I was just about to get my drawing tablet, but then we had to buy something. So I'll have to wait a few other months before I can develop in digital art ;-;.

Jay's POV

I went back to the others and the rest of the night was exactly the same as always. My dad introducing me to people with fake smiles, fangirls and lots of journalists. But this time, at least I had Nya to support me. Her hand must be really tired from all the thumbs-up she was giving me during this..

Cole can't cook, but a famous chef that was there taught him how to bake a gourmet cake. And we know that this is going to be the only thing he eats from now on.

Kai wanted to be next to me, to get some of that fame as well. Of course. But.. you can have as much of it as you want.

We went back to the hotel. It was like, 1AM now and we all changed into our PJs. I think that this is the time to tell them.

"Uh guys? Can I ask you something?" I said rubbing the back of my neck.

Kai and Lloyd looked up from their video games, while Cole turned his head towards me, his mouth full of cake. Lloyd came back from brushing his teeth.

"You see there is a g-girl that I want to impress, but I don't know h-how. A-And she has a really overprotective b-brother.." I stuttered. The others understood what I was saying and smiled at me. Kai turned back to his video games and casually said:

"Just kill off the brother." The others started laughing and Kai looked confused.

"I don't think this is a good idea." I said, trying not to laugh.

He got up, along with the others and they started arguing about who's advice I am gonna follow. Zane calmed them down and they all agreed for me to follow their advice one by one. The losers had to buy cake to the winner.

"Just come meet me at the local park tommorow okay?" Lloyd said to me and I nodded.

We all eventually headed to bed and fell asleep.

*Next Day*

Last night I was so nervous I couldn't sleep. What if that doesn't work? Ugh, I am useless. (Aww come here bluebird!)

Oh crap! I totally forgot about the park! I quickly changed into my white t-shirt, blue sneakers and gray jeans. I quickly grabbed my jacket and ran off.

IT'S SNOWING! Okay, I know that I'll be late, but I just have to make a snow angel.

I arrived at the park and saw Lloyd sitting on a tree branch. He made a sign for me to climb up the tree and so I did.

"Okay, the girls are gonna be here any minute now. Now my advice is that you gotta be her hero okay? Her Prince Charming. I am gonna make her fall and you catch her. Got it?" Lloyd said to me. It could actually work. That's what girls want, right?

"Okay! Got it! Now we just need to- AH! SPIDER!" I fell off the tree, but I didn't quite fall.

"Uh.. Hey. Are you.. okay?" Oh god, Nya caught me. Just play it cool Jay. Just play it cool.

"Why would I not be? A mutated squirrel just attacked me! And I- beat it up with a stick!" I said with a nervous laugh. I could see Lloyd facepalming from the top of the tree.

"Uh-huh. I have to get back to the others now. See you later!" She waved at me and left.

Lloyd got down from the tree and gave me the 'you messed up' look.
I let out a nervous laugh once again.

"Let's go to Zane.." He sighed and said to me.

"Okay, so, Nya is smart. So she must like smart guys. So you have to know some facts. First off, you need to study some random facts in order to impress her. Now read this." Zane said to me, Lloyd looking unsure about his plan.

This is gonna be a long day.

I have been reading this book for HOURS. I am so tired. It's like school. During the holidays..

Zane and Lloyd came with me over to the girl's room where Skylor opened the door. We explained what was going on and she laughed.

"Nya! Could you come here?" Skylor shouted inside. I heard a "Coming!" coming from Nya.

She arrived at the door and looked at us.

"What's up?" She said to us. Okay Jay, time to be smart.

Warning: These are fake facts people! Well, maybe the second one is true though.. 😏

"Did you know that the phrase 'what's up' came from the legendary Captain Soto? He said it in his last fight with Nadakhan." I simply said. I even wore fake glasses for this, so Zane, this better be worth it.

"Oh, cool!" She said, looking amazed.
Time for more.

"Did you know that the word cool comes from the ancient word 'coolios', said by Au51in
a famous writer? He was the prince of the Jaya Kindom back in his time. And still is." I said.

"Okay..?" Now she looked a bit concerned. Okay, one last one.

"Did you know that the word 'Okay'- mphmphh!" I was cut off by Zane and Lloyd putting their hands my mouth.

"He's too overloaded!" Lloyd said to Zane and he just nodded. They grabbed my shoulders and pulled me away. Ugh, second attempt was a fail.

"Okay, you are WAY to overloaded. We have to distract him from this. It's too much knowledge for his brain to handle." Zane said, while they were dragging me down the hallway, leaving a confused Nya and a laughing Skylor behind.

They both had the same thought. Video Games. And so, we went straight back to our dorm and plugged on our NS4. We started playing and after a few hours, Cole and Kai came back holding a cake. Or, at least, an empty plate of cake.

"What? It was tasty." Cole said, with a muffled, full of cake mouth.

"So.. Time for my advice?!" Kai and Cole both said, arguing about who's gonna give advice first. Again.

They both played 'Rock, Paper, Scissors' and Kai won. Oh, I don't have a good feeling about this..

He wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

"Look. If you wanna win her heart the right way, then set it up on fire.
Be flirty. Be chill. And you'll see some shocking results. How do you think I won Skylor?" Kai said to me in a very smooth way.

"With stuttering.." I chuckled and he blushed.

"Not!" He blushed even more.

"Well, I say that he shows off his strength. It's really useful, trust me." Cole informed me.

"Okay, since none of you give up, just use them both at the same time, okay Jay?" Zane said to me and I nodded. I was a bit tense though.. What am I, a puppet? They are controlling my life!

Okay, this was it.. My final blow. Nya was alone in her dorm working on something. The girls were out for a 'girls only night' but Nya didn't really want to come. She had to finish her invention. This was the perfect chance.

I am sitting alone in my room, yet I am too embarrased to write this.. Like someone is always stalking me..
I'm weird.. XD

I went inside and the door was already half open. I saw her working on her invention, which seemed to be a little robot. She was too focused and didn't see me.

"Hey, kitty. How are you doin'?" I said in a flirty tone. This is just too cringy.
She jumped a bit and went to punch me, when she suddenly stopped.

"Oh, sorry Jay. Didn't see it was you. I thought you were.. someone else.." She said and akwardly rubbed her neck.

"It's okay beautiful.Glad not to punched." I once again said and grabbed her by the waist. She was now blushing hard.

"Uh, are you feeling good today? You haven't really been acting like yourself." She said to me, a bit akwardly.

"As well as I'll ever been." I said and pulled her closer. She akwardly let go of my grip and went to pick up some heavy boxes.

"Let me just take these." I said and winked.

"Nah, it's okay. I've got this." She said to me but I grabbed the box anyway.
It was heavy indeed. I couldn't keep it up and fell straight to the floor along with the box.

"Are you okay?!" Nya said, worried now. Okay, just play it cool Jay. Be smooth..

"Of course I am okay. I just wanted to test you. Don't accept help from strangers. Cause they might pin you down." I mentally face-palmed myself on that one.

She took me and placed me on her bed. She then took a wet towel and put it on my forehead.

"Okay, let me just get your temperature. Because we both know what makes you go crazy. Coffee. So stay here and I'll bring some soup."
She really thought I was sick? Well, this isn't exactly me, but I have to keep it up.

"No, there is no need to. I just need you to hold me something." I said and got up from the bed.

"What is it?" She turned around and asked me.

"My hand."

"Uh-huh. You know you can't escape yourself from that one.." She said and slighy blushed.

"I know." I said and smirked. I never smirk. At least not in that way..

"Do you really want me to pin you down right now?" She said and blushed even more.

"But girls can't fight"

"Excuse me?! You know what, I am starting to wonder if my best friend is even real. Because what I saw today, was a four-faced charming freak!" She said and started to leave

Oh great.. What have I done..?! I am pretending to be someone else all throughout the day. I really messed up big time.

"No, wait. I-I" I said and grabbed her hand.

"I am really sory for today.. I just.. wanted to impress you.. Because you are so smart, sweet and beautiful. I am really sorry for everything. I acted like a jerk. And I really shouldn't have taken the others' advice.." I said to her, looking a bit sad.

"You really don't need to apologize, I should. I have just been so stupid not to realize this whole thing. And, you don't have to pretend to be someone else. Because you, are the best You. And by You, I mean my crazy, adorable, goofball friend who always manages to cheer me up." She said and hugged me. I started smiling like an idiot and returned the hug.

"S-so would you like to go on a d-date sometime?" I stuttered.

"I'd love to. But now, the girls are coming back and they're probably really drunk.." She said and gave me a kiss on the cheeks. I started blushing real hard, I was probably redder than Kai's shirt right now..

"Y-yeah. See you around." I said and went to leave. As I left, I saw someone running away from the door. Eight people, to be exact. I came into our dorm and looked around. I found Zane in the fridge, Pixal, Harumi and Kai behind the curtain, Cole and Lloyd under my bed and of course, Seliel and Skylor under the table. They all got out as soon as they saw me looking at them.

"You spied on me, didn't you?" I patted. They all let out an akward laugh, some rubbing their necks. Until I realized. That meant Kai probably saw that too! Oh no..

"Could you join me in the kitchen, Jay?" Kai said to me in a serious tone. I gulped and nodded as we headed inside the kitchen.

"You s-saw everything.. right?" I nervously said.

"I even caught it on tape. But that's not my point now." Oh no, I have to get ready for the scolding.

"You are allowed to date my sister. Today, I saw how you even switched personalities, just to impress her. And trust me, you have proven yourself more than enough to me. That of course doesn't mean I won't be overprotective.." He said in a very serious tone. I am so happy right now!
He allows me to date Nya?! More than worthy?! That's amazing!

"But no funny business!" He informed me strictly. I simply just nodded.

"Now. You may go to the others."

I went straight to the living room and started doing my little victory dance, as everyone laughed.

"You should probably tell Nya you aren't drunk. She is looking for you, you know.." I informed the girls.

"Oh my! We tottaly forgot! Quick! Before Nya gets kidnapped!" Pixal said and we all laughed at them. They quickly exited.

Well, at least I can sleep well tonight.. For now..

Wow, I mean, this is my favourite chapter of the whole book and I got writer's block, like, three times. I blame Morro once again.

QOTD: Finally, a question related to the chapter! If you could change Jay's persona, *sniff* which one would it be? I would really like to see Jaya with Kai's persona.. Though I don't think it would happen if that changed.. XD
