~Elina's POV~

"We can't go anywhere near it." Said Dromus.

"What do you mean? Isn't this what you wanted?" I asked.

"What?!"

"Well sure you're not the one riding it. But you wanted it to unleash its power, right? Well looks like, you got your wish."

"Yes but... I didn't-"

"I know. Poor you. Just can't get it right, can you? Life isn't fair. So what are you gonna do? Are you just going to give up?!"

"N-no, but..."

"Gen, i always thought you were the one who answer problems within a second, i thought you were the first ranked fighter in the Dojo. You were my hero. Not because of the way you look or the way you act, but because of what you did for me. I've always trusted you Gen and i still do.

If you're giving up just because of this, then you're not the hero i thought you were." He looked away.

"Whatever. Do what you want. I'm taking that lizard down!" I said charging.

I charged ahead and yet none of my attacks seemed to be working. Bravenwolf and Tributon joined me later on but they fell too.

"Hm... Alright i had enough! What the hell are you trying to do Vilius? You're going to take over the two worlds? Ok that's somehow understandable. But then what?" I asked.

"Oh, i wont stop with just the two worlds, i'll conquer other worlds out there as well!"

"Yeah, good luck. You're gonna need it when you're fighting me!"

"Oh is that right? Your sister was a weaklink when she was the original Syrenica, so what makes you think you're any better?"

".... Wait WHAT?!"

"She never told you did she? Or did she die before she had a chance? I can't quite remember."

"What are you talking about?!" My anger was building up, and i have no idea how much longer i could keep it in.

"She was the original Syrenica and when she faced me... Well, let's just say that she had a swift demise!" And he laughed.

"S-so... All this time, you were the reason why she's..." Outrage mode in 3... 2... 1...

BAM!

I charged at him as fast as i can and attacked him at the speed of sound. "You're. *hit* The. *hit* Reason. *hit* Why. *hit*  I. *hit* Had to. *hit* Live. *hit* My. *hit* Life. *hit* Alone. *hit* All. *hit* This. *hit* Time!"

I kept hitting him over and over while the others were just scared of what might happen. One blast there, and there, and over there, and just everywhere! I'm angry and everyone can see that.

Soon, i stopped and landed back on the ground. I took a few deep breaths to calm myself and i felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked back and saw the others.

"Calm down." Said Lydendor.

"I know. I'm trying." I said.

"Don't worry. If you're tired, we'll cover for you." Said Valorn.

"Thanks. But i'm fine. Or at least i will be once Vilius is gone and once everything, and i mean everything is back to normal."

"How do we beat him?" Asked Bravenwolf.

"How the hell should i know?" I said. "We definitely know that pure rage won't help. So what now?"

"We wouldn't be in this position if Dromus wasn't so selfish." Said Tributon.

"Tributon, it wasn't his fault. It's just there was a twist in his life that made him change so much." I said, defending my former friend. Yeah, former friend. It really hurts when i said it.

"Whatever, it's still his fault though." He said looking away.

~Gen's POV~

I watched everything that took place with Vanetta beside me. I heard the Knights talk about me as well. I'm actually surprised that Syre- i mean Elina- i mean...whatever. I'm surprised that she defend me while talking with them. But most of all, i'm surprised of what Vilius said about her sister.

"Am i missing something here?" Vanetta suddenly said. "After all our hard work, how did Vilius end up with the dragon? And why are you just standing there doing nothing?!"

"What did you expect me to do?! Go crawling back to Vilius?! It's not going to happen!" I snapped back at her.

"Don't bite my head off buddy! I'm not the klutz who loose the Black Dragon Key! Man-o-man! I turn my back one minute and our whole plan goes kaput! Why is it that boys always mess things up?!"

I thought about it and she was right. I messed up big time. I messed up my own life, i messed up my friendship with Elina and i messed up our plan. "... Maybe you're right." I said. "Ok, i wont get in your way anymore."

"Huh? What are you talking about?" Asked Beni surprised.

"From now on Beni, you go your way, and I'll just go mine." I said. Then i dashed off to join the fight.

~Elina's POV~

I was still fighting Vilius off at sonic speed. But after one of the blasts, i fell and when i look up, i saw Vilius aiming at me.

"This is where you meet your end!" He said.

I closed my eyes and waited for impact. But it never came. I opened my eyes and saw the shot being blocked... By DROMUS?!

"W-wha...?" I was confused but then smiled. "DROMUS! THANKS A BUNCH!"

"No problem. Friends help friends right?" He said and i nodded. Wait, friends? Did he... Gah! Focus! "Oh and, call me Gen."

"R-right!" I said. I got up and turned into my titan form and we joined Beag and the rest of the Corekai. They were surprised when they saw Dromus, but i can't blame them.

"What are you doing?" Asked Bravenwolf.

"I've been thinking." Then he looked at me.

"Uh... Huh?" I blinked a few times.

"Maybe you were right. Maybe I've been searching in all the wrong places for something that is right here, staring me in the face all along."

"E-eh? Y-you mean...!" I am so glad that could scream! Luckily i kept myself in.

"Your words really got to me. Anyway, i realize where i went wrong in my search for power. I was looking to gain strength by reviving the Tenkai Dragon but my real strength was inside me, waiting to be unleashed.  I know what i have to do. Not revive the Dragon but defeat it! Then I'll be the strongest of all!"

"Okay, the first part is true but not the last." I said, a bit annoyed. "This is our fight. You, me, Bravenwolf, Tributon, Valorn and Lydendor. All of us. Including the Corekai."

Then Vilius blasts at us again and Dromus managed to hold it back, but only for a while. Soon enough, he got blasted and fell.

"Dromus! You ok?" I asked.

"Fine." He said.

Then Vilius blasted us again but we weren't hit. We looked up and saw all four Guardians shielding us.

Then we watched as the Guardians fight off the dragon. Gen aimed at the key Vilius was holding and he shoot it out of his hand and into his own. "Now you have nothing Vilius!" He said.

The Guardians told us to bring out the White Dragon Key and we did. After that, Bravenwolf used the key and turned the Dragon back to a total of 6 Dragon Cubes. One for each Knight i take it. Then they told us to bring the key together.

"What do you say Dromus?"

"Like you have to ask Bravenwolf."

Then the Dragon Cubes merged with us and our armors glowed.

"This feeling..." Said Guren.

"It's like a surge of power." Said Gen.

"I feel... warm..." I said surprised.

"The is awesome." Said Ceylan.

"Oh yeah!" Said Toxsa.

"What is this?" Asked Chooki.

And all our armors turned into a golden color, though we still have different color details.

"You are now in Phoenix Mode." Said the Guardians. "An energy formed by merging with the Tenkai Dragon."

"You hear that guys? Our time to shine!" Said Bravenwolf.

"Our golden opportunity. Finish this once and for all!" I said.

"You thought i'd be impressed by just some changing color technique?!" Said Vilius.

Then Vilius absorbed the Tenkai Dragon's energy too... We are in major trouble.

"You really think so do you? Asked Ceylan sarcastically.

"Shut up." I said to him. I was thinking out loud, goddamnit!

"You say you wanted to finish this once and for all? Well then so be it!" Vilius said, towering over us. "Feel my power!" He blasted us but we withstood it.

"Remember guys, to think as one..." Bravenwolf said.

"Is to be as one." Said Tributon. "I never forget a punch line."

"Yeah that's right." Said Valorn. "One mind and one team!"

"Bingo! Us four, become as one!" Said Chooki.

"How about we make it 5 become as one?" I said.

"Better yet, make that 6!" Said Dromus looking at the rest of us. I smiled. It's so good to have him back.

"The more, the merrier! Now let's go kick some butt!" We said together.

"Here's for laughing at your own lame jokes!" Said Tributon.

"Here's for butting into my gaming time!" Said Valorn.

"Here's for all the foes!" Said Chooki.

They all attacked together. Then, Dromus and i jumped up.

"Here's for treating me like your servant!"

"And this is for my sister!"

We attacked and Vilius fell down to the ground.

"Who's master now?!" We said at the same time, smiling.

"Finish him Bravenwolf!" All 5 of us said.

"This is it Vilius. You're going down!" Said Bravenwolf jumping. "I'd say it's been fun, but i'd be lying!" And then, with one final attack, we blasted Vilius into none existence.

"It's over. I can hardly believe it." Said Dromus.

"Well don't, cause it's not. Shape shift into the Proto Jet. We still got two planets that are about to collide with one another unless we stabilize the portal!" Said Bravenwolf.

"Ok! But i'm still calling shotgun this time." Said Tributon.

"Whatever just hurry up!" I snapped at him. I heard Gen snickering a bit but he looked away when i faced him.

"How's the air up there you two? Sorry but the Proto Jet's built for only four people." Said Bravenwolf as we took off. Gen and i were riding on top of the Proto Jet.

"Well..." I gulped a bit. "If i wasn't so terrified of heights, i would be enjoying this..." Then i looked down but soon regretted it and clutched onto Dromus. "BUT I'M SO TERRIFIED OF HEIGHTS!" I said.

"You can fly but you're afraid of heights?" Asked Gen, who doesn't seem to have a problem with me hanging on to him.

"I'm afraid of being in places that are too high! I think the top of Benham City Tower is high enough for me, but this is crazy!" I said, clinging onto him even more. He sighed and just looked ahead.

I know what the others are probably thinking right now.

Guren: They look so cute together!

Ceylan: Oh they are so caught!

Toxsa: I am tackling them later on.

Chooki: Awwww, how cute.

Me be like, CRAP!

Seriously, CRAP! Oh well. We kept flying higher until we see the portal.

"Alright guys, remember what Boreas said, we can fix it with the Dragon's Tenkai Energy." Said Guren. "Are you ready?"

"Yeah- wait, am i ready for what?" Said Toxsa.

"What are we suppose to do?" Asked Chooki.

"I'm still trying to figure out how i'm not the coach man. He he he." Said Ceylan.

I let go of Gen and try to calm myself down. "We need to focus." I said. "So channel your energy and aim it at the portal! Got it?"

"Got it!" The others said.

We focused our energy to the portal, stabilizing it. Then, once we're back on the ground, i screamed at the top of my lungs, "WE FINALLY WON GUYS!!!"

"We know! Stop shouting!" Toxsa said. I stuck out my tongue at him, and realized he can't see it, so i just made as much weird faces as i can at him.

Then we head back to Earth and i went off to the park without saying a word.

~Gen's POV~

Elina walked out earlier on and i'm trying to catch up to her. After our talk, i just have to apologize to her. She's at the park with her headphones on and she was looking at the city, smiling sadly.

~Elina's POV~

I seriously need some space. I'm happy that we won and that the world is back to normal but still, Vilius is the reason my sister is gone? This isn't exactly the easiest thing to accept. I noticed Gen behind me so i waved him over, along with Guren, who just arrived.

"So... Do you want to talk about something or did you just want to enjoy the sunset?" Asked Gen.

I looked at Guren and he looked at Gen. "I wanted to give this back to you." Said Guren, holding up a silver coin.

"I don't want it." Said Gen. "It's yours, you can keep it."

"What was it you said?" Said Guren. "That you and i are the opposite sides of the same coin?"

"Take a number." I said. "He said those things to me as well."

"Did i?" Gen said.

"Yeah, only about everytime we ever met." Said Guren, sweat-dropping slightly.

"Same here." I said, holding up another coin, except it's gold. "But we're not opposites. We both have two sides to us." I said, placing a similar gold coin into his hand. "So you see Gen? You got it all wrong. Sometimes we can see eye to eye."

"I think your right." Said Gen smiling.

"What say we keep these coins as a token of our friendship?" Said Guren. "Get it? Token of our friendship."

"You suck at jokes." Gen and i said together.

"Ceylan is way better." I added.

Guren had a gloomy aura around him for a while but then brighten up. "Actually, that is a pretty spectacular sunset." He said looking at it. "So are we all friends then?"

"I don't know, we'll just have to see." Said Gen, smiling a bit.

"Ok." Said Guren. Then he left, leaving me and Gen alone.
