CHAPTER FORTY-SEVEN: A MOMENT OF PEACE

"So we finally did it, we saved the universe" you said to Five as both of you were in one of the bedrooms.

When the rain is blowing in your face
And the whole world is on your case

"We did it" he said with a smile but then it faded "What is wrong?" you asked "I'm just scared of losing you. I need you in my life as much as I need my heart beating and my lungs breathing, you're the electric that completes me, Y/n" he said "You also gave me a scare there with the fire, I thought you were going to be the hero again" you said "That's the only way I can protect you" he said as he looked down "Hey" you said and he looked at you "I don't want you to be the hero all the time. Because in the end, the hero are never the one still standing" you said and he sighed.

I could offer you a warm embrace
To make you feel my love

"You wanna know my biggest fear?" Five asked and you looked at him "It's not dying. It's not heights. It's not loneliness. It's the thought of losing you. Because you are really important to me. And quite frankly I can't imagine a life without you. If I'm being honest, yes, I am absolutely terrified to lose you, why? Because I see everything I need for the rest of my life in only you. I'm scared because I know I will never have the same love you've given me by anyone else if we have to move on in life. That's why I'll do whatever I possibly can to keep you in my life, and I'll keep fighting for you, and I promise you that I will never give up on you. You'll always be the one" he said before he took a deep breath.

When the evening shadows and the stars appear

"I can't lose you, you're my second half, my best friend, my first and only love, the love of my life, my world, my home, my happiness. If I lose you, I would lose everything. I love you more than life itself and without you, I wouldn't make it. You make me smile, when I feel like I can't. What I feel for you isn't fake, it's true love" he said before he took a deep breath "No one tell me how I live my life, no one tells me who I love, not my siblings, not my friends and definitely not the universe. And I'm not gonna let someone else's idea of destiny or plan stop me from loving you or being with you or building a future with you, because you are my life. As long as I have you. I got a future" he said and you smiled over those words.

"No one could ever understand how important you are to me, you are everything I always wanted in life, my prayers finally came true. Loving you was learning that I could be loved too, with my flaws and imperfections, with my baggage. Loving you was to learning how I unload this baggage so I could be light again. Loving you was learning which parts of me I need to work on and which parts of me should stay the same. It was recognizing that love makes me invincible. It make me a force to be reckoned with. Loving you was learning how to believe in love. It was learning how to trust again. It was learning that love doesn't always hurt. It doesn't always walk away. It doesn't always destroy us. Loving you was learning that love is a personal choice and I'll always choose love...And if I had to do it all over. I would still choose you. Please don't ever forget how much I love you. It's not always easy for me to find the words to express how much you mean to me. Your love brought me back to life. Your love taught me what true security feels like. You make me feel beautiful and smart and worthy of the greatest love of all time. The best decision I've ever made was to trust you with my heart. You are my everything. "Sometimes I scare myself by thinking, what if you were not part of my life. I have insecurities, only because I love you so much, and I know for a fact that your presence makes my life complete. Without you I would be so lost that I know that I would never be able to find myself again. So all I want from you is your love and attention, and be the one who bring a smile to your face, always. I love you much more than anything in the world, just stay with me forever. I promise to do my best to give you everything you always wanted and more, I just can't get enough of your love. I can't wait to grow old with you. Have a future with you" he said and you smiled.

"You are the only one in my life who truly understands me at my worst, who can feel every emotion of my heart and who can listen to every single thing that my heart wants to say but can't find words to say. You are the only one who can love me perfectly, even with my mood swings, whether they are terrible or amazing. I know you will always be there for me, no matter what happens in our lives and you are the only one in this whole messed up world who can take care of my heart and soul. You mean everything to me and no matter what I say to you, it is absolutely impossible to explain what I have in my heart for you and how my soul feels connected to you every single moment of my life. You are my best friend, you are my light, my hope, my first and only love, my future, my happiness, my everything" he said.

You walked closer to him before you grabbed his hands "I love you" he said "I love you too. And no matter what happens, no matter what enemies or situation we face, no matter who turn on you, no matter who becomes your enemy, I'll always be on your side. No one and I mean no one will be able to take me away from you, not even death" you said and he smiled "No matter who you are or who you become, my heart is yours forever" you said "The same thing for me" he said.

The storms are raging on the rolling sea

"There's something so beautiful about you. Something that no one else has. Whether that be the texture of your hair or peaceful poetry your voice brings to my soul. It's almost as if you're the one my heart needed and now has" he said and you smiled.

"The only thing that matters is that you make me happier than I ever thought I could be. And if you let me, I will spend the rest of my life trying to make you feel the same way" he said "You are already doing it" you said "You are it for me" he said "I feel the same way" you said and he wrapped his arms around your waist before he pulled your closer while you wrapped your arms around his neck.

"I'd choose you, in a hundred lifetimes and timeline, in a hundred worlds and universe, in any version of reality, I'd find you, and I'd choose you" he said "I would also always choose you" you said as you pressed your foreheads against each other with a smile.

"All my life I thought true love was something to be in fairy tales. Finding my prince Charming. Finding my happy ever after. Those was thing I could only dream about. Until you became that dream. And I can't believe how lucky I am to have someone so selfless, caring and loving. To have found a love so strong that sometimes it hurts. I can't believe how lucky I am to have found you. No matter how hard life will try to tear us down. We'll always find each other in the end. You are my forever, Five. You're my endgame. And I can't wait to start loving you even more as we begin our lives together. You are the man who surrounds me with unquenchable love. "My love for you has no beginning and no end. It cyclical, like life. It is ever flowing, like the oceans. It is as boundless as the sky and as vast as the universe. When I see your face, I see my past, my present, my future. When holding your hand, I feel everything inside my expand. My hearts years for you, cries for you and is willing to be with you for the rest of life wherever in good or bad condition. "So, what is next?" you asked "Spend the rest of our lives together, forever" he said and you smile "I like that" you said.

"Every time I look at you, I picture my whole life with you. I want the stupid fights and endless laughs. I don't want just that with anyone. I want that with you. You're my whole world and I can't imagine a life without you. I want a life with you, a future with you" he said "Then let's make that, together" you said and he smiled "I love you with everything I have and more. I'll always be here to care about you and whatever you're going through, I'll be here to help you with anything. I only want to see you happy and I'll do whatever I need to just see you smile" he said and you smiled "I know I can't give you the world, but I can give you my heart, my love, and my affection. And I can give you my promise to stay true to you and hold on you to for as long as you let me. Just know no matter what life brings between us, you are still going to be the only one I think about. Nobody have ever made me as happy as you do, I can't wait to spend more time with you" he said.

He stroked his thumb down your cheek as you smiled at each other "Even if I can't tell you how I feel right now, I will spend my life showing you how much I love you" he said as you looked into each other's eyes "Not a day goes by that I don't think about spending forever with you. You are all I could ever need and more and I promise to always love and take care of you. I want this forever and always, I promise. Every day with you is an adventure. And I can't believe how lucky I am. And I can't wait to share and spend the rest my life with you forever" he said and you smiled.

"You are the most important person in my life. You make everyday so much better, everyday I'm so grateful knowing I have you and I love how much you do for me, it truly makes me feel special. No one has ever made me feel this way before and I'm so grateful you did" he said.

"I promise I won't let anything or anyone come between you and me. This love we got is deeper than the oceans. My heart is yours and you know this. I'll follow you where you're going. 'Cause that's where my home is" he said and you smiled before you rested your foreheads against each other and he brushed the tip of his nose against yours.

"I would sacrifice the world to keep you safe" he said and you smiled "And remember don't put your own life at risk without telling me about it. You are staying with me all time from now on" he said and you nodded.

Well, I found a woman, stronger than anyone I know
She shares my dreams, I hope that someday I'll share her home
I found a lover, to carry more than just my secrets
To carry love, to carry children of our own

"How did I get so lucky to have someone like you in my life? You're the only one I can truly be myself around and you make me so happy. I hope you know you mean so much to me" he smiled "Meeting you is the best thing to ever happen to me because when I am with you, all my worries begin to fade away. You are my happy place" you said "And you are mine. You are my world. Never think that you are just someone to me, because you are my everything. I'm the luckiest person alive. You came into my life at the most unexpected time and then I realized that I have something special. I promise to be by your side until the end of time. I imagine my whole life with you. You and me. It's a forever kind of things. You aren't just a chapter in my life. You are the whole book. I love you in ways I can't explain and reason I can' understand. It's a love that was woven itself into the very core of my being. In love I've found my forever. You are more than perfect. I love you and I always will" he said.

"You are my forever" you said "You are my forever" he said as the two of you stared into each other's eyes.

"I know that our future will be as bright as the stars in the night sky" he said and you smiled "I can't wait to see what the future will bring" you said.

"Of all the women in the world and the timeline, you are the only one that won my heart and the only one that I want to marry, grow old with, spend the rest of my life with" he said as he had his left hand on your right cheek.  

"You're so beautiful" he storke his hand down your cheek "And you are so handsome" you smiled.

"Ready for our future together, ready to start a new life together?" he asked "So ready" you smiled.

"You will always be my forever" you said "And you will always be mine" he smiled.

"You know it's crazy how trauma and pain makes you push people away when all you need is love and you know the real reason why I keep my feelings to myself, it's because it's hard to find someone who can understand the real me, the broken me" he looked down "But you understand all of me, and that is one of the reason I fell in love with you" he said as stroke his hand down your cheek.

"I knew that you are my other half, without you I can't be whole. Sometimes I look at you and I wonder how I got to be so damn lucky. I choose you and I'll choose you over and over. Without pause; without a doubt, in a heartbeat. I'll keep choosing you. You are my best friend, the love of my life, my one and only, my world, my light, my hope, my motivation, my other half, my home, my happiness, my strength, my first and only love, my heart, my future, my life and my everything...plus that smile of yours drives me crazy...You are my heaven on Earth. You see all my light, you accept all my darkness. You light up my world like nobody else. Thanks to you I feel love every day" he said and you smiled.

"My goal is to spend the rest of my life with you, build with you and grow old with you. My love for you is unconditional, I'm not with you to wast time. I see everything in you and us. I love you, babe" he said.

Five's hands moved to your lower back, pulling your body into his as he pushed his lips against your without warning. The kiss was soft and rushed.

You both pulled away and your hands fell from his cheeks to the lapels of his suit before you slammed your lips to his again.

He sunk into the kiss, his hand weaving into your hair at the base of your scalp, pulling you closer.

He sunk deep into the kiss before he wrapped his arms around your waist.

You pulled away from the kiss, your heart was racing and you leaned your forehead against his, your eyes still closed.

"You're my everything. You're my love, my life, the air that I breathe. You're my soul, my happiness, the all that I need. You're my light, my dark, the stars in the sky. You're my ups, my downs, the reason I try. You're my strength, my weakness, the love from the start. You're the best of my heart, you're my tears of joy, in the love that you bring. You're my love, my world. You're my everything" he said "You took the words right out of my mouth" you said and he smiled.

"Let's take a vow..To never let each other go, no matter where life take us. No matter what happens, we'll always be together, always find a way to locate each other, always stand by each other's side. No matter which guise our soul decides to wear, we'll always return to each other. We'll always care about each other, we will always look for a way to make it work, no matter how hard it is and no matter how much we fight" you said and he nodded "I promise" he said and you smiled "I love you, and I will love you all day, everyday, in every timeline and in every universe" he said "I love you too and I will also love you all day, everyday, in every timeline and in every universe" you said.

"Will you promise me, that no matter mow many times we fight, we're never going to stop loving or giving up on each other. And that we will never let each other go, no matter where life take us. No matter what happens, we'll always be together, always find a way to locate each other, always stand by each other's side. No matter which guise our soul decides to wear, we'll always return to each other. We'll always care about each other, we will always look for a way to make it work, no matter how hard it is and no matter how much we fight" you said and he nodded "I promise, no matter what, we never let each other go, we will always stand by each other's side, we will always find our way back to each other and we will always care for each other and always look for a way to make ir work, no matter how hard it is. No matter how many times we fight, I promise that I will never leave you or stop loving you. I promise that no matter who enters your life, I'll love you more than any of them. I promise to love you for every moment of forever. I will keep my promise, and never give up on us. You are my home and my happy place, and no matter where we are in this world, it all will be fine as long as we are together" he said and you smiled to each other.

"I've searhed everywhere for my light to guide me out of this darkness. That's when I saw you flicker in the darkness, I knew that I had found you" he said and you smiled.   

You are someone he always look up to make him happy everyday. And to see you smile, because your smile is enough to light up his world. In his eyes you're just so perfect. You're a beacon of strength and your resilience inspires him. Your kindness and compassion shine brightly making the world a better place. Your laughter is like music to his ears and your presence is a source of endless joy. He cherish every moment with you and he want to be by your side through all the ups and downs. You're the one who makes life more meaningful and beautiful. Leaving you is simple not an option, for you are the missing piece that completes the puzzle of his life.

Five have being moving from place to place since he was 13, and most of the places he's been to have been traumatic for him. He's never had time to stop and figure out who he is, what want to do, what his actual place in life is. But then he met you. You became his purpose in life.

Five have found a flicker of hope in you whose warmth draws him in. Your friendship blossoms amid chaos, offering him a taste of the life he thought he'd lost forever. He have grew found of you. You had this kindness, this light that somehow made the life feel bearable. That was everything to him. Of all the women in the universe and the timeline, you were the only one that held the key to his heart.

You had this way of getting past his walls, pulling him into your world. You made life almost feel like...something more.

You were the only woman who could heal his dark soul. You were the cure for his tainted heart. You were the beauty shining bright in the darkness, lighting up the path that lead him to you. Always, you. He was certain that even if things would get rough, you would always be his light, guiding his way back home to you. You were the queen of his heart and always will be.

He leaned forward slightly, his lips brushing up against yours. You smiled to each other before he softly pressed his lips against yours.

While your lips were connected, he walked forward while you walked backwards causing you to sit on the bed.

He leaned forward again, and you inhaled heavily as you put your arms on the bed.

He put his hands on your cheeks, bringing your closer to him before he put his hands on your cheek and pushed you down onto the bed.

You lifted your left hand and stroke it down his right cheek as you just looked into each other's eyes, those eyes were one of the reasons you have falling in love with each other.

Five would make sure that nothing would ever happen to you again.

After everything the both of you have being through, your and Five's love and connection had just proof that nothing could keep the two of you apart and no matter what, you would always find a way back to each other. Your strong bond between you would never get destroyed or disappear, no matter what.

The two of you then pressed your lips against each other.

You moved your hands to his cheeks before moving them around to his neck and put them over the back of his head, through his hair.

He put one hand to the side of your head and the other one on your right cheek as both of you kept pushing each other in the opposite direction, trying to lean into each other.

He smirked and pushed himself forward into your body. You pushed his head closer to you.

You brought your hands to his tie and you started to untying it quickly. He grabbed it, tossing it to the side.

He let out a groan as he hastily tossed his blazer aside while still in the middle of the kiss, he tossed his suit aside before he started kissing you passionately.

"Okay, you were on fire" you said as both you and Five were laying in bed "I'm definitely gonna have hickeys tomorrow" you said "What can I say, I was alone in the apocalypse for years and I'm back in my teen body, my hormones are raging like crazy" he said.

"So this was your first make out session?" you asked "Yeah, unless you count doing it with a mannequin" he said "Nope not a real person" you said before you chuckled "How can you even do it with a mannequin?" you asked while laughing "Hey, don't judge me, I was all alone in the world" he said and she stopped laughing "You're right, sorry" you said with a smile.

"I was never in love with Delores, I was in love with the idea because she was the only thing that seemed real to me in the time. And also, I didn't do it with Delores, I was practiced in doing it" he said "That's weird" you said "Yeah, I was lonely but it was either that or go insane" he said as he was looking up at the ceiling.

"That is weird" you said "I had to talk to someone. So I have to use Delores cause she helped me keep my sanity" he said and you let out a small chuckled "Don't laugh" he said "Sorry" you said with a smile.

"But I get it, you were talking to a mannequin in the apocalypse to try and not feel so lonely or go crazy. Most people would find it weird but you were all alone in a broken world, you do what you have to. I would have done the same, if I were in your shoes" you said and he smiled before you both look up at the ceiling.

"You are the only one that gets my heart pumping" Five said and you smiled "You are the only one that get my heart beating" you said.

"How can I not fall in love with you. Your hair" he said and stroked a piece of your hair away from your forehead and you smiled "Your smile" he said before he looked at your eyes "Your eyes. Everything about you is perfect. How did I get so lucky" he said and you let out a chuckled "Well, I like how stupidly smart you are and the way you always give yourself something to do. The way you'll do anything for your family, even if that means going back into the apocalypse. I love your smile and laugh, your eyes, your heat and soul, your passion for things and your selflessness" you said and he smiled

"I don't regret taking you with me" he said "I don't regret going with you" you smiled "I can't wait to start a new life with you" you said "Either can I, I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you" he said before you pressed your lips against each other again.

Ben, Chris and Fei was sitting in the living room in front of the fire place.

"I'm glad we made peace. It all worked out" Ben said as he poured some champagne in Fei's glass "Yeah" she said as she leaned back and Ben put the champagne bottle on the floor next to him.

"But we're definitely killing them in the morning, right?" Fei asked and Chris said something "And Chris has dibs on knife boy and I will take out the little girl" Fei said.

"No one is killing anyone" Ben said "Why not?" Fei asked and Ben looked at her "We followed your plan, merged the families, saved the world. We don't need them anymore" Fei said "I'm not done yet" Ben said "Done what?" Fei asked "That's between me and Dad" Ben said before taking a sip of his champagne glass and Fei leaned forward in her chair "You made a deal with Dad?" she asked "Maybe" he said before he put his glass down on the floor.

"Fine. I'm done" Fei said as she got up "Sit down" Ben ordered "No. We don't recognize your authority anymore. You're a terrible leader with no loyalty to anyone but yourself" she said "You don't speak for Christopher" Ben said and Christopher said something causing Ben to get up "Really, dude?" he asked him and Fei let out a small laugh.

"I'm Number One. You'll do as I say when I say it" Ben said to her "Not anymore" Fei said before she looked at Chris "Here's to a new life without this dickhead" she said before she cheered her glass on Christopher and drank the glass empty.

But then the sound of energy fluctuating was heard and Chris started to shaking violently causing Fei and Ben to walk slowly closer to him.

"Christopher, what's wrong?" Fei asked but Christopher just kept shaking more as cracks appeared on him.

"Back away, Fei" Ben said "Chris, it's going to be okay" Fei said as she stepped closer to him while Ben took some step backwards "Fei!" he shouted "I'm going to help you. Just--" Fei said but then Christopher exploded and Fei let out a dying screams as The Kugelblitz pulled her in while Ben was knock to the floor.

Another shockwave pulsing was heard as the whole Academy started shaking before collapsing.

You and Five ran out of a room as the whole places was shaking more while it started to fall apart.

"What is going on?" you asked as you were holding on to Five "It's the Kugelblitz, is not gone" he said "We need to get out of here" you said but then Five spotted Ben laying unconscious on the floor in the living room while the Kugelblitz got bigger and bigger closing in on him.

"Wait. Ben!" he said before he looked at you "You need to get out of here" he said "Not without you" you said "I need to get Ben" Five said "I'm going to help you" you said "No you are not, go" Five said and you nodded before running out of the Academy while Five blinked into the living room, grabbing Ben and he reach to blink away before they could get hit by the Kugelblitz.

The whole Academy was suck into the Kugelblitz together with other buildings next to it.

You were sitting on the bed while Five was walking back and forth, his fingers running through his hair, in frustration.

"Five" you said and he looked at you.

You could see how his face how tired he was and it looks like he was about to break down.

"Get to bed" you said "No, there must be another way to stop this" he said "Five" you said as you got up from the bed before you walked over to him.

"There is no other way. That was our last chance and it didn't work" you said "We have to come up with something" he said.

You see how his face that he didn't wanted to give up. He was trying his best to come up with even the smallest plan.

"I don't think there is any way in saving the world now" you said "That doesn't look like you, giving up, we have to fight more for this" he said out loud "Not all fights are worth fighting for. Odds are, we don't survive this one" you said "I'll take those odds if it mean I get to spend it with you. If it means living a new wonderful life together I will take those odds" he said and you looked at him "I'm not ready to give up. You might have lost hope now, but I have not" he said, a little aggressive.

"Five" you said and was about to grab his hand but he step back "I need time to think" he said before he turned around and left the room.

You ran your fingers through your hair in frustration before sitting down on the bed with a sigh.
