I was saving this one for valentines day but I decided I didn't want to wait

Doctor's POV

I was planning something huge for Rose ... she probably doesn't know it Valentines day then again time is relative in the TARDIS. Well I have this big plan but I'm too much of a coward to ask her directly so instead I told her we were going to a planet where they dress fancy even though that planet doesn't exist ... or maybe it does ... oh well. I'm actually taking her to dinner ... I also told the TARDIS to give her a recomendation of a red dress. You know for umm the color of valentines ... not because I want to see her in a red dress that shows her beauty, aplifies the color of her soft silky hair, contrasts against her pink lips and ... and ... wait what was I talking about? Oh right, the plans ... so I decided to wear my nice blue suit with a red tie and newer red converse ... I will never wear dress shoes ... weeelllll if Rose told me to wear them I'll put them on faster than anyone can blink. There goes a shiver ... well while I'm here waiting might as well check if everything is ok. And leave her a note I don't want to see her just yet. So I leave the note and walk outside checking around for anything that might cause trouble and found none ... Fantastic!

Rose's POV

I dressed up in a nice red dress that showed off just about the right places. ... I wonder why the Doctor acted a bit strange today, more distracted like he was hiding something from me. I put on some red heels and walked to console room expecting to see a specific TimeLord waiting but he wasn't. I felt a bit hurt but I saw a note with TO: My pink and yellow human on top of the console. I opened it and it read: 'My pink and yellow human please don't think I went adventuring without you ... in fact you can open those doors and find me there.' I started to move to the door but then I saw it said: 'But, don't go just yet ... don't want to ruin the surprise now do we. The TARDIS will let you know when to come outside  ... please have patience I'm not the best planner. Ok, once you hear the TARDIS ding in your head you can come outside.

What is this mad man up to it's not my birthday ... is it? It's definitly not our adventuring anniversary. Definitaly not Christmas. What could it be? 'Ding!' Yes! I can go outside and find out what this mad man is doing. I start to move towards the doors and open it slightly only for the Doctor to tell me to shut my eyes. I quickly did trying not to ruin whatever it is he's done. I hear shuffling around me. "Ok go!" I open my eyes to find him on one knee with a TARDIS blue box and a rose shaped diamond rind peeking out the small cushion. OH.MY.GOD!!!!!

Doctor's POV

I was getting ready when I heard the door start to open thankfully I was fast enough to stop her from seeing anything. While she covered her eyes I shuffled some rose petals around then got onto one knee opening the small box. "Ok go!" I told her well pracitically screaming it out of excitment. She looked shocked for a moment but then she started to cry. That's not suppose to happen I got up and hugged her. "Oh Rose, I didn't mean to make you cry I mean sure we never actually dated but I can't stop the feeling of not being able to be mine. I mean if you don't want to I'll take it all down if you want and we could pretend this never happened. I'll just pick this up and we can go to the planet I promised, not sure it exists but I'll find it for you I will and I won't ev-" I rabbled on but she stopped me with a kiss ... A KISS!!! I got over the mild shock and kissed back feeling joy and warmness inside of me. She pulled away and hugged me "You idiot they're happy tears and I thought you were the smart one." She teased. "Now get back on your knee and make it official!" "Gladly!" I got back on one knee and said those magical binding words "Will you marry me, Rose Marlion Tyler?" "OF COURSE!" I got back up and kissed her again but more passionately. We pulled away breathless and stared into eachothers eyes. "Will you like to sit and have dinner with me wife-to-be?" "Gladly husband-to-be." "Rose?" "Yes Doctor." "Happy Valentines Day." "Happy Valentines indeed." She said leaning on the table to kiss me again.
