Third Person POV

Rose walked across the street to reach the estate; Jackie had called her earlier (relatively) and guilt tripped her into visiting. The Doctor claimed he had to fix something and was left back at the TARDIS. Rose climbed the stairs to her mum's floor and as soon as she reached the door it flung open and an over relieved mother held her in a crushing hug. "Mum I need to breathe", she said trying to pull away from Jackie. "Oh right sorry ... Where's himself?" "Probably lazing about in the TARDIS", she shrugged. (In TARDIS: The Doctor sneezed.)

"When's he finally goin to-", Jackie cut herself off. "Finally do what, mum?" Jackie panicked and quickly redirected the subject to the latest trends, which distracted Rose for a while. Back in the TARDIS the Doctor had a wire in his hand, the sonic in the other and a battery in his mouth. Not the best of ideas. He sonicked the wire and then switched the sonic for the battery, quickly connecting both electrode charged items. It sparked and his hair poofed. "Well, that could've gone worse", he said as he stood up, brushing off the dirt from his pants.

"Rose said five minutes, it's been an hour", he said looking up at the ceiling. He took his glasses off and shoved them into his coat's chest pocket. He patted down his hair, it shocked him a few times, and decided to check on her, even if it meant that he would be stuck there for awhile in till Jackie was done scolding him. He braised himself and left the TARDIS, arriving to the flat in record time. He knocked, knowing that if he sonicked the lock Jackie would hit him. Not doing that again. The door opened and there

stood Rose. "Hey Doctor, come in", she said moving aside. He entered and immediately noticed the bowl of lollipops and the wrappers surrounding it. "What's this?", he gestured to it. "Mum's trying to get a prize with all of these. They have a code and she entered them into her phone and it sends her a text telling her how many points she has. When she has enough it gives her a list of prizes." "So you've been rotting your teeth with sweets while I was hard at work?" She raised an eyebrow, "You once had four chocolate bars for

breakfast, I wouldn't be talking." "Touché." He sat down and picked up some wrappers, "Where's Jackie?" "Oh, she went to take a nap. She said she needed a break." "Why didn't you come back to the TARDIS then?" "She said if I left without helping her win something she would start selling my things", she laughed as she sat down next to him. She picked a lollipop up and took off the wrapper. She tasted it as the Doctor chose one. "This one tastes like bananas", she mused. It was taken out of her hand. "I want this one."
