AT TERRACE

It was morning. Sun rays were disturbing the sleep of two beautiful souls who were sleeping in each others embrace.

Finally Anika opens her eyes and notices that she was sleeping on the swing. She feels some weight on her lap and looks down at her lap to see Shivaay who is sleeping peacefully.

(A/N- please ignore sindoor and mangalsutra. Clothes are same)

She smiles after looking at him and gently caresses his hair. She remembers his outburst yesterday and kept on caressing his forehead. On feeling a hand on his forehead, Shivaay stirs in his sleep and opens his eyes with a small smile lingering on his lips.

After waking up, he notices his position and sits up straight on the swing. Both Anika and Shivaay were feeling awkward after their hug and the position in which they woke up. Both were looking everywhere except each other.

Finally, Anika broke the silence and said-

A- Shivaay, you go and freshen up, till then I will prepare breakfast for us otherwise you will get late for office.

Shivaay nods and leaves to freshen up.

SHIVAAY'S ROOM

Shivaay reaches his room and sits on his bed.

S(thinks)- Why am I feeling so different today? I am feeling so light and happy like somebody has taken off the weight from my heart which i am carrying from childhood. Anika has eased all the pain from which I was suffering from so long. I feel at peace when she is near me. Am I falling for her?

He shoves away all the thoughts from his mind and went to freshen up.

KITCHEN

Anika moves to kitchen after getting freshen up.

ANIKA'S DRESS

Shivaay was ready for office.

SHIVAAY'S OUTFIT

He comes to kitchen and looks at Anika who is preparing breakfast.

He smiles at her and says-

S- Good morning.

A- Good morning! How are you feeling now?

S- I am feeling much better now. Thank you for your support. I really needed it.

Anika smiles at him.

S- So what are you preparing for breakfast today?

A- I am preparing Poha today with your coffee and my tea.

S- Nice.

A- Shivaay, you go and sit. Its almost done. I'll bring it there.

S- I'll take this bowl and keep it there and you bring the tea and coffee.

Anika nods and Shivaay moves towards the dining area.

Both arranges the dining table and sit to have their breakfast.

Shivaay uncovers the bowl and serves the poha in their plates.

Shivaay took the first bite of poha and closed his eyes after tasting it. When he opened his eyes, his eyes were moist a little. Anika sees it and gets tensed.

A- Shivaay, what happened? Is it not good? Its ok, leave it, I will prepare something else for you but please don't cry.

She was about to take his plate and leave but Shivaay holds her hand and makes her sit on the chair and says-

S- You know this is the best poha I have ever had. It tastes just like my mom's poha. She used to prepare it like this. And after so many years, I relived that taste and relived that memory. Thank you, Anika.

Anika smiles to her fullest.

They start having their breakfast. Shivaay is just relishing its taste. He immediately finishes it and asks Anika-

S- Anika, can I get some more?

Anika smiles at his cuteness and serves him more.

They were having their breakfast when the doorbell rang. Anika gets up from her chair and says.

A- You have your breakfast, I'll check who's there at the door.

Shivaay nods and Anika moves towards the door to open it.

She opens the main door and notices an elderly lady standing there.

She was none other than dadi.

Dadi looks at Anika confusingly.

A- Ji. Aap kaun? Aapko kisse milna hai?

D- Puttar. I should ask the same question. Who are you?

Anika was about to tell her when Shivaay comes and hugs dadi.

S- Dadi. Finally you are back. You know how much I missed you.

D- Khoteya. I missed you too.

She pats his cheek and hugs him again. They broke the hug and dadi looks at Anika and then at Shivaay.

S-Oh yes! Dadi, she is Anika my friend and Anika, this is my dadi.

Anika smiles and bends down to touch her feet. Dadi smiles and blesses her.

S- Come, Dadi lets sit in the hall and talk. I have so much to tell you.

Dadi was surprised to look at Shivaay because she was seeing a totally new Shivaay who has different shine in his eyes and peace on his face.

He makes her sit on the sofa and sits beside her. Anika also sits on a different sofa.

S- Dadi, how is your sister? Is she fine?

D- Yes she is fine. It was a minor accident so she was not injured much, just a fracture in leg.

S- Hmm.

D-So, who is she? You never told me about her.

S- She is my friend and she will be living here for some time.

Then Shivaay narrates the whole scenario to Dadi. Dadi looks at Anika who was sitting with her head down.

D- Anika. Come here and sit beside me.

She pats on the place beside her.

Anika comes and sits beside her.

Dadi softly caresses her hair and says-

D- I don't know puttar, what has happened with you or what you are suffering through but always remember that whenever you need me or whenever you want to share anything with me, I will always be there for you.

Anika's eyes started brimming with tears as she felt motherly concern after a long time. She hugs dadi and starts crying. Dadi hugs her back and rubs her back to calm her down. Shivaay smiles after seeing their bond.

Dadi looks at Shivaay and spreads her other hand and asks Shivaay to join the hug. Shivaay joins the hug and dadi caresses both their heads with a smile on her face.
