CHAPTER FIFTY: THE SECOND AND  LAST DANCE

You and others walked out of the elevator to see how beautiful the ballroom was made.

"Not sure this place is gonna be big enough" Klaus said "This better be an open bar" Allison said "Hey, come on. It's for Luther. Let's perk up" Lila said before she looked at you "Great decorating you did" she said "Thanks" you said.

"You did this?" Five asked and you nodded "Well done" Five said proud "Even so we're just a few. I tried to make it as beautiful as I can" you said "It's beautiful Y/n" Klaus said.

"But nothing is more beautiful than you" Five said before he kissed your cheek.

"You two are so cute. But try to turn it down just a little bit, it makes me want to gag" Lila said.

While waiting for the bride and groom, Five couldn't help but stare at you as you were chatting with Diego, Klaus and Lila.

Five didn't care about anything at the moment. His eyes had automatically and purposely blurred your surroundings to keep his attention solely on you.

"She looks so beautiful. I'm never gonna get tired admiring her, how did I get so lucky, to have someone as amazing and beautiful as her" Five said in his mind.

Looking at you, Five knew that he had made the right choice, you were the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.

The sound of a bell ding was heard and the elevator door opened before Luther and Viktor stepped out.

"I don't know. Normally, my tush looks good" Luther said to Viktor "Ah, I see you've gone for the oversized button-down. Original" Allison said to Viktor as she had her elbow leaned against the bar next to the elevator "You do realize there no paparazzi here, right?" Viktor said "What? Dang it" Allison said sarcastic while Luther stepped between them.

"Listen to me, you two. This is my day, all right? So if you two can juts get along for a couple of hours, you can consider that my wedding gift" Luther said to them "Well, he started it, so--" Allison said "You literally just started it" Viktor said "Literally?" Allison asked.

"Stop it Allison" you said and she looked at you "Think about that you are not the only one that have lost someone. Your grief is no excuse for behaving like this. So stop acting like a bitch, thinking you are the only one that have lost someone" you said.

"Thank you" Luther said as he looked at you "Of course, I don't want yours and Sloane's night to be ruin just because one person is an asshole" you said.

Then a bell ding and Lila gasp as they saw Sloane walking out of the elevator.

She was wearing a white dress and was holding a bouquet of flowers.

Luther and Sloane was captivated by one another, desiring to spend the rest of their life together.

"Let's get this over with before I die of cringe" Ben said, ruining the moment.

Everyone took their place outside on the veranda on the balcony where the ceremony would be held.

Luther was the first to walk down the aisle. Next was Lila as she was the bridesmaid.

You sat at the back at the alter with yours and Five's laced hands resting in your lap.

"Dearly beloved, we're gathered here today for a good time, not a long time, so let's have a good time, huh?" Klaus said as he was the one who officiates the ceremony.

"'Cause the sun can't shine every day. Can I get an amen?" Klaus said "Amen" the others said before cheering while Diego whistled.

"Luther, do you be taking this banging hottie to be your lady?" Klaus asked "I do" Luther said as he took Sloane's hand "Sloane, do you promise to love and cherish this big hairy bastard for the next 24 to 48 hours?" Klaus asked "I do" Sloane said "Give or take a day" Five said and Klaus shushed him "I'm gonna try" Sloane said.

"Well, then..." Klaus said before he wiped his eyes "I'm sorry" he said.

"I pronounce you married as shit! Viva la apocalypse!" he shouted and Sloane kissed Luther.

Luther wrapped his arms around her waist, kissing her back while he lifted her up in joy as you and the others was cheering while clapping.

Sloane and Luther were dancing slowly to the music in the ballroom, with their forehead rested against each other while fog filled the dance floor.

You and the others watched as the bridal couple were having their first dance as husband and wife.

We drove to Cali
And got drunk on the beach
Got a motel and
Built a fort out of sheets

Five turned his head to look at you who was looking at Luther and Sloane with a smile.

I finally found you
My missing puzzle piece
I'm complete

Luther and Sloane looked over at Klaus who pointed at them with a smile and the two smiled before they looked back at each other.

"This is officially worse than the apocalypse" Five said and you pushed a little bit to him with your shoulder "Shut up and enjoy it" you said and he nodded before he turned around to see a table with bottles of champagne "Ah, there we are" he said before he made his way to the table while Allison and Ben went over to one of the tables.

Diego and Lila grabbed each other's hands before walking out on the dance floor causing you to let out a smile.

Klaus then hooked his arm around your shoulders and pulled you out on the dance floor before the two of you started dancing.

Klaus's dance moves didn't match the song which caused you to laugh "That is not how you dance" you said with a smile. 

"Then we need help" Klaus said and he excused himself before he walked over to Five.

"Come on, tiny dancer. Dance with your girlfriend" Klaus said "I can't dance" Five said "Just do it" Klaus said and Five took a deep breath before he walked over to you.

You heard someone cleaning his throat next to you which cause you to look to the right to see Five.

"Shit, why am I nervous now? It's not like we haven't dance before. Come on Five, pull yourself together, you're a grown man. You have killed plenty of people. Why are you nervous to ask a beautiful girl out on a dance. Maybe because I suck at dancing" Five said inside his head.

"Do you wanna dance?" he asked as he stretched his arm towards you "May I have this dance?" he asked "Of course, I'd love to" you said before grabbing his hand.

You stepped onto the dance floor with Five and as you did that, he put his hands on your hips while you threw your arms around his neck.

Five caught your hand when you dropped them to his chest and he stepped to your side as he spun you around again.

He twirled you around, admiring your perfect body embraced by the shimmering dress before sliding his hand on your waist form behind, pressing your body tightly against his.

He whirled you around again and pull you back to him, your chest bumping into his while he look at you intensely.

You fell into his arms and he slid his hand to your back, claiming you as if you belonged to him.

You switched positions and put yourself behind him, hugging him from behind and wrapped your arms around his torso.

Five then turned to face you and placed his hands on your waist.

Looking at you, Five knew that he had made the right choice. There was no one else he wanted to spend the rest of his life with than his Love, Y/n Gussman.

The same went for you, you knew that you had made the right choice and that choice was Five, there was no one else she wanted to spend the rest of your life with than Five Hargreeves.

Five lifted his left hand while you lifted your right hand causing your fingers to locked together.

I was fine alone
But now I've found my home

"You know what is funny?" he asked "What?" you asked "I have always thinking myself as a terrible dancer" he said "You are not that bad, those three times now where we have dance together, you never screw it up. You are actually really good at it" you said and he chuckled.

"We both know we should've had more time. In my life, I-I have never said-that I've loved someone before. It's never come up and if I would tell one of my stupid siblings, they wouldn've made fun of me. You are actually the first and only one that I have said I love you to. We established that we had something special and I'm totally in love with you" he said and you smiled before you looked down, you felt tears swell in your eyes as you moved forwards into his chest to cry.

"I don't want to lose you" you whispered against his blazer "It's too soon" you said "I know" he said.

"I know we are different. I love you so much that it hurts, so much that it's painful to know I'm going to lose you, that we're going to lose all of this. And it might hurt now, but every other time you touched me or even looked at me, it don't hurt anymore. And it doesn't matter if we're different because our love is inevitable" you said and he smiled.

Five caught your hand when you dropped them to his chest and he stepped to your side as he spun you around again.

"I'm sorry, we didn't reach to get married" he said "It's okay, as long as we're together, that's enough for me" you said.

"I'm sorry that you couldn't get to live that life, it's because of me that---" "No" he looked at you "I don't think my life would have being better if I had stayed, so I don't regret it" you said.  

"You know even if the word wasn't ending, I would still never leave your side, I would still love you, I would still be with you. I would still have a life and a future with you and love you for the rest of my life. I love you, not only for what you are, but for what I am when I'm with you. You are the greatest gift, I could ever have. There is no way I can make it without you. Without you I'm nothing, with you I'm something, together we're everything. You are the one person that never fails to put a smile on my face, no matter how bad my day has being. You are the reason I'm laughing and smiling. You are the reason I fall asleep with a smile on my face. You are my motivation to do things. You are my reason to never lose hope or give up. You are my reason to fight and to live. I love you so much" he said and a smile spread across your face, showing your adorable dimples. You were everything Five could ever dream of. Your smile would light up even the darkest nights and your admirable laugh mesmerized everyone in the room.

"Luther and Sloane is married. What about us?" Five asked "We can we together forever" you said and Five looked at you "That's a good thing" he said as you looked at each other "I'm glad that I met you, 'cause I could never imagine being in a world where you're not the one I grow old with" he said and you smiled "I try to think of what my life would be like without you. What I'd be like or what I'd do with my days. It's so hard because so much of who I'm now is due to you. You've challenged me, inspired me, encouraged me, and supported me. And it's because of all of this that I'm the person I'm today. Everything has been better since we met. Whenever I think about my life, I realize that I wouldn't be where I am today without you. Your love has lifted me up, even in my darkest moments, and I feel so incredibly lucky to have you by my side. Thank you for loving me unconditionally" he said as the two of you stared into each other's eyes.

Since you came into my life, it has felt so much more enjoyable because I get to spent it with you by my side through it all. Meeting you was the best moment in my life. I never knew how much a single person could change my life. I'm so glad you came into my life. You've given me so much to live for because you make me feel so many feelings that no one except you has been able to make me feel, so thank you. Thank you for being one of the few people in this world that actually understand me, because for a while I felt lost and then somehow, we found each other in this life three times and that changed everything. I am so grateful to have met you. Being loved by you has being the greatest gift of all time. You turned my life into a journey of love and happiness. Every second I spend with you, I fall even more in love with you. I love you and I will love you forever and I don't want you to ever forget that" you said.

I love you" you said and he smiled.

"I was not expecting you, I was not even looking but somehow you came to me, as if you knew what I needed. I tried to resist it, not wanting to let this being, I was afraid of getting close to someone and letting my heart get broken again. For some reason you were persistent and reached out to me several times. Your words felt real to me, but I needed to be sure. I needed to look into your eyes to see if they spoke the truth, I had to make sure my heart would be safe with you and the moment I looked into your eyes I felt myself that way. I knew from that second my heart was safe with you and that's where I would forever stay. Thank you for finding me" he said "We found each other and my life has been better since the day I met you" you said and he smiled.

"This is perfect" you said and Five nodded before he leaned his forehead against yours "It is" he said as you both closed your eyes.

You lay your hands upon his shoulders and his hand slide into place on your waist. His touch on your waist still sends shivers through your spine every single time.

His eyes are still the most loving ones that you ever seen. His touch still warms your heart and still makes the need for more of his touch grow.

You were everything Five could ever dream of. Your smile would light up even the darkest nights and your admirable laugh mesmerized everyone in the room.

You then pulled away before you continued dancing slowly to the music as your foreheads were rested against each other.

In this moment, it just you and Five and your love for each other.

Five's grips on your waist tightens when the tempo of the melody slows. His eyes are fixated on yours and yours on his.

"You will always and forever be in my heart, no matter what comes between us. I love you with all my heart and soul. You have been the one to show me what real love looks like and what it feels like to be loved. We have made so many memories that I will keep forever. "Sometimes I wish we'd met sooner, but now I get it...our paths crossed right on time. We found each other when we needed it most, becoming each other's strenght, creating this deep, magical love, that could only happen now. We're exactly where we should be, finding in each other the love we've always deserved. A love that written in the stars, just waiting for the right moment. You're not just my partner, you're my perfect timing. Our story is proof that the best things are worth the wait" he said.

"You know what's crazy?" he asked and you shook your head "At one point you were just a stranger, somehow I lived life without knowing you existed. And now, you're the most important person in my life. I can't imagine a day without you by my side, without your laughter, your love, your presence. It's crazy how life works but I'm grateful every day that our paths crossed and that you're mine" he said and you smiled.  

"Thank you" he said "For what?" you asked "For you. And for bringing me on the right path. I don't know what person I would've become without you. You succeeded to break the stone that had came around my heart and you made me feel again. You did that. And that's one of the reasons I fell in love with you. Thank you for that and everything else" he tells you with honestly in his voice.

Your heart skip a beat when he say those words "I love you" you sad "I love you too" he said before you connected your lips.

A content smile appears in his lips. How much you love him. You have for such a long time. You've never stop loving him even though you have being rip apart so many times. Such love will never disappear. Never.

You pulled away before resting your foreheads against each other while closing your eyes as you were slowly dancing to the music. It felt like it was just the two of you at the moment.

In this moment, it was just you and Five and your love for each other.
