Family (가족)
"Namjoon! It's good to see you again!" Kyong greeted the boy warmly from the hospital room.
"It's good to see you too," Namjoon shook the man's hand, "Congratulations on the baby," He stepped aside to introduce the girl standing bashfully beside him, "I brought some people that I thought you might want to see."
Nari spoke shyly, "Hello, Kyong."
"Hi!" Taehyung exclaimed and popped his head into the doorway, with Suga right behind him, "Where's the baby? What's her name?"
Kyong smiled, "She's with Hyo, if you'd like to see her. The pain meds haven't worn off yet, which means that she's still a little out of it. So Nari, don't be surprised if she calls you by the wrong name." He opened the door wider to reveal the woman in a bed, holding a small bundle in a pink blanket.
"Hello, Yon," Hyo greeted the girl softly, "This is your little sister, Areum."
Taehyung eagerly stepped into the room before being firmly stopped by Namjoon, who shook his head. "Nari should be the first one to see her, Tae." He said softly and nudged her forward, "Go ahead, darling."
Nari cautiously continued. Butterflies rose in the girl's stomach as she walked closer to the hospital bed. She gently placed a hand on the guardrail, feeling a tear drip down her cheek.
The baby was so small and so innocent looking as she slept soundly in Hyo's arms. Nari had never really understood why the boys were so protective over her, especially Taehyung, but it all made sense now. She loved this child so much. Nari never wanted her to know the evils of the world and how horrible and disgusting that it could be, she wanted her to stay like this forever: Peaceful and pure.
Was I ever like this? She wondered, Did I begin life this uncorrupted, this quiet and clean? The invisible grime beneath Nari's skin took over her mind once more, And if I was like this, when did I get so dirty?
"She's beautiful." The girl said quietly, shaking those thoughts from her head as she met the eyes of her mother.
Hyo smiled, "I know, right? Areum, it means beautiful." She looked up at her, "I don't remember much from when you were born, Yon-I'm sorry, I mean Nari-but I remember holding you in my arms just like this. You were just as beautiful."
"She's right," Taehyung stood behind Nari, placing a supportive hand on her shoulders, "You have such adorable daughters, Hyo."
"Thank you so much," The woman replied, "Would you like to hold her, Nari?"
She nodded shyly and allowed her mother and Taehyung to assist her, making sure to support the infant's head. The baby opened her eyes slowly, showcasing beautiful bright blue irises. The girl smiled and felt her heart grow warm. She looked to the boy hovering over her shoulder, "Look, Tae, we're family."
Before Taehyung could answer, Areum opened her mouth and began to scream. Nari's eyes grew wide with panic, "I'm sorry!" She mumbled and looked to her mother, "What do I do? I-I'm sorry!"
"It's okay," Hyo assured her, accepting the baby back into her arms, "Babies cry all the time. It's not your fault." She shushed the child to no avail and chuckled, "She's so sassy already."
Suga laughed, "Sounds like someone else I know."
"Definitely," Namjoon agreed, "Nari might not show it, but she's a little spitfire."
The girl's face flushed out of embarrassment, "Maybe a little." She came to a sudden realization, "Hey, if she was born today that means that she has the same birthday as Suga!" Nari grabbed the more reserved boy's hand and pulled him over to the bedside, "See, today is special! It's your birthday and Areum's too!"
"You're right, it is special," Suga said softly, "Special for me, you, and Areum." He smiled brightly, "March 9th, huh? I'll mark it on the calendar next year."
Hyo looked to the older boy, "Oh, it's your birthday? Happy birthday, Yoongi! How old are you?"
"28."
"What? 28?" She exclaimed, "That means that you're older than me! I'm 26!" The woman laughed, "Well Yoongi, I hope that this a good enough birthday present."
Suga nodded, "Don't worry, Hyo. This is the best present ever."

Nari groaned as she rolled over in her bed, shooting a glance at the clock. 3:48 AM. Even though they had gotten home around midnight, she still couldn't fall asleep! Even Sonia didn't stir in her small enclosure. Nari's body felt as heavy as lead but the girl's mind still ran at top speed replaying all the events of the day. After counting sheep for what felt like an eternity, she finally gave up and shuffled out of bed. Maybe getting a drink would help.
As the girl walked down the stairs to the kitchen, she noticed light emanating from the hallway. Someone was awake after all. Probably Suga. He never sleeps for more than a few hours at a time. However, when Nari entered the kitchen she was surprised to see a boy with bubblegum pink hair standing blankly in front of the door.
"Jimin?"
"Oh, hey," He greeted her and grabbed a pair of car keys, "Wanna go for a drive?"
Nari shrugged, "Sure." It was hard to say no to him, he's just too nice.
"Great!" Jimin tossed her a hoodie from the coat rack, "I'm hungry as hell. Let's go to McDonalds."
Not exactly having another option, the girl slipped on her shoes and followed him to the garage where the boy unlocked a very expensive looking sportscar. Jimin yawned as he started the ignition, "Ready?"
"Ready."
They pulled out of the driveway with the radio playing softly as they drove in silence to their destination. Jimin tapped his fingers to the beat on the steering wheel, "Hey sweetheart, have you been doing okay?"
"Yeah," The girl replied, "I'm doing great, actually. I'm happy that I get to go to America with you guys and my nightmares haven't even been that bad."
"I'm glad to hear that," He breathed a sigh of relief, "I'm sorry that I haven't been the one to take you to therapy lately, everything has been so busy and all. I feel bad about that sometimes."
Nari shook her head, "Don't be. It's okay, Jimin. I'm doing just fine without you."
"You're such a big girl already," The boy teased lovingly, "You say you don't need your favorite big brother anymore. That hurts."
"I never said that!" She laughed, "And you're not my favorite because I don't have a favorite. I love all of you equally."
"Okay, but who's the one taking you out to eat at 4 am, hm? Can't I have a little bit of brownie points for that?" He pulled up to the drive through window at McDonalds, "Oh, sweetheart, what do you want?"
"Just a milkshake. Vanilla please."
Jimin nodded and turned to the speaker, "Can I get a vanilla milkshake, quarter pounder with cheese, and two happy meals? With chocolate milk and apple dippers, please."
"Don't you think we're a bit old for that?" Nari giggled, "I haven't had a happy meal since I was little."
"You're always going to be little to me!" The boy exclaimed, "And besides, they have BT21 minifigures as the toy. I've been trying to get Chimmy for weeks."
They drove to the next window where the employee handed the two their food after they paid. As soon as they parked a little ways away Jimin handed Nari one of the happy meals and he excitedly tore open the box.
"Dammit! RJ again!" He groaned and held up a small llama, "I have like 5 of these already. Nari, what did you get?"
The girl showed him a bright pink bunny, "Kooky, I think."
"I already have a Kooky too. Damn!" Jimin sighed and unwrapped his burger, "Oh well, there's always next time. Hey, have you thought any more on that Twitter account that Rika mentioned?"
"Not really," Nari shook her head, "What do you think, Jimin?"
The boy gulped down the small jug of chocolate milk, "I think you should take it. You'll get to interact with the fans and maybe make some new friends. I think it'll be good for you."
She nodded, "Thanks. I'll keep that in mind." The girl took a sip of her milkshake and yawned, finally feeling a little tired. "Hey Jimin?"
"Hm? What's up?"
"You said earlier about brownie points...maybe if you let me go to that tattoo parlor that Jungkook likes-"
Jimin playfully ruffled her hair, "Nice try, but I don't think that one is gonna work, not even on Taehyung. You know the rules: No tattoos until you're 18. I'll take you to get your ears pierced though, but we'd have to talk it over with your legal guardian first."
"You're too responsible, " Nari lightheartedly sighed, "That's no fun."
"Listen, I just don't want my ass handed to me by Namjoon, " Jimin protested, "He is protective over you like you wouldn't believe, way more than Tae, he just doesn't show it when you're around. You can't tell him about this little adventure either. He's such a pain sometimes, like going to McDonalds at 4 in the morning is gonna ruin your brain. Whatever. You're already smart as hell." He held out his little finger, "Nari, you gotta pinky promise me that this stays our secret, okay?"
"I promise." The girl linked her pinky with his, "This is fun though. We should make these trips more often."
The boy laughed, "Yeah? I'll keep that in mind, sweetheart. These BT21 toys are only gonna be released for another month, and I'll be damned if I don't get Chimmy before then."
