THE WEEKEND IS FINALLY HERE. I have a date with Jeff today, and tomorrow I have a date with John. I don't know how I feel about this, but I think I just have to go along with it to find out, right?

I decide to straighten my hair for the date with Jeff, I don't know where he's taking me, so I'm a bit confused on what to wear.

Well, he said 'dress comfortably'. So, I guess a top and pair of jeans would do the trick. He also said he'll pick me up, so here I am trying to while away time, by binge watching some of my favourite shows.

I check the time and its just 4 o'clock and he gets here by 7. What in the world was I thinking when I decided to get dressed by 2pm?! Arrgggghhhhhhh!

I haven't seen my boys all week, let me call and find out what's up with them. I place a conference call, and wait for them to pick up.

"Hey princess" Jacob beams.

"Call me princess one more time and  Emilia would have a good time looking at the embarrassing photos I have of you."

"hahhahaa,she's gonna do it man! If I were you I'll be careful." Ace retorts.

"Whatever! I miss you boys so much. We haven't seen each other in forever!"

"We should meet up tomorrow then or later this evening"

"Yeah that's fine" Jacob agrees.

"Uh... I have a date this evening"

"Who's the guy? Where's he from? I need to know everything about him, enough for Ace to run a background check. I'm waiting skai"

"yeah who's the guy? I'm with you on this one Jacob."

"Can you two just shut your ass's up? He's just a colleague at work. Nothing more."

"hmmn okay. But I still need his full name."

"Since you can't come this evening, let's meet up tomorrow then."

"Uh - uhm... I have another date tomorrow"
Jacob:"what?!"

"Holy fuck!... Who are you?"

"Guys just calm down okay?"

"Who's this one? Your plumber?" Jacob smirks.

"Her electrician maybe" Ace quips.

"Fools! Actually, my boss. Like today's date, tomorrow is equally nothing big."

"Your boss?!" Jacob screams.

"You mean the guy who dropped you off at your place the other day?" Ace says.

"what guy?... What's gotten into you skai? Did you eat the stuff in Ace's fridge? I tell you it's not food, there's shit in there to make you higher than an air balloon"

Ace starts laughing off the hook.

"That'll teach you not to mess with my stuff."

"Omg I want full details... What happened after you ate the stuff Jay?"

"I'm not reliving that experience" he sighs.

"I'll tell you!"

"Breathe a word and I'm posting your high dance video on the Internet." Jacob says, while glaring at Ace.

"you wouldn't dare!" Ace narrows his eyes into slits.

"Okay enough guys! I don't even want to know anymore. But, Jacob for real though you need to avoid anything Ace makes!"

Ace and I start laughing.

"Mm, now let's not deviate from the topic. Skai you've got to be careful okay? Remember your defense moves?"

"Yes dad."

"if anything goes wrong you know who to call, we all know who's the strongest in this group, just saying"

"Shut your ass up!"

"I can't believe how much time I've spent just talking to you two on the phone, I gotta go guys, he'll be here anytime now."

A"all skirts and dresses knee length and below, not an inch above your knee, ya hear kiddo?" Ace says pointedly.

"Yes dad! And John and I aren't really going on a date just a book launch, I'm going to be his plus one."

"Thank you jesus!" Jacob breathes out.

"Yeah, thank you God!"

I roll my eyes.

"Bye!"

"Bye princess talk to you later, be careful." Jacob says.

"Bye Anne-Marie, see you later." Ace says.

I hang up just in time, as the next minute, the doorbell goes off.
