Tum dono ye baat aache se jante ho ki Daksh aur Ruhana iss khel ke wo pyade hai jinko enaam mei diya jana hai. Jo khel jeeta pyada uska, khel haare toh pyada khatam!'' Maya and Raunak were left horrified hearing the person, fear engulfed them.

''Agar apne enaam ko bachana hai toh apne kaam ko anjaam doh! Aur ek baat uss ladki (Ruhana's patient's) ki humein koi jarurat nahi, uska jinda rehna sirf musibat hi khadi karega hamare liye issliye Maya aaj raat tak uske marne ki khush khabri mujhe mil jaani chahiye!'' Tha unknown person ordered, Raunak objected.

''Lekin, woh toh coma mein hai. Uska hona na hona ek hi hai hamare liye, fir kyun usse kuch karna hai?'' Raunak retorted.

''Shut up!! Jitna bola jaaye utna hi karo. Ye tum bhi jante ho ki usse yahan kyun laya gaya hai. Wo toh Daksh ki wajah se uska operation nahi ho paya nahi toh aab tak wo thik ho chuki hoti. Aur uske thik hote hi tum salaakhon ke andar hote.'' The unknown person shouts, reminding him of the consequences.

Maya glares at Raunak,'' shayad isse pyar aa gaya hai aab uss pe, aakhir behen jo hai iski!'' Maya says sarcastically.

''Nahi hai wo meri behen!'' Raunak shouts at the top of his voice, his voice echoes in the mill.

''Toh marne do usse!'' The unknown person says and orders them to leave.

Maya and Raunak move out of the mill without a word.

''Ussi din ye kaam kar diya tha meine, agar tum bich mei na aate toh hum apna dusra kaam kar sakte the! Anyways, aab bhi der nahi hui, jo kaam uss din adhura reh gaya usse aaj pura kar dungi main!” Maya exclaims and leaves the place, leaving Raunak behind. Who knows, his act might create problems, invite deadly consequences but he had to do it. Some risks are bound to be taken.

Evening time..

Daksh was feeding Vineet as he demanded to have noodles and Daksh had to agree. Dr. Mathur was adoring the brother's when there was a knock on the door, Daksh looks up and finds Ruhana entering the room. Vineet immediately hides the bowl of noodles as he has seen Ruhana scolding Daksh for feeding him (Vineet) with extra food other than diet. Vineet doesn't want his brother to get scolded by Ruhana for no reason.

But Ruhana sees him hiding the bowl, she smiles at his antics. As she knows, Vineet is stubborn and choosy. Also Daksh won't force his brother for anything nor he'll let anyone do the same so she chooses to remain mum over the topic, no need to pick up unnecessary arguments. Also, she wants to avoid Daksh as much as she can because first, he's now engage to her friend and she doesn't want Maya to feel that she holds any feeling for Daksh, second, her father is around and finding her involve with Daksh might upset him which she doesn't want. Hence, staying away is the best for them.

She moves to Dr. Mathur as she needs to discuss something with him. Dr. Mathur and Ruhana left the room excusing themselves.

Vineet took out the noodles and looks at Daksh,''ye mera noodles le leti firse aur tumko bhi pakka dant lagati issiliye chupa diya meine!'' Vineet exclaims in a manner that makes Daksh laugh, Vineet glares at him.

Daksh pats his cheek, ''don't worry usko meine samjha diya tha pichli baar aache se, aab wo nahi rokegi humei.'' He clarifies and stuffs a spoonful of noodles in Vineet's mouth who takes it happily. After whatever happens that day, Daksh knows Ruhana won't interfere in Vineet's matter.

After feeding him, Daksh cleans his face with a tissue and makes him drink some water.

Daksh has always been loving and caring towards Vineet and Avantika. For them he's not just a brother but a father figure, though Vineet and Daksh are of same age but Daksh was more mature and sensible than Vineet and that's why after their father's demise Daksh became the man of the family, he always took care of his siblings and mother and never complaints. It's true that Daksh is angry with Vineet but he also knows that he can't live without him nor can Vineet, they are life to each other.

Daksh smiles at him,''chal, aab tu apne room mei jaa, kyunki mujhe thoda kaam karna hai!'' Daksh says.

Vineet gave him a look,''arey, lekin tumhari tabiyat thik nahi tum kaam kaise karoge?'' He questions, crossing his arms around his chest glaring at him again.

''Arey nahi, i'm fine aur waise bhi main yahan baithe baithe hi kaam karne wala hoon toh tu tension mat le!” Daksh assures him, though Vineet wasn't convinced but nodded for he knows Daksh won't listen to him when it comes to work.

Daksh calls a wardboy to help him but Vineet stops him,''main uske saath nahi jayunga.'' He declares.

Daksh looks at him,''fir kaise jayega tu bata jara.'' Daksh questions raising his brows.

Vineet smiles sheepishly, ''tere saath!''

Daksh shook his head,''main khud abhi aache se na jaa sakta tujhe kaise le jaunga?'' Daksh reasoned.

Vineet hit Daksh's head,''arey buddu, ye wheelchair hai na iss pe baith ke jaayenge hum.'' Vineet says pointing to the wheelchair.

This time Daksh smacked Vineet's head,''ohh akalmand, wheelchair ek hai aur hum do! Nahi jaa sakte uspe.'' He clarifies.

''Arey kaise nahi jaa sakte. Main baith jata hoon, fir tu meri god mei baith jana aur hum chale aayenge. Ya fir tu pehle baith aur main teri god mei baith jata hoon, simple.'' As Vineet finishes his statement he finds Daksh staring at him.

Daksh stares at him for a few good seconds, by now he knows that Vineet won't leave the room with anyone else, he would have to take him that too on the wheelchair. He sighs deeply but agrees, Vineet chuckles.

Gently, Daksh descended down the bed and sat on the wheelchair as Vineet was already hurt on his legs. Daksh preferred to carry him. He then helps Vineet and makes him sit on his lap. As it was an automatic chair they didn't have much to do, Daksh started the chair with the help of a remote and left the room.

The staff stares at them with widened eyes, they couldn't believe their eyes that Daksh is carrying Vineet on his lap because he's not well too but still he's doing all this.

Dr. Mathur who just came out of his cabin saw them and smiles adoring the two. He knows how much the brothers love each other, Daksh may deny the same but he loves Vineet immensely.

Reaching Vineet's room, Vineet opened the door and they entered inside. Daksh helps him in getting on the bed and covers him with the sheet, he also switches on the television for Vineet and making sure he's comfortable Daksh leaves the room.

He finds Dr. Mathur standing outside the room.

''Dr. Mathur aap yahan, kuch kaam tha aapko?'' Daksh asked as he headed towards his room.

''Jii, Dr. Shergill! Actually Dr. Ruhana aur unke seniors chahte hai ki unki jo patient hai hum unko operate kare aab kyunki unki condition kafi thik hai aab but the problem is abhi apki tabiyat thik nahi toh unko operate karega kaun!'' Dr. Mathur says worriedly.

Daksh shook his head,'' aap tension mat lijiye Dr. Mathur meine decide kiya hai ki uss ladki ka operation hum iss Sunday ko karenge, aaj wednesday hai aur mere paas teen din hai tab tak i'm sure main thik ho jaunga aur waise bhi main soch raha hoon iss operation ko aap lead karo, main bas aapki help ke liye wahan rahunga.'' Daksh exclaims, Dr. Mathur was left stunned.

''Main kaise?'' He questions, taken aback.

Daksh looks at him,''kyun aap doctor nahi hai?'' He raised his brow.

''Mera matlab hai, itni badi zimmedaari aap mujhe de rahe hai….'' Dr. Mathur doesn't know how to word his thoughts.

Daksh smiles at him,''aap kar loge Dr. Mathur, aapne pehle bhi bahut case akele handle kiye hai toh ye bhi ho jaayega. Haan main manta hoon ye case thoda complicated hai lekin main rahunga na, we'll handle it together!'' Daksh assures him to which Dr. Mathur just nodded, he had to agree with him.

Dr. Mathur opens the door of his room as they reach, but upon entering the room Dr. Mathur and Daksh were left stunned to see some person already present in the room.

Daksh and Dr. Mathur exchange glances, when the person says,''Kaise hai aap Dr. Shergill?'' The person questioned.

Daksh looks at him,'' Inspector! Aap yahan, iss waqt?'' Daksh question.

Yeah, it was Vikrant who's in his room with his officers.

Vikrant marched towards him,''aab kya kare, hum toh bin bulaye mehman hai, kahin bhi chale aate hai, waqt ka toh koi panga hi nahi hai apna, kissi bhi waqt surprise dene chale aate hai hum. Filhal aapse ye puchna tha ki aapke bhai ke deemag ki baati jali ya abhi bhi fused hai?'' Vikrant questions sarcastically.

The guy is frustrated and irritated over the brothers, why won't he be after all because his seniors doubted his worth. For the past three months, Daksh has been yelling at him for now reason and so now it's his turn to take revenge.

Daksh was angry at the choice of his words, he couldn't take such sarcastic words for his brother. He glared at Vikrant and shouted at him, in reply Vikrant said something that left him shocked.
