CHAPTER SIXTY-ONE: NEW UNIVERSE

The sound of a bell was heard as an elevator door opened before the family stepped out of the elevator, notching that it was evening.

They looked around to see that they were in some kind of park as police sirens wailing and the sound of traffic was heard in the distant.

"Cool" Lila said with a laugh as they were all looking around.

Five walked over to a small statute standing in the middle of the park that was formed as Reginald's head.

Viktor turned around to see Luther walking out of the elevator "Luther?" Viktor asked in shock while smiling "Oh shit. You can see me?" Luther asked "Yes!" Viktor said "I'm alive? I'm alive" Luther said "Yes" Viktor said as he jumped into his arms and Luther hugged him as he lifted him up.

Five stared in shock to see his brother now alive before he looked at the elevator, hoping that you would step out.

"Luther's alive!" Klaus said as he clapped "Oh my God" Lila said as Luther put Viktor down and they pulled away. "Wait. That's not all, big guy" Viktor said as he noticed that he was no longer huge "Huh?" Luther asked confused until he looked down at himself to see that he was his normal size.

"Whoa! Oh shit! My body!" he said before he looked at his arms to see that they don't look like monkey arms anymore, instead they were normal "I look amazing" he said "Luther's all svelte now" Klaus said "Wait. I gotta show Sloane" Luther said and Five raised his left arm up and his eyes widened "I got my arm back" he said as he look at his left arm in confusion while he also noticed that the wrist watch you gave him was back on his left wrist again.

"This is so cool. W-Wait. Where's Sloane?" Luther asked as he was looking around "Oh, she was, uh...She was right behind me--" Klaus said "When Allison hit the bloody button" Lila said "She's gone too" Diego said while Five glance at the elevator hoping that his girlfriend would step out.

Then suddenly the elevator dinged opened causing Five and the others to looked at the elevator and their eyes widened when they saw who stepped out of it.

"Y/n" Klaus said and you looked at him before you smiled while walking over to him.

"Thank God" he said as he wrapped his arms around you.

"I thought you were dead" he said "Me too" you said as the two of you pulled away.

You looked at Luther with a smile before you wrapped your arms around him "I'm so sorry for not helping you" you sob "It's okay. I'm just glad you're alright" Luther said and you smiled.

The two of you pulled away before you hugged Diego, Viktor and then Lila.

You pulled away from Lila before you looked over at Five with a smile who was smiling right back.

The two of you rushed towards each other. His arms were shaking around you, yet firm like he was never letting go.

Five wrapped his arms around you and you both smiled while he spun you around.

He then put you down before you pulled away to look at each other. He pressed his lips against yours.

You pulled away and reached your hands to grip onto his blazer, pulling him closer before hugging and Five breath out in relief.

He hugged you as if he never tought he'd see you again. He just cried out your name over and over again in a small whispered almost if he believe if he spoke too loud you would disappear.

You held him too, joining his sobs. You had both been broken by each other, not on purpose, never on purpose, but your small words and tears had begun to heal whatever it was that broke you both.

Then you shoved your face onto his chest, knowing you could not stop yourself from ugly crying anymore. You sobbed on him, letting out loud whimpers as his hands caressed your back and hair fondly and devotedly. You could hear his heartbeat in your ear, easing you from all worry, making you feel like it was all worth it. But you needed him close just to be sure.

Your hands slid to his back as you caressed him as well. He was so tense, his muscles felt like stones under your touch. Although your voice was definitely shaky, you wanted to speak to him. 

He pulled back, only to capture your lips with his.

The last time the two of you kissed was moment before you died and you have both missed the taste of your lips.

Your hands went to his hair and ran a hand through it, your fingers entwining with the soft pieces. His hands went to your back and your neck, pulling you incredibly closer than before. The two of you are forever in that moment.

What you and Five had was incomparable to any connection made by friends, foes, lovers and companions. You were the best lovers in any time.

If your castle crumbled overnight, you and Five would rebuilt every time your arrival.

The world faded away, every star in the sky hid away, the only thing left was the two souls that had been made to be together.

You and Five were finally together again.

The two of pulled away to look at each other and he stroke a piece of your hair away from your face.

If you didn't know Five so much, you wouldn't have notice his blush nor would you have notice that the end of his ears turned red although they were covered by his black hair.

"I love you" he said. He was always a man of few words, expression more in actions than words ever could. He loved you dearly. And if he could bring himself to, he would go back in time and give you what you wanted. But he couldn't. He had believe you were dead once, hold your dying body in his arms, watch you die and he refused it to happen again. It was love that drove him to move the clock of time forward and backwards in order to please you. It was love that had him plastered on the word 'no'. He wouldn't do it. And it was because of love.

He want to grow old with you. He would move to ocean or countryside. He would support you through your career you choose. He would watch you sleep on slow morning and woke up in the middle of the night. Your lives was there now. 

Five felt happiness running through his body, standing in front of you, looking at you, touching you, making him feel whole and happy again, he had missed you so much and you have missed him too.

Five would make sure that nothing would ever happen to you again.

You looked into each other's eyes. You were just as happy to be with him again as he was.

Because if there was one thing he would not do again it would be to lose so much of life. He was never going to lose you again.

"I love you, more than you know" you said before you pressed your forehead against each other.

You and Five, have found each other again, even after everything that had happened. Your love and connection had just proof that nothing could keep you apart and no matter what, you would always find a way back to each other. Your strong bond between the two of you would never get destroyed, no matter what.

"I am...sorry" he whispered at you, hiccuping in between the words. His hands grip became tighter.

"No, don't say that. I don't want to hear that" his brows furrowed and you lifted your head just to look at him, not breaking your hug. You did not really care if you looked like a mess.

"Why?..I am sorr-- " "Say anything else but that---" your expression seemed pained, yet relieved. His eyes waterline was piling up with tears too, but contrary to you, they never spilled "I love you" it was all you could really think of. It was the simple and pure truth.

He then locked his lips with yours. Your eyes widened in utter shock, but you closed your eyes kissing him back before hugging him.

Five pulled away and started affectionately into your eyes. You stared back at him, but your attention was drawn more to his touch against your face. He was holding your face in such a firm yet delicate way that it felt like you were glass. He was scared that if he let go of you, you would disappear or break.

You were finally back into your lover's arms. The arms of Five's.

You broke down into tears and hugged him tightly, almost as if you were clinging to him. Five gave you a firm embrace in return.

"I love you" he whispered at you, before closing the last bit of distance between you both with a delicate kiss. You wish you could spend forever in that exact moment but you were interrupted by a whistle.

"You two, get a room" Lila said. 

"You know, I don't know about you guys, but I have not felt this good in years" Klaus said as Five and you walked around the statue in the middle of the park, confused look on his face as he looked at the city that laid outside of the park.

You looked at the statue "That is the day you guys were born" you looked at Five.

"Does anyone know where the hell we are?" Ben asked a little aggressive.

"The hotel. Or at least this is where it used to be" Lila said "I think the old man did" Five said as you and him turned to the family "I think he reset the universe" Five said.

Diego took his glove off to see that he had gotten his fingers back "You got your fingers back" Lila said and she let out a laugh as she grabbed his hand before grazing her thumb against his fingers.

"Sloane? Sloane!" Luther called out as he was looking around, trying to spot her.

"Hey" Luther said as he walked over to Five "I don't care about any resets, all right? I want my wife back. You got your woman back, but where is mine. Where is she, Five?" Luther asked as he grabbed Five's collar with his right hand "I'm glad you're alive, but please take your hand off me" Five said but Luther grabbed the other side of Five's blazer "Not until you give me an answer" he said "Luther, let him go" you said "You still have your lover, but where is mine?" Luther asked.

"Okay, screw this" Five said before jolted his body to move forward in order to blink away, but nothing happen and Five's eyes widened before he looked around "Something's wrong" he said as he stared at his family.

"That's right. You're about to get your ass kicked" Luther said "Yeah, kick his ass" Diego said "No, you moron. My power. I can't blink" Five said as he looked at Luther "Yeah, right" Diego said as he pulled one of his knife out while Luther let go of Five.

Diego tried to spun the knife around his fingers, like he always do, but instead they watched it as it fell out of his hand before dropping to the ground, meaning that he didn't had his powers either "That's not good" he said.

Viktor lifted his hands and he tried to used his powers but nothing happen. Ben also tried to use his powers but nothing happen.

Klaus held his hand out in front of himself and you could see that the tattoos on the palm of his hands was gone.

"Okay...Come on. Alakazam...ghosties" Klaus said while he was twisting his hand around as he was trying to use his powers to conjure the dead, nothing happen "This means I'm mortal again? Aw man!" he said

"His tattoos are removed" you said and Five pulled up his sleeves as he had noticed that Klaus didn't had his tattoos anymore.

Five pulled down his left sleeve after he have noticed that Klaus didn't had any of his tattoos, neither the 'Goodbye' and Hallo' tattoos on his palms or his umbrella tattoo on his left wrist.

He looked at his left wrist to see that it was bare, meaning that his umbrella tattoo was gone too.

"My tattoo is gone too" he said and you pulled up your sleeve on your left shoulder to noticed that you still had your tattoo.  

"Wait, wait, wait. How do we get them back, you idiots?" Ben asked aggressive "Shit" Klaus said.

"I gotta...I gotta go find my wife" Luther said as he started walking away "No! Luther, you can't go. You were dead five minutes ago. You're fragile! " Klaus shouted after him before he turned to the others "I gotta go after him" he said before he followed after Luther "No. Wa--Klaus, wait" Diego said as Klaus walked after Luther "Come on guys, can't you just stay for a little while" you said.

"I'm out, bitches" Ben said before he turned around and started walking away "Come on. We should stick together and figure this out" Viktor said "What are we supposed to do?" Diego asked him and Lila looked up at Diego "Live our lives?" she said and Diego grabbed her hand before he lead her out of the park leaving you, Five and Viktor behind as the three of you glanced at each other.

Five was flabbergasted. After everything that has happened, he watched his family choose to leave him. None of them asking if he wanted to come with them.

But he was happy that he still had you.

"So what now?" you asked and Five grabbed your hand "I think I want to live that life we talk about living. A happy, beautiful, long and wonderful life with you" he said and you smiled "I would love that" you said and you smiled to each other.

I don't deserve a chance like this

 "Ready to live our life?" you asked and he smiled "Lead the way" he said before the two of you looked at Viktor "I'm sorry Vik" you said "It's okay. You two deserves to live your life. So enjoy it. See you around" Viktor said and the two of you smiled before Five lead you out of the park.

"You okay?" you asked Five as you both left the park "No, it's just after everything, the others just left me behind" Five said and the two of you stopped before you moved to stand in front of him "It's like other than you and Klaus, the others have never appreciate everything I sacrificed for them. They never understood that every drop of blood that my hands spilled was for them" he said.

"Hey" you said as you grabbed his hands "It's not your fault that they are so selfish and stubborn to see all the things you have done for them" you said before you put your hands to his face "You still have me and I'm not going anywhere. I promise. I'm not going to leave you, ever" you said and he smiled "And that's all I need. As long as I have you. I'm happy" he said and you smiled before you leaned closer to him, pressing your lips against his.

You pulled away to look at each other "My next mission is to spend the rest of my life with, loving you and that's what I will do" he said and you smiled "You can finally retire" you said "Yeah" he nodded.

"I almost forgot" he pulled up something from his pocket before he opened his palm on his left hand to reveal your promise ring.

You smiled as he slid it back on your finger "I really thought I would never see you again" a quiet sob came from him as a single tear rolled down from his eyes.

"I thought I had lost you" he sob "I lost you that moment. I lost your voice, your loving laugh, smile and giggled, I lost your eyes. I lost your wonderful mind that I have yet to figure out. And most of all. I lost you" he shook his head lightly.

"Hey" you put his face in your hands "I'm here okay, I came back, and everything is alright, we're both alive and together, that is what count. And you're not going to lose me again" you said "Promise?" he asked "I promise" you said before you gave him a kiss.

You were happy, you could now live the rest of your lives with the love of your live, your boyfriend and future husband, Five. Whatever the furture may bring, you were ready.

Five was happy too, of course he had to get use to not having his powers, but maybe this was a good thing, he could now retire and he could now try to live a life as a normal person, no doomsday, no end of the world, no killing and no apocalypse. He could now live the rest of his life with the love of his life, his girlfriend, Y/n, and whatever the future bring, he was ready.

"Let get out of here" you said and he smiled before he grabbed your hand again "So what shall we do first?"  he asked "Find a place to live in, and then we can start a new chapter in our lives" you said "And I will try to get use to live a normal life" he said "Don't worry, I will guide you" you both chuckled.

"What to do say to that the two of us, travel around the world, and live a normal life for once" he said "That sound like a wonderful plan" you said.

You and Five was now on your way to live your life together. You could now start a new chapter in your life, together and whatever the future may bring, you were going to face and handle it together, because you would stand by each other's side, no matter what and do things together.

"Your dad would have being proud you" he said and you smiled as the two of you continue to walk down the street.

Five was happened that he had you in the end. You were the guiding light out of the darkness. You are like the flame inside his heart, igniting his soul his passion and fire. You are like a song that he never forget, keeping him up at nights with the memory of your beauty. To be loved by you, is his greatest happiness on earth and he will treasure you forever.

You were happy that you had him in the end. To be loved by Five Hargreeves is your greatest happiness ever and you will tresure him forever.

But what you didn't noticed was they walk past some building owned by Sir Reginald Hargreeves.

And in one of the tall buildings stood Reginald Hargreeves alive and well. He was looking out from the tall building's window, watching the city below. He was looking down at the city when his wife Abigail walked up to him, joining his side.
