CHAPTER SIXTY-FIVE: NAMING

You, Five and the others all arrive at a nearby Japanese restaurant after deciding to send some time together and discuss what had happen back at the washing shop.

"What I'd like to know is how the daughter of some random dry cleaner end ups with a jar of Marigold in the trunk of her car" Five said as he was holding the jar in his hands.

"How do we know that's not just a jar of glow stick juice?" Diego asked "Why don't you take a sip and find out, tough guy?" Ben sent him a sarcastically smirked "I will if you will" Diego said "Don't even think about it" Lila said.

"Okay, for the sake of discussion, let's say this is legit" Five put the jar on the table in front of him "Does anyone here actually want their powers back?" he asked "No, siree, Bob" Klaus said "Yeah" Ben lifted his hand.

"For the first time in my life, I'm sober. And...happy. But most importantly, 100% poltergeist-free" Klaus said.

Then the Chef enter the room and Five grab the jar before putting it in the box by the floor.

"Free? You rarely leave the house. And when you do, you're wearing surgical gloves in public " Allison said "Yeah, well, at least I'm in control" Klaus said.

"Showtime" the chef said before showing his moves with the object.

"Look at this chump" Diego leaned his head closer to Lila "Angele's wrong" he said and Lila glanced at him "Sloppy form" he said.

You and the others cheered when the chef was done showing his moves.

"Good job sir" you said "Nice" Five said as the two was clapping.

"He is so good" Luther clap.

"Look, guys, it's hard no for me too. I've got a bar to run, friends. Like, a real life" Viktor said "You're all nuts, all right?" Ben asked and they looked at him "We should be mainlining this shit right now" he glanced at the others before looking at Luther.

"Look, come on, big guy. I know you want it" he said "Wait! I mean, that's though one" Luther said "Come on. You don't need that, Luther. Your life is fantastic" Klaus said as he was cleaning his teeth with some tooth string.

"I don't know about fantastic, but you know, I'm...I'm managing" Luther said "Is that where the bar is set these days?" Ben asked and Luther looked at him "Managing?" Ben asked annoying.

"I'll do whatever the group decides. How's that?" Luther asked "Yeah, I'm with Luther. Majority rules" Diego said "Yeah, right" Luther said.

"Well, since I'm not part of this marigold thing and even so if I was, and had the chance in getting powers, I wouldn't get it" you said "Well, I'm fine without powers, I have everything I need" Five glanced at you who glanced at him with a smile while Klaus looked at Allison "You're not actually considering this, are you?" Klaus gagging as the sound of teppanyaki flame whooshes was heard.

Ben then glanced down at the box before he pick up the jar of Marigold and put it in his pocket without anyone notices it.

"No" Allison said haltingly "No, my life is great. I have everything I need" she took a sip of her small cup.

"Yup. Me too" Lila said "Same" Klaus said.

"All right, then. Motion fails. We don't drink the mystery juice. So we don't get our powers back" Five said "Thank God!" Klaus let out a relieved sigh.

"I tried. You're all morons" Ben got up before walking away.

"Hey! Where are you going?" Luther asked "To take a piss! Is that okay, Luther?" Ben asked annoying "Or do you need to run that by my parole officer too?" he asked before walking away.

"Oh shit! I was supposed to call him at 6:00!" Luther said and you all continue watching the chef entertain you.

He did something with a figure which made Lila laugh "Is that what I think it is?" Luther pointed at the figure "Yeah, it is!" Viktor nodded "That's disgusting" Luther lowered his hand.

"All right. I gotta hit the road" Viktor said "No, so soon?" Klaus said "Come on Vik! Stay a bit longer!" Luther said "No wait! Stay, man!" Diego said "It's just such a long drive. So, yeah" Viktor said.

"I should go too. I've got an audition tomorrow" Allison said "Like a big, important audition, and we have to boot camp the lines!" Klaus said and Allison gave him a small slap on the chest as Lila looked at her wrist watch.

"You've gotta drive the kids to the dentist at 7:00 am" she said and Diego let out a stilted laughter "Why you gotta make it so early again?" Diego asked as he took a sip of his beer "Because they have school at 8:00" Lila said.

Five then looked at his wrist watch "We also have to leave, we have an appointment at the gynecologist" he looked at you and you nodded "Is everything okay?" Klaus asked "Yeah, it's just that weekly examination" you said "They just need to see if everything is still okay with the baby" Five said "I still can't believe that you two are having a baby" Klaus smiled.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Hey! Where's everyone going?" Ben asked as he came back to see that you and the others all have gotten up and was getting ready to leave.

"We haven't even gotten to the steak yet!" Ben said "Party's over" Viktor said as a waiter enter with some shots. "No! No!" Ben shook his head "Okay. One last shot, on me" he said as the waiter put the shots on the table before leaving.

"For old time's sake" Ben glanced at them "Please!" he said before he looked at Klaus "Klaus!" he said "No!" Ben said "Ignore him!" Luther said "Come on. He doesn't drink" Five said "He is sober, he don't drink, so stop forcing him" you said.

Both you and Five cared for Klaus very much. Klaus was like the complete opposite of Five, but those two seem close.

"Sake doesn't count" Klaus said as he took off his mask "Exactly" Ben said "It doesn't?" Luther asked and Ben grab a shot before he stretched the shot towards Klaus.

"Hey. Dude's sober" Diego said "Thank you" Ben said as Klaus grab the shot.

"Okay, then" Ben said as everyone except you grab a shot which cause Ben to look at you "I'm pregnant, so I will just have my water" you said "Fine" Ben sighed "Here's to the nonexistent Umbrella Academy!" Ben glanced at them with a smile "Kanpai!" he lifted his shot "Kanpai!" you and the others said before taken a sip.

"Thank you!" you put your glass down as the others did the same.

Five grab the box before you and him left with others, except Ben who sat back down "Hey! You comin'?" Luther asked "I'm gonna savor my last minutes of freedom and finish this shrimp, if you don't mind" Ben said and Luther cleaned his throat "What about curfew?" Luther asked "Relax Captain Tight-ass. I'll meet you back at your shithole later" Ben said "Captain Tight-ass?" Luther asked before walking away.

When Luther left Ben pulled up the jar of Marigold, but it was not filled up anymore. More than half of the jar was empty.

Ben opened the jar before pouring some of the marigold down in his shot.

"See ya on the other side, fuckfaces" he smiled before taken a sip.

Both you and Five arrived at the gynecologist's appointment

You and Five walked into the building with your fingers interlocked, together.

"Name?" the lady at the front desk ask "Y/n Gussman" you smiled.

The lady smiled before looking through some files in her drawer "Room 20. The gynecologist will call you in a minute" she said, smiling at both you and Five.

You then both sat down next to each other

"Aren't you excited?" you asked as you swung your hands together while Five smiled "Of course I'm excited" he said.

Five was tapping his leg like he does when he's nervous.

You started to see how excited and nervous Five was. His right leg was bouncing up and down all the time, even when you sat and waited for the gynecologist.

With a smile, you put a hand on Five's leg "Calm down, Honey. You're making me nervous as well" you said "Sorry" he mumbled and then grabbed your hand, a little sigh escaping his mouth "It's just...it's just I get so nervous every time I get to see our baby and I'm just...nervous" he tired to explain and you could totally understand him.

Just when you pressed a little kiss on his cheek, you got called into the examination room.

You pulled Five along the halls, looking for the room.

You both walked into room 20 as you were both greeted by the gynecologist. "Hello, Y/n, Five" she nodded at the both of you. You smiled in respons.

"Go ahead and lay down for me" she said as she grabbed the transducer thingy.

After you have undress yourself, unfolding the paper gown and draping it over yourself. The gynecologist came back to the room and squirting the gel onto the long probe as you were laying back with your feet up.

"Alright, so we are going to do what is called a transvaginal ultrasound. It will give up the best picture seeing as you aren't far along. So this is going to go up into the vagina so we can get the uterus" she explain and you nodded, nervousness flooding your body.

"Will that hurt her?" Five asked "No it's just to see the baby" she said.

Five was standing by your head, holding your hand tightly.

Once she switched on the monitor, you weren't afraid anymore. You were about to see yours and Five's baby again.

"Okay this might be a little cold, and you're going to feel some pressure" the gynecologist said before inserting the probe.

You squeezed Five's hand and shut your eyes at the uncomfortable feeling, but your eyes opened when you heard a heartbeat come from the speakers.

"Okay, so you see this dark pouch right here? That's your uterus" the gynecologist pointed to the screen, showing you and Five what was on the black and white picture.

"Where is the baby?" you asked "Sometimes they like to hide and you're not that far along so the baby is still very tiny" she said before looking at the screen again.

"And right here, this little white blip, that's your baby" she pointed again and you looked over at Five who was staring up the screen in awe.

Five was staring at the monitor of the ultrasound, his eyes huge, his mouth open a bit and there was an expression on his face that made you smile. He looked amazed, happy and overwhelmed. You slightly squeezed his hand.

The baby looked like a little Jellybean.

"And you see this little flashing dot? That's the heartbeat" she continued.

Your eyes looked at the screen. The little flash of your baby's heartbeat was going so fast.

"Look like we're gonna get to hear the heartbeat again, Have a listen" she put a button and suddenly you and Five could hear a tiny heartbeat which cause you to smile, knowing that it was your little baby's heartbeat. It sound louder and bigger but your baby has also grown.

"Oh, my God. That's our baby" he said before he kissed your head

"It's our baby, Love" Five chuckled, happiness spread across his face as he leaned forward and pulled your hand up to his lips, kissing it softly.

"It's beautiful" he smiled.

"Everything looks normal and fine" she said and you both smiled "This is the best sound ever" you said "I know, I wanna listen to it all day" Five said "We can have this recorded for you too, if you like" she said and you both nodded.

"So it's are fine?" you asked "Sound as a bell, cooking nicely" she said and you smiled

"By the size, I'd say you are around almost eight weeks. You are only a week from enter your third month into the pregnancy" she said "So is everything okay?" you asked "Yes. The baby both sound and looks very healthy. I'm going to print you out a picture with the measurements and it will produce a semi accurate due date for you" she said as she watch how you and Five fell completely in love with the little Jellybean that was show on the picture.

"I've recorded that for you two. You can watch that for a moment" she got up before leaving while you and Five stare at the screen. Watching your little bundle moving around. Even so I couldn't feel anything yet, you could see that everything was alright.

"It look like a little jellybean" Five smiled "Well it look a bit like you, don't you think" you said with a smile and he chuckled "You know, I think it's a boy" Five said "You do?" you asked and he nodded "I know it's too early to see it on a ultra sound, but I think it's a boy" he said "Well, I think it look like a girl" you said "No. Look at that little spot right here" Five pointed on a spot by the monitor

"Right here, that little thing right there, proof that it's a boy" he said "You can't know that" you said with a smile.

"It is too early to know the gender, wait a few months and you will know" the gynecologist said as she enter the room again.

You and Five couldn't believe it, you had a princess or prince in your stomach that will soon be human like you. You both couldn't wait. You couldn't wait till the baby is born. Till you're  holding him or her in your arms, till it take its first steps, say its first words. You both couldn't wait to meet the baby that the two of you have conceive together.

The baby was so small, so tiny. It was the same size of an kidney beans. But you already love it with all your hearts.

"I'm beyond happy that I'm doing this with you, there is no one else I wanted to get married to, and start a family with than you" he said "Me too. There is no one else I want to get married to and start a family with than you, therefore I'm beyond happy that I'm doing this with you" you smiled as you looked at each other before sharing a kiss and looked back at the screen.

This was the best things you have ever seeing.

Five squeezed gently your hand who squeezed it back gently before he kissed your head as you both could hear the heartbeat of your baby.

You couldn't be happier as you were at this moment.

The gynecologist gave you a paper to wipe away the gel and then turned around to the ultrasound "Would you like the picture?" she asked "Would we? Is that a question seriously? Of course we want!" Five said and you laughed.

"I'm sorry, he's a bit nervous" you apologized but the gynecologist waved aside, a smirk on her lips.

"That's normal, literally every man who's becoming a father acts that way, sometimes mothers do too" she handed the printed picture to Five and he stared at it once again. Then leaned over and kissed you "I love you, Darling, so much" he said.

Even so he tried his best not to show it, you could see the tears in his eyes.

Later that evening Five walked into the extra bedroom in the apartment that you and Five was planning in using it to the nursery. Five had already remove some of the things out of the room, to get ready for the nursery.

He spotted you sitting in the bright blue rocking in the chair "I knew I'd find you here" he said "Hey Honey" you said "Hey" he said as he enter the room "Mind if I join you?" he asked "Of course, just talking to the baby" you said.

"The baby is not even here yet" he said "I know but I think the baby can hear us. And I want the baby to know my voice" you said.

"Then I must certainly join you" he sat in front of you and places his hand on your belly, you couldn't even see your baby bump yet.

"Hey little one. How are you? I just want to let you know that you are already loved. And your mom looks hot pregnant" you chuckled.

"But really we love you. Can't wait to meet you. Your mom think you are a girl, I think you are a boy. But as long as you are strong and healthy. Then we don't care. Thank you for picking me as your dad" he smiled "You are going to be a great dad" you said "You are going to be a great mom" he looked at you, giving you that lovely look he only gave you.

You still couldn't believe that you had falling so hard for this man. You didn't like him at all when you first met, now you can't imagine your life without him. 

Five couldn't believe that he had fallen for this amazing woman. When he first met you, he didn't wanted to get too attached to you and he didn't believe that you would fall for him. He actually never thought he would fall for anyone, but when he met you. And now he can't imagine his life without you. You and him are getting married next year, and you are now expecting a child together. Both your lives was going so amazing now, and nothing was going to destroy it. You are everything Five didn't deserve but had anyway.

Five was going to make sure that his child would have a different childhood from his. He promise to never let his kid have a childhood like his, so he will made the kid have the best one possible.

Five was raised roughly, not treated kindly. Constant training and always competin. So when yours and his child is born, he promise to not let the child grow up like he did. He will treat them with love and affection, teaching them they're loved equally, no matter what. Spending lovely time with them, bonding, taken them to fun experiences, just to see them smile and have a good life was more than enough for Five.

"We still need to think of names" you said "I know" he nodded.

"You know I was thinking about names?" you looked at him "I know that we don't know the gender, but I have being thinking about a name" he said "What is the name?" you asked "I have the perfect name if it a boy" he said before taken a deep breath.

"Elliott" he looked at you and your eyes widened "Elliott? After my dad" you asked and he nodded "Why not, I think naming our child after him is a good way to honor him, but it's only if it a boy" he said and you smiled as a single tear fell from your eyes "I love that name" you smiled.

"But only if it a boy" he said "Well, I have the perfect name if it is a girl" you said "What?" he asked "Kira" you said "I love that name" he nodded "Then it's settle, Elliott if it is a boy, and Kira if it a girl" you said and he nodded.    

"I want our baby to have your eyes" you said "I want it to have your smile and kindness" he smiled.

"I can't wait to meet our child" you said "Me either, and you are going to be an amazing mom" he looked at you "And you are going to be an amazing dad, I know it" you both smiled.

"You know what, I'm kinda excited now" he smiled "I've always wanted to have a family with you and now it's actually happening" he said "Really? I know that it wasn't planned, but we never talk about it and we both know that we didn't wanted kids for a while, but I'm happy too" you said.

"I know, and all great things aren't planned...think of it as a happy surprise, like it was meant to be, it was our time..." he smiled "Half of you, and half of me" you nodded.

"Exactly...and regardless of the fact of how this baby was made, it was made because we love each other" he slid his hand down placed his hand on your stomach again "And this proves it" he said.

You held his hand that held your stomach.

"You're happy?" you asked "Yes, I'm so happy I could scream to the world that I'm going to be a dad, and the love of my life is having our first child" he said which caused you to smile so big.

"I'm gonna have to tell you to stop saying such sweet things because I don't want to sob here. I'm very emotional" you said and he smiled before kissing you.  

"Do you really think that the baby can hear us this early?" he asked as he pulled away "Why?" you asked "'Cause I want to know if I can take you to the bedroom right now, can it hear us?" he asked "I'm sure we will be good" you smiled "Good" he said before kissing you.

"Are you sure that this is good idea?" you asked "It's not like I can't get you more pregnant" he kissed your neck which 'cause you to chuckled "True" you said "Beside it's better we do it now before it start getting too big and we have to wait till after" he said "And why is that?" you asked "'Cause if we do it while your bump is big. I might hurt you or the baby" he said "I don't think you can that" you said "Still not gonna risk it. Now let us have a moment" he pressed his lips against yours before he lifted you up and you wrapped your legs around his waistline.

"Little one, just so you know, the sound mommy going to make will be happy scream" he said  "Oh my god, Five" you laugh smiled as he carried you into your bedroom.

"Hold on to your head little one this is going to be a crazy wild" he said as he closed the bedroom door with his foot.
