Skylor's POV

I heard the announcment on the speakers and mentally facepalmed. Of course, dad is being dramatic as always.

"ALL THE TEAM LEADERS TO THE MAIN HALL PLEASE." Ah, yes. That must be Clouse, my dad's best friend. He is always so moody and serious.

I went to the main hall and saw four people. Wait, four? Aren't there supposed to be only three schools?
I saw Clouse and walked up to him.

"Uh, Clouse? Who's the other guy? Aren't there supposed to be only three schools?" I wispered to him. He raised an eyebrow. He was always so sassy and snobby.

"This year, you know, the Bad Boys school will be participating." Wait what?! That school was banned from the Games like three years ago!

Well, I guess I should start socializing.
I saw the other team leaders and saw that I was the only girl. Great..
I went ahead and introduced myself. There was Nadakhan, leader of the Sky High School Team, Morro, leader of Ghostville High Team and James, leader of The Bad Boy's High Team. He was actually pretty friendly for someone who had their whole school banned from the games.

"Wait, what's your team name again?" Morro asked me. Team name?! No one told me about a team name! I looked at them confused.

"You know, like, we are the Ghosts, Nadakhan's team is the Pirates and James' team is the Doubles." He said again, raising his eyebrows. I quickly
trued to play cool.

"Pfft! Of course we have a team name! We are the uh.. WE ARE THE NINJAS!" I said as fast I could. I couldn't really think of anythink else. And we do live in Ninjago so.. I guess it makes sense?

After that, my father introduced the teams to the audience. Everyone cheered and clapped. We went back to our teamates to duscuss our program.

"Okay, Pixal, Zane. You are first. You two will start in about fifteen minutes. Best of luck!" I told them. They nodded and went on to prepare.
They were even holding hands! Aw!

I was about to leave to go see my father when someone stopped me.

"Uh, Sky?" Oh it was Jay. I got scared for a second.

"What is it?" I said. I had to get going, but I was also curious about Jay's question.

"About that guy from the Bad Boys High.. Is he friendly?" He said to me. Oh, now I get it. He's just jelly about him talking to Nya. What? I mean, come on, if you want nobody to know you have a crush on her, don't make it so obvious.

"Is someone jealous here?~" I teased him a bit. He quickly denied everything but I just gave him 'the look'.

"He is an okay guy. No need to worry. But I really have to get to my father. See ya!" I waved at him and he waved back looking relieved.

Jay's POV

Wohoo! I can trust this guy! At least I think so. Maybe not..
Anyways, the ice skating contest was about to start and Zane, along with Pixal were first. They really nailed it. Their turns were smooth and the turns were so well timed.
They ended up coming in second place, only losing to Bansha and Archer from the Ghosts. They tripped over a bit and I noticed that the ice looked like it was melting. Everyone quickly got out of the arena until they fixed it up. Strange.

Next up were Kai and Skylor. They had practiced so much for this. I am really proud of them. Are they official now? They haven't gone to their date just yet, but I guess they are. Kind of?
Seeing Kai not trip over was a bit dissapointing, considering it was hilliarious, but oh well. At least they came in third. We were second in total, just two points before the Pirates.

Seliel and Lloyd did really well in soccer, because strangely enough, it was a 2v2. Harumi's and Cole's were pretty good as well.

FINALLY! it's my time to shine! Woohoo! Now, this, is what I've been practicing for all day. Let's hope I win! I was against Dogsank, Rider and Zack. Ya know, the Bad Boy's Team looked awfully like us. Just a but paler maybe. Well, this is gonna be fun. I was running super fast and almost tripped over at some point. I made it to the finish line and..I WON! Woohoo!

The others came to say congrats and we were on the lead. The last sport is swimming. So.. I guess we already won, cause Nya is gonna beat the competion. She was just waiting to get in the pool, as Kai informed her how to not drown. Says the guy who is afraid of water.

I was just chatting with Cole. I overheard a "Good luck" in a flirtatious tone and it was coning from James. I was starting to think he was nice too! Nya just ignored him, annoyed. They went into the pool and started swimming. We all cheered for Nya. She was gonna win for sure. They had to make one final dive and while the competitors were still underwater, everyone gasped. The whole pool was turned into ice. Me, Kai and Harumi quickly ran over to where Nya was, while the other teams were trying to help the others. She was punching the ice to get out. But she couldn't. We tried to burn it out, punch it, nothing.

Nya signed for us to move away and so we did. She mived to the bottom of the pool and rose up fast. She then tried to punch the ice and she managed to get through it! We got her out of there and we let her choke. She had some cuts in her hands, so I picked her up bridal style and we all went to get some bandages.

"We heard what happened! Are you okay kids?!" Four figures said to us. I recognized two of them as Ed and Edna, the people who pretty much raised me.

"Mom? Dad? What are you doing here?" Kai said. Wait.. Those where their parents? I thought they were overseas.

"We wanted to surprise you by coming here for the Games! We got lost, but luckily these kind people helped us out." Their mother said to us. Nya was resting on a bed and was really happy to see them.

"Oh, son! I am so glad you are here!" Ed and Edna said and hugged me.
Nya looked at me, confused and I explained everything.

"Aw, look at our Jay finally getting a girlfriend. Aren't you happy Ed?" I heard this and we quickly denied.

"No no, she is just a friend. No need to worry." I said nervously and she agreed.

"For now.." I heard Cole whispering, which made me blush.

"Well, we better all get going now. You are free to join us for lunch if you want! Get better Nya!" Our parents said to us and left.

"Well, what a day huh?" I akwardly said. They all nodded in agreement.
I still wonder though.. How did all this happen? Was it a freeze ray? I'm so confused..
