Mrs V:"what do you mean, getting married?"
Mr V:"Massimo, Raúl, come with me to the study, Now..."
He says with a small frown, but calmly
Danielle:"I take it Massy must not have told you all"
No one answers her, she seems unaffected as she just fills her plate and starts eating.
A while later, Mr Valastro, Raúl and massimo come out of the study and join us on the table...
Chris:"hello family!... Oh"
Chris bursts in and his excitement dies down when he notices Danielle, he tries to mask it and goes round the table greeting everyone before he settles on the space opposite me, he sends me a small smile and I smile back.
We all go to the porch and the guys move to a corner discussing business I guess
Brenda:"how and when exactly did you two get engaged?"
Danielle:"not so long ago"
Brenda:"that is not an answer"
Mrs V:"Brenda, let it go"
Danielle:"No Maria! Brenda, you have to get used to the idea of Massimo and I being together. You might not like it, but you have to get use to it"
Brenda walks away and Mrs V goes after her... Danielle scoffs and moves away to smoke.
A-M:"I don't mean to intrude, but do those two have beef?"
She chuckles
Juliana:"something like that. They've never liked each other, right from time, even when Elsa was alive, they never got along. It's mostly because Danielle is a conniving bitch"
She says the last part with a shrug. I simply nod
Massimo:"are you ready to leave Skai?"
A-M :"I suppose"
Danielle:"oh Massy darling, I didn't drive down here, do you mind taking me home?"
She suddenly appears and bats her lashes while talking to him, her voice at least an octave higher like a barbie doll
Massimo:"Skai didn't drive here either..."
Danielle:"get one of the drivers to take her home or Chris can, I don't think it will be a bother, will it Chris?"
She turns to Chris and raises her brow at him
Chris:"I don't think so, let's go Skai"
He looks at massimo and shakes his head. I say my goodbyes to everyone, I go to Brenda's room and we say our goodbyes, we exchange numbers and she promises to hang out when she's in town.

Chris and I just got back to the suite, I go into my room and freshen up, then we go to the gym to work out and by the time we come back to the suite, massimo is back
Massimo:"where are you two coming from?"
Chris:"we went to the gym dude"
Massimo:"Anne-Marie..."
A-M :"Skai, it's Skai to you sir"
He clenches his teeth and sighs
Massimo:"please come with me"
A-M :"No!"
Chris:"uhm I'll just go to my room"
A-M :"No"
Massimo:"yes"
We say simultaneously, Chris does a small salut and leaves for his room
Massimo:"I didn't know she'll come over to my parents"
A-M :"okay"
Massimo:"don't be like that"
A-M :"how?"
Massimo:"look,... I'm sorry, let me make it up to you"
A-M :"you don't have to apologise and you certainly don't have to make anything up to me"
He takes a step towards me and I take a step backwards
Massimo:"Please Anne-Marie,..."
A-M :"I'm going to bed"
I walk away and just a few steps away he grabs my arm and turns me towards him and kisses me. He presses me closer to him and the unexpected action causes me to gasp and he uses that as an opportunity and let's his tongue explore my mouth, I allow myself get lost in the kiss, I can't help myself when I'm with him, he makes me feel something, deep.
We pull away
Massimo:"Please Anne-Marie, give me sometime to make everything right again, please I beg you cara mía"
He tucks a loose strand of my hair behind my ear.
A-M:"I'm sorry massimo, I won't come second to anyone, I'm not even my parents second child"
I let out a small laugh when I realise what I just said, so corny, what the hell??
Massimo:"you're not my second option Anne-Marie. Please"
A-M :"No, the moment we get back to our normal lives on Monday, you'll have to get over what happened here, all we'll have is a professional relationship or else I'll quit and move back to my hometown"
Massimo:"don't make such rash decisions Anne-Marie, please I can't afford to lose you"
A-M :"you didn't have me"
Massimo:"I will, soon, very soon my Cara"
He places a soft kiss on my lips and walks me to my room
Massimo:"Good night Cara mía"
I roll my eyes and walk into my room and shut the door...
