#4: Member of Multiple Fandoms, Most Notebly Total Drama and Steven Universe
Boy, where do I begin on how many fandoms I am a part of. The list is basically the size of the Empire State Building three times over and most of them are either cartoon or book related! However, I'll share a small list of a few of them just so you get the hint of my huge joining of fandoms problem. Seriously, I've got to be one of the worst introverts out there!
1) Sonic (Sanic) the Hedgehog: I love this fandom due to the complexity of the Archie comics and a few of the TV shows, most notably SatAM and Sonic Boom. The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog can just die in a fire for me, Sonic Underground is a bit too cheesy for my liking, and Sonic X is okay at best. I do play the games, but you'd have to pay me a million dollars to try Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric and Sonic 06.
2) Hunger (Hungry) Games: This fandom has three cleverly written novels that depict the struggles of the relatable Katniss Everdeen, as well as four much better movies. Mockingjay's novel ending was terrible in my opinion, and I don't mind the love triangle.
3) The Vampire Diaries (Better Twilight): The fandoms for both the books and the TV show are incredible, especially since this series in my opinion gets the idea of a love triangle right. However, the shipping wars just really need to stop.
4) Quarantine book series: I've just entered this very small fandom and I can't believe no one has really given these three books a chance. They are very refreshing in the young adult genre, even if there is a love triangle, which I admit to liking quite a bit.
5) Buffy The Vampire Slayer (Not The Horrid Movie): The TV series is among my top ten favorite of all time, and I heavily collect the spin-off comics. I will always ship Spike with Buffy, and despite the formulaic writing, I love being a huge part of this fandom.
6) Pokemon (Pocket Monsters): Do I even need to describe why I love this fandom? Pokemon is just too awesome for words!
7) The Miraculous Ladybug (New Spiderwoman): I thought I was going to hate this show when I first watched it truthfully, but it proved me wrong. Despite the show having a few cliches, they are excellently done and the concept is pure genius. However, I'm not a super fan of the whole idea of the two main characters being together, but the show and its fan base are too good for me really to mind.
8) Steven Universe (How To Make Gemstones Cool): From Rebecca Sugar, former Invader Zim fan (a show I was frightened of as a kid) and former Adventure Time writer (a show I never really tried), who managed to make a masterpiece of a show. Seriously, I love everything freaking thing about this program, whether it is the creative writing, complex characters, cosplay, fanart, or the awesomeness that is the Crystal Gems. Also, it created Peridot, one of my favorite characters of all time. If you haven't tried this program yet, please do. The fandom is really friendly and the cartoon appeals to all ages.
9) Madoka Magica (The Darker Cousin of Sailor Moon): Currently my favorite anime, even with only twelve episodes, Madoka Magica managed to not only create some of the most memorable characters in anime history, but made me cry multiple times with its beautiful ending. I love other anime's such as Attack on Titan and Black Butler, but this show is definitely the one you need to see before the former two. Also, the fandom of course is great and I'm happy to have experienced it.
10) Total Drama (Survivor and The Amazing Race If They Were Charmingly Funny): The show I've loved for basically half my life and the fandom I'm most involved with, Total Drama is a great cartoon that has its flaws, but is really memorable. I don't hate a single character from this show, and I can see why it is still on. However, I have one question; WHEN IS IT COMING BACK?!!!!
