Blind Folded

We all see where this is headed right? ... or is it just me? ...

Third Person POV

The Doctor was leaning on the console facing Rose, who was reading a magazine to try and catch up on the new trends in London. He stared intently at her waiting for any sign of her feeling eyes on her, but after 09:10:04 mins of staring he gave up. "Finally gave up I see." She spoke up still looking down at the magazine. "So you DID know I was staring at you!" He exclaimed dramatically. "Duh, Doctor you expect me to not know how it feels to be stared at?" He straightened up and may I say he looked a bit angry. "Rose." He spoke slowly. "How long have people stared at you?" Knowing full well by 'people' he meant men she looked up and smiled,"What's it to yuh?" She asked jokingly. He seemed to relax, having a feeling she knew how to fend them off, but definitely not going to let the matter go. "Rose come with me." She looked up again,"I got to read up before we go back to London, I don't want a repeat of last time." He didn't catch the last part of her sentence, he was too busy trying not to snogg her ... ever since she started calling her original home 'London' and the TARDIS 'home' he's been having more trouble keeping himself from kissing her. "Doctor? ... Doctor? ... DOCTOR!" Rose yelled trying to get his attention. "Hmm, yes?" "I'm done reading, you've been standing there for 5 minutes!" "Oh ... yes, well come with me." He started walking but stopped at the entrance of the corridor, and held his hand out to her. "Wouldn't want my favorite human to get lost now would I?" She blushed and got up to enlace their fingers. "Guess not." He smiled at her blush and started their journey through the endless corridors to find the white room. And it's just like the name implies, it's a pure white room ... except the door of course. They arrived in about ten minutes at their destination, known to the Doctor and unknown to Rose. They entered, the Doctor making a big deal about its transdimensional walls, or something like that, Rose wasn't listening. She went to touch the wall or what she thought was a wall, but her hand went straight through it. She turned around to ask the Doctor about it but when she turned around he was holding up a black blindfold and he looked dead serious. "This room will set up a special holographic battle course for you to go through." "Sounds easy enough." She smiled. "Yes, but your going to be blindfolded." He added. Rose paused for a moment,"Why?" She asked confused. "That's for me to know and you to find out." He muttered. "Well fat load of good you are. Can I see the course before I put the blindfold on?" She asked. "No, sorry ... don't worry it won't be anything dangerous." "Ok fine but if I fail miserably you owe me dinner ... and no the TARDIS can not help you." He pondered a bit, rocking back and forth. "Hmmm ... deal, but if you don't 'fail miserably' you owe me dinner." She looked at him, giving him the 'oh really' look. "I make it anyways!" "See then you win either way!" "How ... How do I win either way?" "You either get dinner not made by you or you get to make dinner and get compliments from me!" "No to me that's more of a win and small plus." "Fine, fine you give me a hug." She nodded,"Deal!" She grabbed the blindfold and set it on her face, turning around for him to tie it. Once she was 'blind' other 'men' spawned, well in reality they're just holographic. (A/N: Don't freak out people ... CHILL!) They were just set to stare at her and see if she could sense them and their intents. So far she was as still as a board. She attacked one, then another and another in till only one remained, the Doctor's. He clapped his hands as Rose took off the blindfold. But the hologram didn't disappear instead he stepped foward. She reached out a hand and touched his face,"Your real?" "Of course I am!" He smiled. "You trusted me enough to do that!?" She gasped. "I needed to know, Rose I just needed to." He hugged her. "To know what Doctor?" "If you could tell good intent from evil and be able to do something about it." "So you trusted me enough to stand there and let me attack!" "Well ... yeah I didn't need to try to trust you because I ..." He trailed off, looking away from her not wanting her to see his blush. "Because you what Doctor?" "Because ... we're best mates that's why!" He forced a chuckle and rubbed the back of his neck, still not looking at her. She reached a hand up to his left cheek and forced him to look at her. "I want the real answer Doctor." A few seconds later of eye contact his pupils dilated and that was the only answer she needed, she pulled him down by the lapels and kissed him with no preamble. And it was all settled, she wasn't stared at again ... especially not with the Doctor's icy glare staring right back them.
