The two cars were packed. We took food, clothes,  games and tent for the camp. As far as I know it was the camp set on the deserted side of a small mountain surrounded by river. It was famous for the camping sites alone. The three hour drive went by singing, sleeping and talking all kinds of non-sense.

We unloaded the things while the boys went to set up the tent. "I wish there are hot boys. I can't burn calories for commons, you know", Abby grunted lifting the blankets bag. "I thought you were seeing Dustin", I asked rising my eyebrows. What did I miss? . "There goes my mood. Can't you just go with the flow? ", she glowered and continued , "I don't exactly know what is going between us. So I am taking my chances". 

I didn't reply. How could she didn't know? They would've talked, right? Whatever I was wasting brain cells. We dragged the six mass of essentials to the tent. Several tent were set up a feet distance from one another. They even took time to decorate them beautifully. Lights and campfire made them more beautiful. The early moon reflecting from the waters at a distance was straight out of a painting.

Luke was setting up the fire while Matt was going in and out of the tent. We dropped the baggage near the tent, unpacked all the blankets, settling it inside the tent. Luke's friends and classmates poured in to check out on him and Abby.  I was deliberately avoiding any attention to me. All gathered around one large campfire along the river. Everyone was busy talking even I find two interesting characters, Mojo and Nick. While everyone were busy setting up the tent, they were dancing happily.

Later, I found they were Luke's classmates. All I said was a 'Hi' and we were talking about how a girl dumped Nick. It seemed the girl royally dumped him in front of his friends for not spending time with her. The irony was she called him names and returned to her car, when she was about to open the car a truck splashed all the water over her, only to turn her blue dress to brown. Nick was caught off guard and didn't know whether to laugh or feel sorry, while his friends were dying from laughter. Karma.

Everyone's attention turned towards the fancy cars now entering the site. One glance and I knew I wasn't gonna left alone. Abby was looking at me wide eyes and turned towards the incredibly handsome guys getting off their guys. They were sins. They even made the path into a runaway. I could see insects rushing into the open mouths. Their looks didn't even spare the boys. 

Connor was wearing a grey T-shirt with a jeans, Dustin was wearing sweatshirt with a shorts, Axel was wearing a 'I know I'm hot' shirt with a block shorts and his pink socks was calling attention. I stifled my laugh looking at those socks. Then there came Ryder, all black. Shirt was hugging him for life, it was absurd but he was wearing sunglasses. The moment he slicked his hair back my heart skipped a beat.

I quickly regained myself and turned around. The boys casually sat after a few seats right to us. I noticed Abby was mumbling something. I elbowed narrowing my eyes. She just directed her towards Dustin. Dustin seemed like flirting with the girl next to him. The girl might be in a hotshort list or something, while I was being burnt by Abby wrath. 

"Slow down. I'll get tan this side", I said fanning my face. She laughed, "It shouldn't affect me. Hot guys attract chicks. I am not his girlfriend", she said sternly. But there was a disappointment. "I think you're right", I side earning a confused look from her. "You shouldn't waste your chance. You are not in a relationship. You can talk and flirt with anyone you want. You know what, I'll back you up", I said getting up from the seat bringing her with me. 

A few head turned towards us but continued afterwards. I took her to Nick and Mojo who were with Luke and Matt. "You guys came here", Nick said with a smirk. "And why is it surprising?",  I asked mocking. "You know girls go after guys like them. The hot ones", Mojo said pointing towards the campfire. "Well you should know, I am too hot for them", Abby said with a smirk.

"I just called dibs on you", Nick said smugly. "We coming in or what?", I asked still standing in front of their tent. We all went inside the tent. They were pretty cozy but too small for 6 to fit in. Nick and Matt sat outside facing us. "You guys know how to build a tent", Abby said looking around. "I'll take that as a compliment", Luke commented. She grunted at him. 

Exquisite ghost story, that was we all decided to play. All 20 of us sat around the fire, a piece of paper was passed to write a sentence you thought would be scary. People passed around but came out as ghost having a good sex with a blind girl in the forest. The next game was Murder in the dark, in which a bowl with papers was passed to everyone. Every paper had a start except a D for detective and M for murderer. If murderer makes eye contacts and winks the victim has to die dramatically and the detective has to find the murdered before all victims die. 

I peeked through my paper and saw a star. I looked around, so did everyone except Ryder with ' What am I doing here?' look. Connor was smiling at me which I returned. I was relieved that  he didn't come to me dragging any attention towards me. Girls could be really scary when the guy they like was blatantly flirting with other girl. For example, Abby who was burning the girl with her eyes who Dustin was talking to.

My train of thoughts were cut when a girl dramatically landed. Suddenly, my interest perked up. I was supposed to look at everyone and everyone did the same. People died continuously making others laugh with their phenomenal performance. Ten were remaining and the detective guy clearly had no idea who it was. That was when I noticed, Ryder was smirking and winked. 

He killed everyone except his friends, Mojo and me. What the hell was the detective doing? He killed the victim next to him and he couldn't see him?. That's when Ryder's head turned towards us. "Mojo, I wanna say something?", I mumbled to him looking at Ryder. "What is it?", he asked the same moment Ryder made eye contact with me. "It's Ryder", he winked and I fell to the ground. Ryder won the game.
