Vineet was crying, hugging Ruhana by the waist, her eyes were teary as well. She was trying to console him but all in vain, she only received his cries.

"please.. save him, main.. iske bagair.. Nahi.. reh sakta" Vineet said breathing heavily, his body was burning due to high fever, Ruhana felt it when her hand touched his head..

"Vineet, tumhe toh bahut fever hai. Please chalo, nahi toh tumhari tabiyat aur bigad jayegi" Ruhana said trying to make him understand..

He parted from her and hugged Daksh "nahi main kahin nahi jayunga isse chod ke, main iske pass hi rahunga" he said with a trembling voice..

"usse kuch nahi hoga, wo jald thik ho jayenge. Aur agar hosh main aane ke badh tumhe aise dekh liya toh wo gussa karenge na. Unko bura bhi lagega ki unki wajah se tumhari tabiyat bigad gayi.. Tumhe aacha lagega kya agar wo sad ho jaaye" Ruhana asked, trying to convince him.. Vineet shook his head negatively, he knows Daksh will be angry at him if his health gets affected because of him.. He needs to take care of himself but at the same time he doesn't want to leave him alone.. He was lost in his thoughts..

Ruhana comprehending his stupefaction, she kept her hand on his shoulder. He looked up at her..

"We'll take care of him, unhe kuch nahi hone denge hum, jaldi he will be fine" she assured him..

"Jab main bemar hota hoon, wo mujhe chor ke kahin nahi jata. Mere paas hi baith-ta hai. Main kaise chala jaun isse chor ke? Main nahi jaa sakta! Humne ek duje se promise kiya hai ki hum hamesha ek dusre ka saath denge chahe jo ho. Daksh ne hamesha apna wada nibhaya hai, balki uss se jyada hi kya hai, fir main kaise chala jaun? Main apna wada nahi todd sakta!!" Vineet reasoned, holding Daksh's hand.

Ruhana stared at him, the pure love and concern for his brother was clearly visible in his eyes, but he needed to take care of himself as well. He's already too weak and now the exertion and tension will deteriorate his health. They can't take the risk with his health.

Ruhana knelt down and hold his other hand, "tum apna wada nahi todd rahe Vineet, tum bas thodi der ke liye apni health ka khayal rakh rahe ho taki jab Dr. Shergill uthe toh wo tumhe bimar dekh ke aur pareshan na ho jaaye, bas itna hi!! Tum chahte ho na jab wo uthe toh tum unka khayal rakh pao!?" She asked to which he nodded, she smiled and stretched out her hand to help him to stand"Chale fir?"she asked, half heartedly he nodded and placed his hand on her and tried to stand but wasn't able to. His legs had hurt badly when he fell from the bed, to save Daksh.

He groans and falls back on the stool, Ruhana composes him.

"Vineet, I think sprains aa gaye hai tumhare pair (legs) mei. Main wheelchair mangwati hoon, tab tak tum yahan ruko." saying so, she moved out. Vineet rested his head on Daksh's arms, his body was paining badly which he was ignoring because he wanted to be with Daksh, to assure his speedy recovery.

Tears slipped down from the corner of his eyes, it fell on Daksh arms. Why on earth will Daksh try to kill himself? Was he hurt because of Raunak and Ruhana relations? Because he still loves the lady, he has seen his brother crying for her and finding her getting close to another man has surely broken his heart. But he could have shared his pain. Why did he decide to end things like that?

Vineet stared at Daksh and was losing his senses, his body tackled backward as he lost control of himself. He was about to fall when Ruhana and Dr Mathur entered. Dr. Mathur rushed towards him and saved him from falling.

"Vineet aap thik hai" he asked in concern, but didn't receive any reply, he fainted.

Dr Mathur and Ruhana made him sit on the wheelchair and took him in his ward.

Vineet was lying on the bed semi conscious, Dr Mathur, Ruhana and some other doctors were also present there. Vineet was moaning in pain. Dr Mathur and Ruhana were worried for him..

Examining his body, they came to know that the bone of his knee has been dislocated and it needs to be fixed now else it can be dangerous..

Dr. Kritika , the Orthopaedic was called upon, who said that the bone can be fixed now. And she will treat him now. Kritika touches his knee, Vineet screams in pain.

"Noooo" he shouted.. Dr. Kritika gave him sedatives but it didn't help.

Being a doctor his cries and screams didn't affect them much as they are used to this kinda thing.. Kritika took hold of his leg, and tried to locate his bone in its right place. Vineet cried out loud, it was too painful.. He moved his hands and legs to free himself, doctors held his hands and pinned it to the bed.

"Leave me, Please. Chodo mujhe dard ho raha hai" he cried and screamed again when kritika pressed around his knee..

"aaahhhhh. Dakshhhh.. Daksh" he shouted for him for help but he didn't turn up, the only person who could save him didn't come to his rescue. Tears were continuously rolling down his cheeks, realizing the truth and the pain.

Vineet was crying and shouting to leave him, at the same time a pair of hands pressed his knee with a force Vineet shouted out loud and fainted due to pain. The doctor immediately put him on oxygen.

Doctors look at the newcomer. Others were confused while Ruhana was surprised to see the person.

"Aap kaun? Dr. Mathur asked, "sidha andar kaise chali aai aap "he questioned.

The person is a beautiful girl, she extended her hand" Dr. Maya Gupta. I'm an Orthopaedic Surgeon,"she introduced herself, Dr Mathur shook hands with her but was still confused.

"Don't worry he'll be alright, inke pair (leg) pe ek plaster lagwa dijiye bone set ho jayea 15 days mei. "She spoke and turned to go..

" But aapko yahan bulaya kisne? Dr Mathur asked

She turned to him "mujhe kissi ne nahi bulaya hai Dr Mathur, main khud aayi hoon yahan and i believe main kabhi bhi aa sakti hoon yahan after all ye hospital mera fiancee ka hai, indirectly mera hai!" She informed me, grinning.

Doctors were looking at her confusedly, she moved towards them "main aapke head doctor aur yahan ke owner Daksh Shergill ki fiance hoon!" She disclosed which only surprised all the doctors present there.

"ooh" Dr Mathur nodded but was still a little confused and surprised, when did Daksh get engaged? But Ruhana was shocked by the revelation.

Maya moved out of the room Ruhana followed her, Maya was in the corridor marching towards Daksh ward when Ruhana called her. She stops at her track and turns back smiling..

Ruhana approaches her, Maya instantly hugs her tightly "ooh Ruu, I missed you so much." She parted from her. "College ke badh toh tum jaise bhool hi gayi, itne din badh aaj mil rahe hain, I'm so happy to see you" Maya spoke. Ruhana just smile

"I miss you too, Yaar. Waise tum achanak yahan" Ruhana asked, eyeing her as she still can't believe that Maya is marrying Daksh..

Maya sighed sadly "I was in Chennai yaar, do din pehle mumma ka call aaya. Unhone urgently Kolkata bula liya and aayi toh pata chala mumma papa ne shadi fix kardi and that to Daksh ke saath. Abhi Daksh ki mom Kolkata Hospital mei admit hai, uski behen ne bataya ki Daksh ki tabiyat thik nahi toh mujhe aana pada " She made a face.

" tumne shadi ke liye haan kar di, sab kuch jaante hue bhi "Ruhana asked tearily. When they (She and Daksh) parted, she had told her everything that happened as Maya is her best friend and she had suggested her to stay away from Daksh but now, she's all set to marry the same guy.

Maya held her by the shoulder" do you really think meine mana nahi kiya hoga? Meine bola tha lekin mumma ne nahi suni meri. Yahan bhi zabardasti bheja mujhe "Maya spoke sadly..

At the Same time, Maya's phone rings. She excused herself" Ruu I'll talk to you later, ek important call hai "saying so she marched out of the hospital, leaving a muddled Ruhana..

Talking to the person for some minutes, she moves back to the hospital and directly heads to the ICU.

As she entered she found Daksh lying on the bed, many life equipment attached to his body.

She marched towards him and sat down on the stool. Her eyes were fixed on his face, she was staring at him madly.

She moved her fingers on his face "itni aasani se kaise tumne apni zindagi khatam karne ki sochi.. Ye jaan bahut kimti hai tumhari har saans pe aab mera haq hai. Tumhari jaan meri Jaan hai aur meri Jaan itni aasani se nahi jayegi. Jab tak tumhe apna na bana loon tab tak toh bilkul nahi" she spoke huskily

At the Same time the door of the ICU opened and a person entered, Maya looked at him. It was Raunak and Maya was the same girl who threatened him on call.

Raunak opens his mouth to say,Maya stops him placing her finger on her lips..

"sssss, don't disturb him" she spoke, Raunak nodded. She gestured to him to move out, Raunak nodded and moved out followed by her..

They were moving in the corridor, when Maya saw Ruhana she held Raunak's hand and immediately barged into a nearby room..

As they enter, her (Maya) eyes fall on the girl patient lying on the bed. She was left shocked to see her, she turned her gaze to Raunak and slapped him hard.

"tumhari himmat kaise hui mujh se baat chupane ki" she shouted..

"lekin.. Meine kya chupaya" he asked.. Maya held his collar and made him turn towards the patient.

"Ye zinda kaise" she asked, gazing at him angrily pointing to the girl..

Raunak down his gaze, Maya held his face between her finger and thumb.

"Vineet zinda hai ye baat toh tumne sabko batane mei ek minute ki bhi der nahi ki lekin ye ladki Zinda hai ye kyun nahi bataya Haan." she shouted, tightening her grip on his face..

"mujhe pata nahi tha" Raunak lied..

"jhooth, bilkul jhooth. Tum jaante the, tumne jaan bujh ke nahi bataya. She jerks him.. Jaante ho na iska zinda hona hamare liye kitna khatarnak ho sakta hai" She rolled her eyes in anger.

She turned to her "koi baat nahi, tumne bhale hi nahi bataya par sach samne toh aa hi gaya na. Tab nahi toh aab sahi. She marched towards her. She took hold on the oxygen mask. Sorry darling, lekin tumhe marna hoga" she removed the oxygen mask from her nose. She (patient) started breathing heavily, Raunak ran and immediately put the oxygen mask on her face, her breath became normal,she calmed down..

Maya gazed at him angrily "what the hell are you doing" she shouted..

"she's in Coma, wo kuch nahi bol sakti fir kya zaroorat hai" he spoke, defending her receiving a tough glare from her.

She smiles sarcastically "ooh, kahin behen ke liye pyar toh nahi jaag gaya tumhara. Haan" she asked, eyeing him..

"aisa kuch nahi hai, wo meri behen nahi hai" Raunak said angrily..

"fir marne do usse, tumhe kyun takleef ho rahi hai. Jab pehle baar goli maari thi tab toh nahi roka tumne Infact tumne bhi shoot kiya fir aaj kya ho gaya aachanak pyar umar gaya behen ke liye" Maya asked teasingly.

Raunak was silent, he didn't have any answer. "Let me do it" Maya spoke and removed the mask from her face.. Her breath became uneven, her upper body moving up and down, the ecg machine beeps. Maya smiled to see her dying but Raunak was feeling uneasy.

"Maya don't do this" he spoke with a trembling voice.

"Shut up" she glared at him, without thinking and wasting his time he pushed Maya aside and put the oxygen mask on her face but she was still panting heavily it seems he is late in doing that.

"Ruhana" Raunak shouted for her..

"Raunak, what are you doing?" she shouted..

"Just Shut up, bloody.."He didn't complete his sentence and again shouted for Ruhana" Ruhana, aao," don't know why but he wants to save her..

"You will have to pay for this "Maya yelled and left the room..

After she leave, Ruhana entered the room and was left shocked to her condition.

" kya hua isse "Ruhana asked worriedly running towards her

" I don't know, main guzar raha tha toh dekha. Issliye bulaya tumhe "Raunak made up a story..

Ruhana called Dr Mathur and Raunak was sent outside.

They together commence treating her.. Outside Raunak was pacing to and fro in tension..
