So, today school is closed because of strong wind. THANK YOU MA GHOST BOI!

Kai's POV

Yesterday was amazing.Not Nya being in the hospital, of course, but my date with Skylor.

*Flashback*

We went into my car and arrived at her dad's restaurant and ordered some noodles.

"Ya like 'em? I made them on my own for this." She said as she awkwardly rubbed her neck.

"Like them? No. Love them? Yes." I flashed a smile at her and she smiled back.

After a lot of chatting, we started arguing about who's gonna pay the bill. I of course ended up winning the debate. When we went to the skating park, we sat on a bench and chatted. I was still a bit worried about my sister though.

"Worried about Nya, huh? Don't worry. She's a big girl now. She can take care of herself." Skylor said to me. I guess she noticed that I was a bit worried.

"It's just that.. I feel guilty. I haven't been there for her in the past few years. She helped me with my scholarship and didn't get in herself. And what did I do? Not even call her? I don't want her dating or anything, because I still recognize her as my baby sister.." I said, trying to hold back my tears.

"Don't say that. I am sure that you are the best brother ever. You didn't call because you didn't want her to think that you are too overprotective. And I understand that you don't want her dating random guys. But, who knows? Maybe there will be a guy that cares so much for her, that you want him to date her. As for the scholarship, don't worry. She wanted to help you because she saw how excited you were back then." She said and kissed me. Uh, my first kiss, with my..crush and.. uh YES!

I got a text message saying that Nya is okay and she's returning home. Sky and I looked at the message and let out a huge sigh.We had been here for hours and decided to head home.

"I love you." She whispered to me.

"Me too." I whispered back and we held hands.

*Flashback End*

We were now at the school enterance and we all chatted there until classes started. Nya and Pixal came over to us and said:

"They're here.." They both said looking annoyed. Just as I thought that this day couldn't get any worse..

You see, today the fangirls went bananas on me, because I was now dating Skylor. They were chasing me all around school! But Skylor came in and stopped them. Using Jay as an excuse, as always..

Well, we did have to prepare for Day of the Departed, so we did it over the classes. We didn't really do a lesson,it was more like the whole class preparing lanterns. We all made lanterns and Cole made the best one. And he really did deserve it. It was amazing.

We decided to head back home and design our costumes. We decided to meet at Pixal's house, since she had some sewing materials we could use.
We decided that we should each surpise the others by buying a suitable accesory for their costume.
We each picked a random paper. Mine was Seliel. She told me she was gonna dress up as a unicorn so.. I made a unicorn horn. The hair accesory came with ears as well, pink ones in fact, so I think that she would like them.

We are at Pixal's house right now, each one of us sewing our costumes.

"Ow!" I heard Zane saying. I guess he pierced himself with the needle.

"ARE YOU OKAY?! OH NO! GET THE BANDAGES!" Pixal yelled in panic. We all laughed at her reaction, including Zane. He told her to relax and so she did, snapping out of it.

"So, uh Kai? You never told me, who was that 'friend' on the phone when we first talked?" Nya asked me and chuckled a bit. I could see Jay behind me giving me a signal not to say anything, while the other three said to do it. Well, I do support democracy, so..

"Would you like to ask red face over here?" Harumi said pointing at Jay.
Jay was standing there, not even breathing. Nya looked confused at first, but then realized it. She just laughed.

"Why are you laughing? I asked her. We all looked at her like she was a phycho.

" It's just that.. It's okay! Knowing Jay, it was probably some cruel joke to tease you! And you got me worried there for a second! I won't strangle him!" Nya said between laughs. Jay finally relaxed, breathing for air. The others looked at her and laughed as well.

"Besides, who would wanna date me?" She said letting out a small sigh, while laughing again.

"Why? I mean, you are amazing and smart and beautiful and.." Jay said, but I cut him off with a glare. Nya blushed a bit at this. Cole smirked at him and Seliel looked at him teasingly.

"Who wants to open up our accesories?!" Lloyd said. We all know that he is excited for tommorow just for the candy. But we all agreed.

Seliel ended up liking my gift. I got mine from Zane and it was a handmade mask for my wrestler costume. At first, we had a small argument with Cole about 'stealing his job', but he got over it. Skylor decided to dress up like a snake and I have to admit, her costume looks amazing with the fangs she got from Lloyd. Jay looks better with the eyepatch Seliel gave him and Nya's cat ears from Rumi are just too darn adorable.

We all got ready and even put on some make up for our costumes. Sky and Cole did Zane and Pixal's robot makeup and it looks so realistic.

Jay drew cat whiskers on Nya's face and she loved it. It was like Da Vinci, she said. (Anyone remember Da Vinci Jay?)

I did Skylor's snake make up and I should say that I did a really good job for someone who can't even tell lipstick from eyeliner apart. (Trust me Kai, I hate makeup.. I am worse than you 😂)

We arrived at the party, which was held at the gymnasium and I have to admit, it was really well-decorated.
We went in and were welcomed by Morro and his friends. This year the party was hosted by Mr. Wu's cousin, Yang. We danced for a bit, chatted and had fun.

Cole's POV

The party had cake! Woohoo! Me and Seliel were pretty much hanging by the food table, eating cake.

I spotted someone in the distance. Pixal and Zane just took a #twinning selfie to post on Chitter.

Kai of course wanted to join in and took a picture with Skylor.

I saw Nya chatting with Lloyd and.. I think it was Caleb, from the Bad Boys' school. He is actually pretty friendly, unlike the 'I don't take no as an answer' guy.

Jay was talking with Rumi and Lucas, also from the Bad Boys' school. It's like they are everywhere. They are like us, with different personalities..

Nya's POV

I was chatting with Caleb and Lloyd when I felt someone grab my hand. They pulled me back. It was pretty dark. I looked up and thought it was Jay, so I just flashed an akward smile.
But I realized that it's the person I hate the most.

"I guess I can officially call you kitty now.." James said. I got out of his grip and raised my eyebrows, with Caleb and Lloyd behind me.

"Dude, come on. We have changed now. You don't have to be like your old self.." Caleb said to his friend.

"I am just playing okay? Nothin' to worry about." Yeah right. Like I am gonna believe that.

"I think that I need to go now. See ya guys! And I hope not to see you later." I said, with a mad expression on my last sentence, as I headed towards Jay and the others.

"Oh, but you will." He said and smirked at me. Our faces were really close, our noses almost touching.

"Go to your Prince Charming now. Don't want him to be worried." He said and slowly left.

I looked pretty tense and the others noticed it, but didn't say anything. We just went back to the others, chatting on the way.

We were all chatting and laughing and I even told me about what happened earlier. Kai looked a bit mad after this, but decided not to do anything for now.

"H-hey Nya. W-wanna dance?" Jay nervously said to me. Why would I say no? I nodded and we went on to dance.

It was a bit akward at first, but once we got the moves, we nailed it. Some people even made a circle around us, watching us dancing. Cole was giving Jay a thumbs up, as Seliel was taking pictures. The others were saying "Go Jaya!" for some reason and I don't even know what it means. I have to say though, this was one of the best nights of my life.

Next Chapter, well.. JAYA. I think that I got a pretty movie cliché/original idea and it will be a facepalm for Jay in every sentence. At least for most of this. I may split it up into a 2-part chapter.

But okay, let's be serious now. Not that Jaya isn't serious.. The wind is getting stronger and I hope that this doesn't cause a tornado. DAMN YOU MORRO!
