Dojo Training (Tenkai)

~Elina's POV~

I dashed off to school in an instant. "SHOOT! I'M LATE, I'M LATE, I'M LATE!"

I got way too used to not going to school that i woke up at 6.45. I'm skating to school on my Rollerblades. Lucky enough, i wasn't late and i head straight to class. After school, i directly met up with Gen and when we saw the other four... Yeah you know what comes next.

"Come on guys, i worked on it all night!" Said Guren, showing a pad with a "training program".

"That's the sad part." Said Gen.

"Oh hey Gen. Hey Elina." Said Toxsa.

"What's up? More training?" Gen replied...with a question no less.

"Hi." I said waving.

"Yeah, that's what Guren calls it." Said Ceylan.

"Did you hear about the Guardians?" Said Guren. "It looks like we'll have to fight them now!"

Gen and i exchanged glances and nodded. "If you'd like, we could show you how to fight them." Said Gen.

"With what? Hair gel?" Asked Ceylan. A tick mark appeared on my head and my eyes were twitching. Jokes about bad guys, i don't mind. But jokes about my friends, yeah i'm not too "cool" with that.

"Funny." Gen said sarcastically. "No, i, or should i say, we are black belts with Ninja Arts."

"Almost anyway." I said crossing my arms. "Just a bit more training and I'll be one."

"No way, a black belt? You both must be really good then." Said Chooki.

"Will you really teach us?" Asked Guren.

"Not me." I said. "Gen will. I'm practically training to earn the same title he did."

We head to the dojo and Mr. White became our "Ninja Master". Gen first showed us to run with disks on our chest, without dropping them.

"Your turn." He said, handing a disk to me.

"Hai, Master." I said bowing. Don't ask.

I ran first and managed to do it in first try. The others did it as well but it took a lot longer.

Then he showed us the gauntlet and that we had to run through it too. I did it quite quickly and made it through. The others... Not so much.

We trained for the rest of the day and then went home. "Dang that was pretty though." I said as i walked home with Gen.

"If you think that was hard, wait until you see what i went through when i earned my black belt." Gen replied.

"You have a point." Then we arrived at the front door. "So... See you tomorrow?"

"Same place. Same time. See you." Gen said walking away.

"Looking forward to it." I said walking in. Another day, another game. I can't wait to see what happens next.

A few days later, we went back to the Dojo to train the knights. The training this time was the cage of snakes.

Toxsa went in and he got 64. Guren got 150. Chooki got around 500 and Ceylan, surprisingly got 800-ish. They started to argue on who was better until Mr. White, or should i say, Ninja Master White stooped them. Gen and i just sweat dropped.

A few days later, we are back at the dojo and all four of them went into the machine. They seemed to be getting along now.

"Hey Lina." Gen said, putting a hand on my shoulder.

"Uh... Yes Master?"

"It's your turn." He said. I nodded and went in.

I hit the snakes over and over again and when the program ended, the Knight Quartet pulled shock faces at me.

"Uh... What?" I asked.

"THAT!" They said pointing. I looked up at the score board and i saw my score. It's...

"1000?!" I said surprised and the four started to rant about this. Gen came up beside me.

"Elina." He said in a serious tone.

"Uh... Yeah?"

"The Ninja Master have spoken." Then he smiled. "You've just earned your black belt." He said, handing me one.

"I just... No way!" I took it and put it on. "Awesome! Finally!"

"Nicely done, Mistress." Gen said bowing.

Ok, i just can't control myself anymore. I jumped and hugged him as tight as i can. "Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH GEN!" Then i just realized what i said and blushed. A lot. My face is like a tomato now...

"N-no problem." Gen said, surprised and blushed as well. Lucky enough, the others were still ranting so the didn't hear.

I quickly let go of him and the day ended just like that. Ironic but it feels good.
