Third Person POV

The Doctor and Rose were walking to their favorite chippy ... when the Doctor sees a poor defenseless puppy about to be run over. Of course he dives in saving it while almost giving Rose a heart attack. He lands safely on the other side walk with the puppy safely in his arms. "Doctor are you alright?!" Rose yells from across the street. "Yeah Rose I'm fine!" He runs over to her once the street was empty that is ... with the puppy still in his arms. "Look Rose a PUPPY!" he sounds like a child. "I see that Doctor now let's go return it to who ever it belongs to." "Aww come on Rose it doesn't even have a collar ... can we keep him please!" "Doctor you can barely even tie your own tie what makes you think you can take care of a dog let alone a puppy?" "I'm brilliant that's what ... please please please please pleaasseeee!" "Augh fine but you have to take care of him" "Promise!" "You act like such a child" "Oi! I regenerated from your 'essence' so I get this from you so HA!" "Whatever ... now let me see him." "Look little guy that's your new mommy, Rose." He says in that little voice people use when talking to babies.

Rose's POV

Did he just say what I think he said ... wait wait wait if I'm the 'mommy' than he is the ... I don't want to say it I might faint. "Alright hand him over" I say while he holds the pup. He hands him over and I start to examine his features to find out what breed he is and notice it looks like he's wearing a black long coat and suspenders?! Then it hit me. "OMG he looks like Captain Jack!" The Doctor looks confused so I turn him around and show him the specific features. He nods in agreement and we decide to call him well ... Captain Jack. After we picked up some chips we headed towards the pet shop to get him his own collar and tag, also some shots. We headed to the TARDIS while struggling to get him to stay still when the Doctor held him ... but weirdly wouldn't move when I held him. "Just like him too." The Doctor muttered angrily as we entered the TARDIS. I set him down to walk around but he just goes in between my legs. I walk around and he follows. I can tell the Doctor was not too happy about all the attention I gave Captain Jack (the dog). Especially when the Doctor would call him but he wouldn't go to him.

Doctor's POV

Damn that dog it gets more attention than me and I was here first! Wait wait WAIT ... am I the Doctor, last of the Timelords, the Oncoming Storm, Destroyer of worlds, savior of planets and galaxies ... getting jealous of a mear dog? Nah! Why would I be? I mean she, the most beautiful person I have ever met, is not even mine so what in all of space is wrong with me! And now it won't even leave her side no matter how much I call him ... Captain Jack indeed. I can't believe that little runt. "Ahem!" I break rose from a tickle fit against Jack. "Yeah what's up?" ... Yeah what's up is all I get REALLY! Doesn't she know im madly in love with her! Whoa where did that come from? "Where do you want to go?" "Ummm I don't want to go anywhere today I want to play with Jack." That's it dog this means WAR!! "BUT YOU NEVER TURN DOWN THE OFFER OF PICK WHERE WE GO!!" " Well today's the day I break that record." Ohh hohoho that is it dog you are as good as dead when she leaves to the restroom ... no I'm not actually gonna kill or hit him just gonna tie him up on the rail with his leash. And as to tease me he starts to lick her face! I also see a rolled up newspaper in your future runt! "Well any way I'm going to set up a little room for him." Good I don't want him sleeping with my Rose ... if I can't he cant! "Oh ok" "And he looks a bit tired so ima put him to bed too ... if he doesnt settle down I'll just turn off the lights and shut the door." She says from the corridors. "Ok!" Ok ok this is my chance to show Rose that I love her more than that little runt. Right at the end of my thoughts she enters. "The TARDIS had all ready set a room up for him and put him to sleep." (actual sleeping not dead) "Oh ok" here I go "Rose can you come here please" "Sure." She stands a few feet away from me and I motion to her to come closer and she does. I motion closer and she cocks her head to the side a bit. I hear a slight sound of yipping and notice she didn't hear but I still telepathically tell the TARDIS to sound proof his room. Then I motion her to come closer so now I can feel the heat radiating out of her body. "Rose the dog is not the only one who can give you that much attention you know?" She BLUSHED! That to me is a plus. "I don't know what you mean Doctor." She's playing with me right? Either way I grab her by the waist and pull her towards me. "You know exactly what I mean. With you constantly petting it since we came back and not paying any attention to me." I pull her even closer and lean down to kiss her giving her enough time to pull away but she doesn't. HA! Doctor 2, runt 1! I kiss her I finally kissed her and she is actually kissing me back! We get so wrapped up in the kiss we don't notice the REAL Captain Jack walking down the corridors towards us. All of a sudden we hear slow clapping and "Man I can't believe I had to turn into a dog just to see this happen!" "JACK!!" I yell "Uh oh."He says almost sounding scared "Get over here!" I say happily and he walks over to me. "Do I get a kiss?" "Jack!!!" We say in unison.
