"Are you almost ready, darling?" Namjoon ran a hand through his short hair as they waited backstage, "And you're sure that you want to do this?"
Nari nodded, "Yes. Your fans are important to you and I want to meet them too."
"Alright," The boy smiled, "I'm just warning you, you're probably going to be asked the most questions today. You don't have to answer anything that you don't want to, okay? If you get uncomfortable at any time I want you to tap your left foot twice and look over at me. I'll handle it from there. Does that make sense, Nari?"
"Yes, Namjoon," She wrapped him in a quick hug, "But don't worry about me. I'll be okay."
Namjoon chuckled as they stepped onstage, "If you insist, darling."
Bright lights blinded the girl for a second as the cheers of young girls rang through her ears. She looked out to the audience to see at least 50 people all yelling her name. Nari managed a smile and waved shyly, which just made them louder.
"Hello everyone!" Her companion greeted them, "Thank you for coming out to support us!" Namjoon gently placed a hand on her head, "I'm sure most of you know her already, but this is Nari. She's the new member of our family and she will be joining us today for Q&A and signing. I hope you guys make her feel welcome here."
Nari could feel her face turning red as she bowed, "It's very nice to meet you all." She quickly stood up and took her seat, sandwiched in the middle between Suga and Namjoon. The curly haired boy gave her a bright smile. With all of his makeup on, Suga really did look sweeter than ever before.
"Uh, hello, this question is for Nari."
A soft voice snapped her back to the stage and saw a girl not much older than herself standing at a microphone. Nervous butterflies rose in her stomach. This is it.
"You said in the interview that came out a few months ago that you liked books," The girl continued, "What are some other things that you like so we know what to get you as gifts?"
Nari shot a nervous glance at Namjoon on her left, who nodded reassuringly. She took a deep breath, "Well, you don't have to get me anything. I've got everything I could ever want right here." The girl paused as murmurs went up from the crowd, "But if you really want to get me something, I like the art that you guys make for the boys. I think that you're all really talented and I love seeing it around the house."
"Thank you so much!"
The girl in the audience eagerly stepped aside, allowing the next person in line to come forward. Nari let out a sigh of relief. The first question was over. Suga placed his hand on top of hers and gently squeezed her fingers. Instantly, the girl relaxed and looked attentively at the next person at the microphone.
"This question is also for Nari," The fan stated, "What's something that you can tell us about each of the boys that most people don't know?"
"Hmmm," Nari thought for a minute, "Namjoon is bad at doing the dishes."
A laugh came from the crowd and the boy on her left side agreed sheepishly, "I honestly can't deny that one."
She giggled with renewed confidence, "Hobi has the most clothes, Jimin takes the longest to get ready in the morning, Jungkook dyes his own hair even though he's not supposed to, Jin sings in the shower, Suga is really good at telling stories-"
"Oh hey," Jimin interrupted, "What book are you guys reading now?" He turned to the audience, "They read to eachother like every day, it's so cute."
"We're reading The Catcher In The Rye!" Suga answered cheerfully.
"Wait wait," Namjoon interjected, "You can't read that."
Nari turned around to face him, obviously confused, "Why not? It's a good book. I like it."
"It has adult material," He shot a dirty look at the other boy, "Dude. She's in middle school."
Suga shrugged, "I read way worse when I was 12. Besides, it's a classic and Jungkook was the one who bought it for her."
"Hey! Don't pull me into this!" The youngest boy protested, causing a giggle to rise from the crowd, "I've never even read it before, you know I hate reading, so how was I supposed to know? I just bought it because she finished all my comics and there was a horse on the cover."
"Boys, boys," Taehyung chided them, "This is Nari's question." He placed his head in his hands and looked up at the girl with bright eyes, "And she hasn't said anything about me yet. Shut up."
Nari laughed, "That's right: Tae, you are really good at giving piggyback rides."
"Can we see?" A shout came from the audience. Nari tentatively looked over at the blue haired boy, who smiled and nodded.
"Yeah, why not?" Taehyung got up from his seat and motioned for the girl to come over as the crowd cheered. Nari blushed, wrapped her arms around his neck, and held on tight.
"One, two, three!"
The wind rushed through the girl's ears and once again, she felt very tall. She rested her head comfortably on the boy's shoulder and scrunched her nose, "You smell like hairspray and weird cologne."
Taehyung gave a hearty laugh, "Thanks, Nari." He motioned for the next audience member to come forward.
The girl confidently stepped up to the microphone, "Does Nari have a boyfriend."
"No." Namjoon and Taehyung immediately said in unison, prompting a giggle from the crowd. Nari couldn't help but feel her cheeks getting redder once again.
"Nari can love whoever she wants," Namjoon continued, "...when she's older. I'm not ready to let her go yet."
'Exactly." Taehyung agreed, "I'm not gonna let another baby sister grow up too soon. Nari will always be my little girl so any boy she brings home is gonna have to go through me first. And if they break her heart, I'll beat them up."
Jin sighed, "V, if you carry on like that, you'll scare them all away."
"Good."
The girl bashfully buried her head in the boy's shoulders. She'd almost forgotten about that kind of love. Truthfully, Nari didn't really mind Taehyung's tendency to be a bit overprotective. It felt good to be loved.
"This question is for Namjoon," The next fan at the microphone in front of them said, "How did you choose Nari? And are you going to adopt any more kids?"
Namjoon shook his head, "Nah, Nari's the only one I need right now. I'm not going to have kids until I'm at least married." He smiled, "And as for choosing Nari, it just felt right. I didn't have to put a lot of thought into it. I'm a big believer in fate, so I think that it was just one of those things that was meant to be. Nari belongs with us and I felt that in my heart as soon as I met her."
"Yeah, it really didn't take long for them to find eachother," Jin added.
Nari wrapped her arms lovingly around Taehyung's neck, "I'm really glad that Namjoon adopted me." She said softly, "I love my new family."
"We love you too!" Taehyung turned his head to give the girl a quick peck on the cheek, "Right, ARMY?"
An excited cheer rose from the crowd before them and Nari could feel her blush deepen. She didn't know any of these people, and yet they were so nice.
"This question is for Nari," The next fan spoke, "In your opinion, which member of BTS is the most underrated?"
"Underrated?" The girl repeated, "Hmm, that's a good question. I'll have to think on that one a little."
Taehyung shifted from one foot to the other, "While you think, I just want to ask: can someone take a photo of us please? I know that you guys technically aren't allowed to use your phones during Q and A, but this is cute and I want a picture of it. Please."
"Tae," Nari laughed as a sea of phones rose from the audience in front of them, "You're gonna get in trouble." She smiled brightly and looked out towards the cameras. Taehyung was grinning from ear to ear, the girl had never seen him any happier. She allowed a few more minutes for photography and then gently tugged at his earlobe, the one without dangling earrings, "Can I go down please?"
The boy obliged and kneeled down as Nari slid off of his back. He wrapped her in quick hug, "Thank you, princess." Taehyung whispered before heading back to his seat.
"Love you too," Nari replied and turned back to the audience, "And to answer your question, I think that all of them are underrated in one way or another, but Hobi and Jimin's kindness is underappreciated the most." She gestured towards J-Hope, who looked surprised, "Hobi donates a lot to charity, way more than what's made public. He always makes sure that I'm happy, and when I'm not, he won't leave until he makes me laugh. He's a really good listener too. Hobi has such a big heart and I think that's overlooked sometimes."
J-Hope shook his head modestly, "You give me too much credit. But thank you, Nari-bun. That really means a lot to me."
"Of course, Hobi. You deserve it. And Jimin is definitely the most thoughtful," Nari paused for a second, "I've been going through a lot of tough personal stuff recently and Jimin is always there for me even when I don't ask him to be."
She smiled as she remembered that Jimin always volunteered to take her to therapy appointments and she preferred him to be there more than anyone else. He could somehow sense when it was a particularly rough session, and more often than not, he held her hand on the way home. They didn't talk much, but that gesture in itself meant so much more than words ever could.
"He shows his kindness in little ways," Nari continued, "Like bringing everyone water after choreography practice, cleaning up the kitchen, hanging up fanart, small stuff like that. Jimin cares so much about all of us and all of you."
"Yeah, definitely," Jungkook added, "He's one of the kindest people I know." The rest of the members murmured in agreement.
Jimin self consciously managed a laugh, "Thanks, guys. You always make sure I'm loved."

"Here, I made this for you," A girl with long brown hair handed Nari a small canvas from across the table, "I'm glad that you said earlier that you liked art."
Nari gently took the painting, which was a portrait of her surrounded by the other boys. It was absolutely beautiful. "Thank you so much!" Nari responded with a big smile, "You're so talented, I love it!"
"Really?" The fan blushed, "Thank you very much." She handed a similar canvas to Namjoon, who was sitting beside her at the signing table, "I made one for you too."
Namjoon eagerly accepted the gift, "Thank you!" He grabbed a headshot from the pile next to him and signed it, "Here, this is for you. Thank you so much for supporting us!"
"Nari, can you sign it too?"
"S-sure!" Nari stammered and grabbed a sharpie, carefully printing her name below Namjoon's. She handed the photo back to the fan, "I hope you enjoy the concert."
Namjoon nudged the young girl's shoulder, "You doing ok, darling?"
"Uh huh! I'm good," Nari answered cheerfully, "Everyone is so nice."
"Hi," The two turned their attention to the new girl in front of them, who shyly waved.
"Hey there!" Namjoon greeted her warmly, "Thank you for coming! What's your name?"
The girl smiled softly, "It's Gi. And uh, Namjoon? You're my bias."
"Awe, that always makes me happy to hear," Namjoon laughed and reached for the pile of headshots, "Thank you, Gi."
"Um, Namjoon, I also just want to say thank you for supporting the LGBT community," Gi continued shyly, "I met my girlfriend through being an ARMY and your music keeps me going when things get tough." Her gaze dropped to the floor, "People aren't really supportive where I'm from."
Namjoon's voice softened, "I'm sorry to hear that, Gi." He rose from his seat and gave her a loving hug from across the table, "No matter what happens, always know that BTS supports you and loves you for who you are." The boy gently let go and sat down as he picked up a headshot and a sharpie, writing for a little longer than usual.
"Oh, what's your girlfriend's name?" Namjoon asked and grabbed another picture, "I'll write one for her too."
"It's Kaia. She's from America." The girl said wiped a tear from her cheek. Nari could see that her hands were shaking.
"I'll write in English then."
Gi handed the other headshot to the young girl beside him, "Would you mind signing one too?"
Nari eagerly nodded, "Sure." She uncapped her marker and smiled as she noticed the message that Namjoon wrote.
Gi,
Thank you for being a fan. People like you inspire me to keep doing what I do. Love will always win and BTS will always support you.
Lots of love,
Kim Namjoon (RM) ♡
No matter who it was, Namjoon always gave his love. That was one of the things that she loved the most about him. Nari signed her name below his and added a heart as well. She handed the photograph back to the girl and waved goodbye.
"Do you get a lot of fans like that?" She asked the boy beside her.
"Yes, but I don't usually get to meet them," Namjoon replied sadly, "As much as I hate to admit it, it takes a lot of time and money to get to one of our signings. I'll probably never get to meet the people that I've impacted the most because of that. Money runs the world whether we like it or not. " He managed a small smile, "But I know that they're out there and that's all that matters."
Nari nodded and leaned against the boy's shoulder. She didn't think that he knew it, but those words filled her heart with so much warmth and happiness. Namjoon's love is just that powerful. It didn't affect just her, but everyone that he met.
